Shinkawa, a watering spot for the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival

[TAKK...] August 31, 2014 09:00

A while ago, the portable shrine Union imperial procession, where the Gohori of the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival imperial procession in shrine parishioner was held on Saturday, August 16, and 53 portable shrine units from each town were imperial procession together on Sunday, August 17.

At the festival of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine (Koto-ku), Shinkawa and Hakozaki in Chuo-ku were also part of the portable shrine Union imperial procession route.

Usually, the roads where office workers and cars come and go are full of portable shrine, bearers and security guards.

You will cross Eitai Bridge from Shinkawa and return to Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, but in front of Eitai Bridge is a watering spot.

"Watering" is the habit of pouring clean water from the roadside to the portable shrine bearers.

However, here, the fire brigade uses a fire engine to "water discharge", so it is a tremendous power and must-see.

It's extremely hot, so I'm grateful for watering.

 The dog rushed in.

The appearance of portable shrine dancing in the office district looks very strange.

Even if the shape of the city changed, I thought that the tradition was well preserved.

It means that there are many people who support the festival, and I felt very grateful.

Tsurutaro Kataoka Exhibition [Matsuya Ginza]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 28, 2014 09:00

From August 27 (Wednesday), "Tsurutaro Kataoka Exhibition 60th Anniversary of Painting" has been held at Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square, and I went there on the first evening.

katao1.JPGMr. Tsurutaro Kataoka was started as a vocal modifier, became a popular actor in variety programs, and since then has been active as an actor who can play a wide range of characters, but he is also active as a painter. Earlier, I saw Tsurutaro, a lecturer of Aya Sumi painting on NHK's educational television.

In this solo exhibition, about 150 works, including unpublished works and new works, showing the trajectory of 20 years of creative activities, are exhibited. In addition to the exhibition of works, interviews with Mr. Tsurutaro's production site and painting work are also aired. The story of camellia flowers is very impressive.

The theme of this time, "60th birthday red," seems to have Tsurutaro's strong desire to make life more bloom from the 60th birthday. It seems that the goldfish was drawn as the motif of the 60th birthday red, and the latest work "Goldfish <two-piece folding screen>" is also on display.

katao2.JPGIt's a postcard I bought in commemoration. These original drawings are also on display.

The period is until September 8 (Monday). Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The last day is closed at 5 o'clock and admission is until 30 minutes before closing.

Even so, I'm interested in how I surveyed when there was no surveying machine like today.

I would like to go there, too. Nevertheless, how many days have you walked for surveying all over Japan, but I definitely want to know.

Oops, besides, experience! Let's have fun together! Experience! Let's have fun together! It is said that there is also a place.

I have to go to this! For more information, please refer to the following link. https://www.city.chuo.lg.jp/kusei/kohokotyo/koho/h26/260801/05_07/index.html

Recommendations for Free Study of Money Museum & Information on Renewal Closed

[Silver] August 22, 2014 09:00

On August 19, after visiting Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Heidai Shoran, and Nabashi Nihonbashi, we visited the Money Museum in front of the Bank of Japan with families with children during the summer vacation.

At the Money Museum, you can learn about money by displaying Japanese currency and foreign currency.

Photography inside the museum is prohibited, but it is a very useful material.

You can get printed materials such as "Currently valid banknotes", "Currently valid currency", "Koza Site and Bank of Japan", "The Origin of the yen", "Edo period money system", etc.

I was able to receive explanatory materials, and it was a great study. I think it is very useful for children's free study.

The money museum will be renewed.

The museum will be temporarily closed from December 29, 2014 to around November 2015 (planned).

For details, please refer to the website of the Currency Museum (Notice of temporary closure).

Let's meet fish at the 47th Sony Aquarium in 2014 Ginza Sony Building

[Silver] August 21, 2014 09:00

This year, at the Ginza Sony Building Deing, fish from the Churaumi Sea of Okinawa are swimming vigorously in a large outdoor tank.

I'm looking forward to it every year's tradition of Ginza. It's the 47th time this year. Thank you, Mr. Sony!

The exhibition period is from July 25 to August 31, and the time is from 11:00 to 19:00.

20140819 061.JPG

When you enter the building, you will see a large humpback whale full-size tail fin on the first floor.

Let's take a look at the real thing. And let's compare your back.

20140819 063.JPG

The leaflet I received is printed with a photo and name of "Creatures in the Outdoor Large Water Tanks".

25 kinds of fish are introduced in photos and names, so it's fun.

20140819 064.JPG

Is this yellow fish body having a big black spot?

I think the red fish on the right end is Hanagoi. Check the names of the other 23 kinds of fish in the leaflet.

Then, I hope you have a good time during the summer vacation.
