Under the theme of this event, a student idea competition organized by the Japan Society of Landscaping is being held.

This competition was held in February as part of the conference's national convention, and there were 58 applications from domestic and foreign students, and as a result of the primary screening, 11 were advanced to the secondary screening.

19, including these 11, were on display at the underground concourse of Mitsukoshimae Station on the Tokyo Metro until May 26.

The content of the competition is based on the historical characteristics of the Nihonbashi River from Edobashi to Tokiwa Bridge and the Chuo-dori from Eidai-dori to Koza-dori, and the history of the bridge since the bridge was built in 1903, the activities of the Nihonbashi Preservation Society, and the recent development trends in the surrounding area, making it a Tokyo landmark that has been around since the Edo period and has fewer parks, plazas and greenery.

At the underground concourse of Mitsukoshimae Station, attractive ideas proposals from various angles were exhibited from students from the United States, China, and Turkey, including Japan.CIMG32762.JPG

However, since the competition outline stipulates that "the Metropolitan Expressway will remain as it is," all proposals are proposals for the Metropolitan Expressway over Nihonbashi. I feel a little disappointed that I wanted to see the proposals when removing the city height. .

On May 24, a public presentation, examination committee and panel discussion were held at Tokyo Securities Hall in Kabutocho 1-chome, and the winners were announced and commended at Chiba University on the 25th.

"Let's see the moon and Saturn!" <Time Dome Akashi>

[whatever] May 20, 2013 08:33

Various astronomical events are held at Time Dome Akashi, a planetarium hall in Akashicho's Local Tenmonkan.

May 18 (Saturday) event "Let's see the Moon and Saturn!" I applied in advance and was notified of the winning, so I participated. At 6:00 pm reception starts, first at the planetarium hall on the 6th floor, a commentator will explain the celestial body seen on that day. He told me what direction the moon and Saturn look in, and the constellations that can be seen in this season at the same time. The planetarium has been to the planetarium in Shibuya since I was in kindergarten. It is somewhat nostalgic and exciting to look for constellations in the night sky while looking at the star chart.

While being explained at the planetarium hall, on the rooftop where the astronomical telescope was installed, the person in charge was checking until just before whether it could be seen. On this day, it was warm and cheerful during the day, and it was pleasant enough to spend a short sleeve, but the wind began to blow near the evening and clouds came out. For the time being, I went up to the rooftop because I could see it, and when I looked at it with the naked eye, the moon was hazy, but the crater was clearly confirmed with the astronomical telescope. By the way, the astronomical telescope was made by MEADE (Mead). The stars could not be easily seen with the naked eye, but we barely began to see what glowing above the St. Luke's Tower, so we quickly changed the direction of the telescope and connected them until Saturn appeared. We confirmed the first-class star "Ark Tors", which is part of the constellation Virginia and part of the large curve in spring. It glowed orange and sparkling!

The clouds were not easy to cut, the wind became strong and cold, the end time was approaching, and when I gave up saying that it was impossible today, I finally saw something that glowed in the appropriate direction! When I turned the direction of the astronomical telescope to Saturn again, I saw it! ! Is it just about 2mm? However, I was able to confirm the ring firmly!

Hospitals and high-rise apartments are lined up around the area, so participants could not take photos due to consideration for the neighborhood, and unfortunately I could not tell the state of the viewing party, but there were many parents and children. In addition, this astronomical observatory is limited to those who live or work in Chuo-ku, but there are many events that anyone can participate, so if you are interested in astronomy, please check the annual schedule and participate Please give me!

The 2nd month of the roofing performance - the Kabukiza Theater in May

1. May 15, 2013 09:00

The roofing performance also started in the second month, but it was still bustling. It became a Kabukiza theater for two days after the GW to guide acquaintances who were asked to "go to the new Kabukiza Theater". In the intermission, the souvenir shop "Kibikicho" and the 3rd floor "Medetaiyaki".

I was guided to the cafe, but I was able to walk without hitting other people. I laughed with the cash register, "I'm now able to walk." Even now, the congestion in April was amazing! There is one happy discovery. I didn't feel it because the first day was in the third row, but on the second day, if I was worried that it might be difficult to see in the 12th row, this would be much easier to see than before the renovation . I realized that it was announced that "the slope on the first floor was strengthened." I think it's okay if there's a big one in the front seat.

The acquaintances were very satisfied with the impression that the stage was near.

"Sannin Yoshizo" is a luxurious face-to-face meeting of Kikugoro, Nizaemon, and Koshiro, and "Yoshidaya" is also a combination of a famous combination of Nizaemon and Tamasaburo, so friends who were not too related to Kabuki seemed to be enjoying it, and I was relieved. I would be really happy if Kabuki fans could increase as much as possible with the new opening.

It seems to be full, but depending on the date, it seems still possible to get it.

