-All dreams can be realized if you have the courage to continue seeking dreams - Walt Disney
In 1923, Walt Disney and his brother Roy founded the Walt Disney Company in 1990. From March 19th, Matsuya Ginza has been holding a special exhibition "Disney Dream and Magic 90 Years Exhibition from Mickey Mouse to Pixar" that looks back on Disney's 90 years. On the first day of the event, after the work is over, it seems to be quite crowded with Matsuya at the venue.
At the venue, under the supervision of "Walt Disney Archives", about 800 items such as works of animators and designers who have been active so far are exhibited for each theme by theme. At the venue full of highlights such as props and costumes used in the movie, venue-limited original goods related to the exhibited works and the latest Disney goods released in advance at the venue are also sold.
The venue is Event Square on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibition period is until April 7 (Mon), but starting here in Matsuya Ginza, it will take about a year and a half to travel around the country, including Osaka and Fukuoka.
If you want to soak in Disney in Ginza this time when it's finally getting warmer, please go out.

We went to theater to see the hot topic of the two "parallel riders". I misunderstood the release date and applied in a hurry, and it was almost full. The Osaka performance in April is also sold out. 。 。 You can see the high expectations for the new work of "Super Kabuki". It is still remembered that the third generation Sarunosuke's first work, Yamato Takeru, was performed in February 1986, a long run for 10 months and a mobilization of 500,000 people. I think there are many people. In the Nikkei "My Resume" last month, which became a hot topic, Sarunosuke wrote this and that until the performance. Then 28 years ...
When the curtain opens and the lighting is turned on, it is a “mouth” of actors in a light yellow mosaic. The contemporary drama actors of Kuranosuke Sasaki, Seiji Fukushi and Kazuyuki Asano line up in the Sawayaya of Ukon, Shoya, Shozaburo, and Saruya-san lined up in a row and applauded the audience! "The face is pale in the cold sweat" and Kuranosuke Sasaki makes me laugh.
The work and production are popular Tomohiro Maekawa. The story is a story of friendship and growth between a young Buddhist priest Towa (Sarunosuke), who is worried about the meaning of carving Buddha statues in the Heian period, and a childhood friend Kazuma (Kuranosuke Sasaki), who goes to the capital to save farmers and becomes an official. . According to an interview with Sarunosuke, the name "II Second" is "Not assimilation between Kabuki and contemporary drama, but by holding hands independently with each other, new things are born." The long-awaited "smoky ride" Sarunosuke is used to it, but it is "for the first time" for Kuranosuke Sasaki, who first appeared in Kabuki. Since it was the 8th day, it seems that there was a little room, and when two people joined hands and swim in the air, they applauded again. It's a very long swim and a big service. After the air ride, the stage moves around narrowly with a sense of speed with the physical ability of the "Large standing" flow. It's amazing! That's a word. Applause and curtain call first. Even so, Mr. Kuranosuke, "white paint" is too decided! That's right. The standing figure is also dignified, and it is a "stage shine" that seems to be a very "Kabuki first appearance". Shoya's female thieves is also cool, and you can enjoy it without complaining.
Please take a look at the first work of "Super Kabuki II".
Limited edition chocolate (500 yen) commemorating the performance is until the 29th.

Chuo-ku is also a gourmet town. Nihonbashi, Ginza, Tsukiji, Ningyocho ... I can't count if I give a delicious shop.
I usually search for affordable shops and enjoy a meal casually, but sometimes I want to be a little nervous and enjoy high-class French.
On this day, I visited "Rest Landon Pierre" in Ginza 1-chome. It is a long-established store with a history of 30 years under the name "Perinyon". Last year, we merged with the Kyobashi store and re-started as Rest Landon Pierre.
The store has a warm atmosphere that you will never notice, and it is full of exciting atmosphere with important guests. The menu is lined with items that sway your finger, so you will get lost. In particular, the steak seems to be soft and juicy and melting. The appearance of the table is also set so that you can enjoy plenty of extraordinary space. Take off your hat to the service spirit without gaps.
There are plenty of desserts. I had a pudding this time. Slight bitterness and deep sweetness spread in your mouth. It is also a blissful time to look back on what you have received today while drinking coffee. How luxurious it is to be able to enjoy a calm meal in the middle of a big city.
When I visited the store, of "Cored Muromachi" 1-3, which will be grand opening on the 20th of this month, a consommé soup specialty store "Jule Dole" will be opened as an affiliated store on the ground floor of "Cored Muromachi 2". I'm always impressed with the attitude of seeking a new form of taste.
I'm looking forward to seeing more spots with new flavors in Chuo-ku.
I was full and satisfied with it. "Ginza French" was a very fascinating gastronomy.

