Photo exhibition talked about by nature

[Shitamachi Tom] Nov. 28, 2012 09:00

How do you spend the transition from autumn to winter?maple

My favorite town in Ginza seems to be quietly standing in preparation for the end of the year, and it seems to be preparing for the coming of winter, and it is still an attractive town.

Nikon Plaza 201211 (1)_R.JPG

At [Ginza Nikon Salon] located in Ginza 7-chome, we are actively holding solo exhibitions of unique photographers.
In terms of "cutting moments," the art of photography seems to be a comprehensive art that combines the expressiveness of painting with the realism of Haiku.camera

Now, at this salon, "Yoshiharu Higa Photo Exhibition" is being held until December 4th.
Higa is from Okinawa and travels to the United States at a young age, and is now a wonderful photographer living in New York.
I was introduced to a first-year sightseeing correspondent, a cat on a hill, and came to visit immediately.

[Ginza Nikon Salon] is located in the side of [Ginza Matsuzakaya], and is a spot where people who love photos and cameras can go through. This time, Higa's photo exhibition is titled "Chiraga-Okinawa bare skin", and exhibits a number of works that mainly capture the natural modeling of Okinawa from a unique perspective. It seems to be full of love and respect for nature in casual landscapes such as rocks, cliffs, and plants. Do you say "silence but eloquent"?upwardright

By the way, "Chiraga" is the Ryukyu dialect, which means "the skin of the face", mainly refers to the skin of the pig's face. It may be that the author's desire to convey the life of Okinawa is included.

The salon is free to enter, so please drop in when you go out to Ginza.

I think you can feel a conversation with nature that interacts through the Finder.impact

Don't forget "Great East Japan Earthquake's Memory and Reconstruction" Exhibition

[Yotaro] Nov. 26, 2012 15:58

IMG_0659.JPG Where did you come at 2:40 p.m. on March 11, 2011? I was born near the wall of the Kidai Shoran, an underground concourse in front of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi.Great East Japan Earthquake's Memory and Reconstruction exhibition is being held in the same place. (Until the 30th. Free of charge.

IMG_0428.JPG About 20,000 people died in missing person, about 360,000 houses partially destroyed ... more than 600 days have passed since great disaster, but traces of earthquakes and tsunamis remain in various places and many people are forced to evacuate. The organizer says that the exhibition was held to convey the response to the Great East Japan Earthquake and the situation of reconstruction, and that the days of fighting against major earthquake will not be weathered.

The exhibits include those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake (road signs, clocks, etc.), photo panels before and after the tsunami, and panels introducing reconstruction activities, but photos of Ishinomaki Kitakami River estuary and Takada Matsubara have a feeling of millet on the skin no matter how many times you look.

Another interesting thing is the introduction of disaster traditions in Tohoku. It is a legend that passed on safe evacuation site to future generations based on the experience of the past tsunami, such as Funakoshi Yamanouchi in Iwate and Yamadamachi, and the story of Matsuyama and Kosaji in Miyagi and Tagajo.

At the end of Matsuyama Nami Kosoji (Motosuke Kiyoharano) while squeezing the sleeves into a contract.

It's a familiar song with Hyakunin Isshu. The wave crosses Matsuyama at the end ... It is an analogy of what can not happen, but the tsunami rushed to the surrounding area in Great East Japan Earthquake, but only Matsuyama at the end remained without flooding.

※Nihonbashi "Memory and Reconstruction of Great East Japan Earthquake" Exhibition

●Until November 30 (Fri). Free of charge

●Venue Tokyo Metro Mitsukoshimae Station Concourse 1-3 Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku

●Organized by Great East Japan Earthquake's Memory and Reconstruction Exhibition Executive Committee

   ●“Nihonbashi” Preservation Society and others

●Planning Non-Profit Organization National Highway Exchange Meeting

   ●Supported by Chuo-ku, etc.

On March 11th, on Chuo-dori, on the ground, preparations for the 100th anniversary of the Nihonbashi Bridge, "Edo Furumachi Festival", which will be held the next day, were reaching its final stage. I also bought an advance ticket for one of the events, "ladder liquor tournament", and was looking forward to the day, but the festival was canceled. I would like you to revive the ladder liquor tournament with Tohoku sake and appetizers someday.