Tsukiji Nanikaichi egg-yaki comparison

[Apricot peony] May 11, 2013 09:00

Today, Tsukiji is the fish shore, but it was located in Nihonbashi during the Edo period, when it originated.
Later, after the Great Kanto Earthquake, it was relocated to its current location in 1935 (Showa 10).
In other words, in 2012, 77 years have passed.
To commemorate this, Tsukiji Nanikaichi started in the out-of-market last year.
ck1203_130508 (2). jpg
On the 7th of every month, I'm really looking forward to going, such as offering special products that each store boasts at a special price and limited products that only sell on the 7th, but on May 7th after the consecutive holidays Tsukiji's first time in the world that you can eat and compare the eggs from Tsukiji Outer Market. The event was held!

As there is the phrase "Giant / Taiho / Egg-yaki", there are many people who like egg-yaki, from children to adults.
I really like it!
Even if you take it to a souvenir, you will be really pleased.

Originally, it seems that there are many ovaki shops in Tsukiji because it is used for sushi rice, but when asked, "Which shop is delicious?", Tsukiji's deepest part.
That's because there are 8 shops on the out-of-market map!
Each store not only sticks to the eggs of the ingredients, but also makes its own taste by devising sweetness, how well the soup stock is made, and how it is baked.
In addition to plain ones, depending on the shop, there are various variations of egg grilling, such as eels and ducks, crabs, cherry shrimps, wild plants and misansho, leek and honey leaves, plum dried and chili, matsutake mushrooms and chestnuts on a seasonal basis!
With this alone, it was really difficult to conquer all the stores, and it was difficult to answer honestly.

In such a situation, I saw the poster of this event.
The moment I saw it, I couldn't help but think, "Who thought about such a happy project!"

By the way, on the day, when you go to the venue "Platto Tsukiji", you will first receive a reception, and you will pay 200 yen there.
Then you will be given a white tray and fork.

ck1203_130508 (5). jpg ck1203_130508 (6). jpg
The tray is covered with paper, each of which contains the names of the eight participating stores.
On the left of the reception, there is a corner of "Yamacho", where you put eggs on the place where "Yamacho" on the tray is written.
ck1203_130508 (3). jpg

Then, when you turn around the venue clockwise, "Marutake", "Hontama Kojima", "Tamahachi", "Tamayu", "Daison", "Daisada", "Matsuro", followed by egg-yaki of the 8 participating stores on the tray. System that is all aligned.

At the last "Matsuro", we also received a pack containing two eggs.
In addition, we also received flyers with various service benefits, and compared to eating!

ck1203_130508 (7). jpg ck1203_130508 (4). jpg

It was my first experience to eat this much at the same time.
As an amateur, the first thing I notice is that there is a big difference in sweetness.
And the method of making soup stock is completely different.
In addition, some have a fluffy texture, while others are smooth and smooth.
No, no, everyone is hard to beat, and as expected, "Tsukiji, a food town."
If you like sweetness, I feel like I'm one step closer to that shop, and if you like soup stock, this shop and Tsukiji master, which can be recommended according to your taste.

And on June 7th,

It's called "new tea and seaweed" and "handy seaweed".

This is also the first event in Tsukiji.

This is going to be a deep world.

After this, a magnificent parade was held by the Metropolitan Police Department and the Tokyo Brass Band Federation.

Tokyo Art Antique 2013 in Kyobashi & Nihonbashi

[Silver] May 2, 2013 14:00

Tokyo Art Entertainment is a wonderful event every spring from Kyobashi to Nihonbashi's gallery and art dealer shops. By the way, what kind of wonderful works can you meet this year? What kind of discovery do you have? I'm looking forward to it.

In the Kyobashi area, the Tokyo Square Garden was completed, and the streets have changed completely. I decided to visit this shop slowly on another occasion and enjoy a tour of the gallery.

DSC01871.jpg
The first gallery I visited, Kashima Art, was holding an exhibition called "Beauty Festival".
Japanese paintings, including wonderful beauty paintings, were on display.

DSC01876.jpg
At Suinami Gallery, Akiko Takeda's work exhibition was being held.
It seems that some kind of beast has become a hot topic this year.
I see, do some beasts protect women?

At Taiyo of Orient Archeological Art, there was an exhibition that was truly impressed.

In addition, his wife also talked about the god of wisdom called "Athena", the owl is the wise of the forest and the angel of the holy god.

At the next visit, "Ancient Art Kin", a miniature work depicting India was exhibited. Here, rare flowers were used in the vase, so when I asked my wife, I was very kind to teach me.

In the photo, it is not clearly visible, but from the left, it is extended-age grass, Kodamari, two-wheeled grass, Yukikusageshi, and Tessen.

In Nihonbashi, we visited the Ebiya Art Store and asked about the history of the shop. Originally, there was a shop in Kyoto, and because of the fact that furnishings were delivered to the Imperial Palace, artworks were also delivered. In 1871, the sixth owner of the shop was opened in Tokyo, and the current owner is the ninth. I was fascinated by the beauty paintings of the early Meiji era on display in the store.

At Shuzando Gallery, there were works by Katsuta Suda, Toushi Okumura, and Kanemon Asai, who kindly explained the work.

Why don't you join us next time, a fun art antique? All of the shops that participated this time were shops with low thresholds. It will surely welcome you warmly on everyday day.
