"The 90th Birthday Shotaro Ikenami" Exhibition starts Maru-Matsuya Ginza

1. August 31, 2013 09:00

August is the last week, as expected, the heat seems to have subsided a little. To Matsuya to watch the "Shotaro Ikenami" exhibition that started yesterday. The photos are displayed in front of "Matsuya Kanda", which Ikenami liked to go in front of the elevator on the 1st floor, and I was somewhat excited because I also love soba here. At the entrance of the 8th floor hall, you can see Matsuya Kanda's flowers along with flowers from Eemon Yoshiemon, who plays "Kihei" on TV and movies, and Maiko Kaji of "Strict Reconnaissance Masa".

It has been 90 years since a writer loved by many fans was born in works such as "Onihei Crime Book", "Swordsman Business", and "Sanada Taiheiki". Born in Asakusa in 1923. Kazuya Naka's original illustrations were exhibited together in the handwritten manuscript, and I remembered when I was absorbed in it and I missed it. What is overwhelmed is a list of huge works. I knew that I wrote a lot, but when it was arranged in a row, "Awesome!" That's right. A diary for three years, which can be called a "food record" that shows the reproduction and eating habits of the study that was written, a work that depicts overseas travel and familiar scenery. So TV and movie fans also recreates the costumes of "Kihei" and "Umeyasu", the soldier pots and "Gotetsu" used by Onihei for secret talks. There is also a "Ikenami Works Quiz Tour" using 7 places in the department store, and it seems that you can get a small gift if you answer correctly. It's a bit disappointing that I couldn't participate in the quiz because I didn't have time. I would like to stop by again when I have time. It seems that it will still take some time to get "cool", so how about enjoying the heat and the exhibition at the department store together?

"Shotaro Ikenami Exhibition" - until September 9th (Monday)

Collaboration with Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa! 「46th Sony Aquarium」

[Tsukiji Nyanko] August 29, 2013 16:08

At the Ginza 5-chome Sony Building, the center of Ginza, today
We are conducting a collaborative project "46th Sony Aquarium" with the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium.

IMG_4106.jpg IMG_9205.jpg

The large aquarium facing the Sukiyabashi intersection is a fake Goishi Utsubo with a total length of 1.5m.
Lemon sharks born in the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, and Okinawa's prefectural fish sago.
The fish were swimming. In the hot city of Ginza, many children, adults, and many people.
I was healed by the fish swimming
comfortably.♫

When you enter the Sony Building, you will find a cylindrical tank on the first floor and a colorful coral reef living in a coral reef.
Tropical fish were on display. In addition,
"Churashima" at Sony Shorm.
There is a space where you can experience the nature of "Churaumi" and the "fushigi" of creatures.

A few years ago, I went to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium to play, but I felt very nostalgic.
As an adult, I think there will be fewer opportunities to go to the aquarium, so these projects are planned.
I think it's wonderful that both children and adults can enjoy together.

This event will be held until Sunday, September 1 this weekend.

Why don't you visit your summer memories with shopping?

ommy2.JPG

It was shakuhachi player Kinohachi who performed the dedication.

On the day of the event, "To the air", which was used as the theme song of "Ryoma Goes", was dedicated, and then two songs, the theme song of "Yinyoshi" and the ending theme, were dedicated.

After the dedication performance, the author, Baku Yumemakura and the starring Sogoro Ichikawa joined, and talked passionately about listening to the theme song and his enthusiasm for the new Kabuki.

By the way, the new Kabuki "Yinyoshi" seems to be sold out on the same day.

The 25th Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival

[TAKK...] August 13, 2013 14:00

[Beginning of August]

I received a good news.

I got a numbered ticket for the main venue of Harumi, Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival.

1seiri.jpg

The Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival is one of the best fireworks festivals in Tokyo, with as many as 12,000 fireworks being launched from the sea.

Harumi The main venue is one of the best places to view under the best conditions among the many venues.

[8:30 on the day]

The event was officially announced on the website of Chuo-ku.

The weather forecast is "Sunny and sometimes cloudy."

It's going to be very hot. It may be the hottest summer this summer.

I'm worried about the recent frequent guerrilla downpours.

[Around 16:00]

Take the Edo bus to Harumi 3-chome near the venue.

There are already many people, and emergency vehicles are also located.

Somehow, it's a terrible atmosphere.

Walk for about 10 minutes and enter the venue's premises.

Pass the side of the bridge under construction and head to the main venue.

By the time this bridge is completed, what is this area like?

[Around 16:30]

Proceed to the baseball stadium, which is close to the launch site even in the main venue.

In the hot weather, many people were already waiting for fireworks.

Set the radio you bring to Central FM and wait for the countdown while drinking beer.

Occasionally, the cool wind blows.

【18:00】

The gun roars in the sunset sky, and expectations are rising.

5goho.jpg

You can see Tokyo Tower in the distance.

【18:50】

The countdown finally begins.

Fireworks are launched one after another with the voice of "zero!"

From the radio, a special program for the Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival of Chuo FM was broadcast.

The fireworks looked so big that it looked like a star was falling.

[Around 20:10]

The Daika Securities Fire Festival, which was less than an hour and a half, ended in no time.

A generous applause was sent to the people of pyrotechnician who showed great fireworks and the people of Daika Securities Fire Festival.

On the way back, there was no great confusion, and many people walked in order.

The 25th Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival

[whatever] August 13, 2013 09:00

The 25th Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival was held in Harumi on August 10, when the heat was record in various parts of the Japanese Islands and exceeded 37 ° C for the first time in six years in the city center. Organized by the Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival Executive Committee, Chuo-ku, and Asahi Shimbun.

hanabi1.jpg

Apply in advance and get an admission ticket. The venue is Harumi main venue (in Chuo-ku, Harumi second venue). The capacity is about 50,000 (Harumi No. 2 venue is about 42,000). Open at 17:00. Blue sheets were laid in several blocks throughout the venue, and each one was taking up on it. At around 17:30 when I arrived at the venue, every seat was filled with many people, but it seemed that there was still room ahead. I have a little forward in the middle.

hanabi2.JPG

Until 18:50, the launch start time, announcements such as the availability of viewing places and explanations of fireworks were flowing in the venue. As I mentioned earlier, this venue requires an admission ticket, and the restrictions for up to two people and the opening time were fixed, so it seems that everyone was relatively quiet and waiting until the launch started I think.

The launch time was approaching, and the entire venue counted down 10 seconds in advance, and colorful fireworks were launched one after another. Fireworks of the character "Yurito" with the motif of the bird Yurikamome in the capital also appeared.

hanabi10.JPGhanabi3.JPG

All pyrotechnician's works from all over Japan were powerful and cheered from the whole venue. Also, when a shaku five-squat ball (diameter about 45 cm) is launched, it spreads to about 400 m above the sky, and the vibration resonates with the ground and the body, which is breathtaking.

1.JPG2.JPG3.JPG4.JPG5.JPG6.JPG

Approximately 12,000 fireworks colored the night sky of Tokyo Bay. The total number of spectators this year was about 680,000.

It has passed the fall on the calendar, but the heat is likely to continue. However, it was a time when I could forget the heat with power and beauty.