"Gathering of International Exchange 2012" by Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association

[Silver] Nov. 19, 2012 08:15

On November 17, "Gathering of International Exchange 2012" was held by the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association (CCIEA). . When I signed my name at the reception on the 2nd floor, Mr. Bountia's lady kindly offered me a tea service. Immediately, a talk with people I met recently began, and it was a peaceful moment.happy01 Those on the left side of me have a fun exchange with those born in Taiwan, who live in Chuo-ku for international marriage, volunteers, men who came to Japan from Germany and lived in Chuo-ku for three and a half years. I look forward to participating in this event every year. There were a lot of fun events. Among them,

CIMG1113.jpg CIMG1114.jpg

Today, it was Sri Lanka Day, so he introduced Sri Lanka's culture and exchanges with staff and the general public. It's a record of staying in Sri Lanka and experiencing life here. He told me that it was important to know the local area and actually experience it, not just a trip.

CIMG1112.jpg CIMG1111.jpg

He also taught me the ecology of tropical plants and how to use them in daily life. After that, I enjoyed matcha, ink painting. My feet are numb!coldsweats01 I also tried the Nanjing Tama blinds. Would you like to show off the Nanjing Tama blinds here next year?

CIMG1110.jpg CIMG1115.jpg

I once again realized the importance of international exchange at the citizen level. I would like to express my deepest respect and appreciation for the activities of the staff of the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association (CCIEA). Thank you very much. Kizkinasai 2012

[Apricot peony] Nov. 13, 2012 15:00

Kizukinasai 2012 was held on Saturday, November 10 and 11 (Sun) to commemorate the registration of cultural properties at Tsukiji Honganji Temple and the restoration of main hall.

ck1203_1211131.jpgThe word "Kizukinasai", which is a little unfamiliar to the word "Kizukinasai", "The origin of Tsukiji, the charm of the food town of Tsukiji, the life that is utilized-Kizukinasai", is also written as "Tsukinasai", and builds the ground It seems that it means "noticing" the important things that are always there, compared to the place name of Tsukiji.

Today, this Tsukiji has a strong image of the market, but as the name suggests, you may know that it is a landfill.
But did you know that it was actually reclaimed to build Honganji Temple?

A long time ago, when the Shogunate was opened in Edo, Nishi Honganji Temple in Kyoto set up a separate hospital, but it was originally located around Asakusa Yokoyamacho (now Nihonbashi Yokoyamacho) and was called "Asakusa Mido".
However, it was burned down in the great fire of the Meiryaku era in 1657.
When he hoped for reconstruction, the Shogunate approved the shallows of Edo Minato.
At this time, fishermen who Ieyasu Tokugawa called from Tsukuda Village, Settsu Kuni, had reclaimed the tidal flats of the gunshot and built `` Tsukuda Island '', but ck1203_1211134.jpgsince they were monks of Nishi Honganji Temple, this Tsukiji reclamation It seems that he made a great contribution.
"Tsukiji Honganji" was built on a land slightly larger than the Hyakuma square.

After various changes, the current main hall, designed by Chuta Ito, was founded in 1934.
This year, 78 years later, a major restoration was carried out.

On the day of the event, local gourmets from all over the country gather on the precincts as "Food Town Tsukiji".
Of course, a local Tsukiji store also opened, and everyone was tasting under the autumn sky.

ck1203_1211132.jpg ck1203_1211133.jpg

In main hall, Buddhist memorial service commemorative lecture was held, with video screenings and panel exhibitions introducing the progress of restoration, as well as panel exhibitions by Kozui Otani and designer Chuta Ito.
Kozui Otani is the 22nd lord of Nishi Honganji Temple, who dispatched Otani explorers to the Silk Road to investigate Buddhist headwater.
The expedition's encounter with Chuta Ito during the exploration triggered the creation of the current Honganji building.

And the most thankful event in main hall was the main hall preview.
I was able to enter the back of inner sanctum, which I couldn't usually go up, and I was able to see it very close.

ck1203_1211135.jpg ck1203_1211137.jpg ck1203_1211136.jpg

In addition to Buddhist utensils such as kitchens, the parts of inner sanctum's gold leaf, such as pillars, long pushes and barriers, are all newly stamped, lacquer is repainted, and the painted parts are repainted after restoration.
I just breathed in its beauty and solemnity.
In addition, we received a detailed pamphlet on the restoration work, and it was a wonderful commemorative event that I was able to meet a really difficult opportunity.