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the land and terrain where we live. It is said that the formation of the terrain in Chuo-ku was centered on a peninsula-shaped sandbar called Edo Maejima, and then the surrounding area was reclaimed.
This historical walk is a course where you can explore the historic sites along the road twice in April while walking near the periphery of Edo Maejima. Sponsored by the Chuo-ku Cultural Properties Supporters Association of Chuo-ku Town Walking Volunteer Guide
→We are currently accepting applications! Specifically, please see "news center of ward" March 11 issue. Here>>
(left figure) "Edo's prototype" (written by Masao Suzuki, "Edo was built in this way", Chikuma Gakugei Bunko version, published in January 2000, p21 to part) (Right figure) (Land condition map" from the Geographical Survey Institute's electronic national land portal site and "Low humidity map of the early Meiji era".
Let's take a look at Edo Maejima and modern terrain.
In the figure on the left, the central peninsula area is called Edo Maejima. Located south of the Hongo Plateau, which is marked Ochanomizu, it is also called the Nihonbashi Plateau. Is the nun shop near Nihonbashi, and Masakado Shuzuka around Otemachi? To the west of Edo Maejima is the Hibiya inlet, and to the east is the sea.
It is said that Edo was built based on the topography of Edo Maejima. Kadoyama will be reclaimed to reclaim the Hibiya inlet, and the former Hirakawa will be headwater on the outer moat and Nihonbashi River. The old Tokaido is said to have passed through the ridge of Edo Maejima. The state of the town in the early Edo period is described by the pictorial map "Edoshozu, Toyoshima-gun, Bushu".
The figure on the right shows the latest data on topographic structures recently published. The yellow place that is bent in the center in the direction of "ku" is a fine terrain classified as "sand bar", indicating that it almost overlaps with Edo Maejima on the left. The area around Tokyo Station is slightly different, but it is consistent that the area around Shimbashi is the southern end of Edo Maejima. The figure on the right shows Chuo-ku during the early Meiji period, that is, the late Tokugawa shogunate period. The waterway is stretched, and Tsukishima does not exist yet.
If these two figures are superimposed, it can be said that the center of Chuo-ku today was born from a sandbar called Edo Maejima. So, are there any traces of it now? Looking at the altitude difference between Harumi-dori St. and Eitai-dori St. at east-west points, the ridge of Edo Maejima and the current Chuo-dori are higher than the surrounding area (altitude). The ruins of outer moat and Kaedegawa are thought to be near the outer edge of Edo Maejima.
This historical walk is an unprecedented new attempt to explore the origins of the topography formation in Chuo-ku and look at the history of Edo and Tokyo. @ Akira Makibuchi

I went to the topic "Guritogura Exhibition". "Mido" was introduced at the beginning of February, so you may know the details, but today, one week before the end of the exhibition, there is a person and person who took a commemorative photo with a mobile phone or digital camera in front of the entrance of the venue . When I asked the person in charge at the entrance, he said, "Saturdays and Sundays were even more amazing." The most prominent visitors are young women in their 20s and 30s and moms with infants, and the combination of quite older people with grandchildren. You can see a wide range of fan base of "Guritogura". The original drawing corner from the 7 works is divided and you can immerse yourself in the world of each work. A very enjoyable conversation video between Hayao Miyazaki and Rieko Nakagawa, a reading corner is set up at a spacious counter near the exit, where you can freely read works, and it is young women who are enjoying playing carta . The atmosphere of kindergarten and nursery school play time. You can also enjoy goods such as cards, cartas, handkerchiefs, picture books, and merchandise corners at the exit. It would be nice to have a lot of cashier booths so that visitors can not wait. "Guritogura" is printed in 196! It was a great place.
The design of the admission ticket is different, so that's right. This is the shape of a large egg that can be found. I was able to hear the playfulness of the exhibition planner and it became fun to this point. It seems that the daytime on Weekday is relatively free.
Until March 10, Matsuya Ginza 8F Event Square 10:00 ~ 20:00 on the last day closes at 17:00.
