"Kojiki and Nihonshoki and Holy Land" Lecture [Mie Terrace]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 29, 2015 09:00

"Kojiki and Nihonshoki" refers to Records of ancient matters and Chronicles of Japan. Mie-Nara collaborative lecture "Kojiki and Nihonshoki and Holy Land - The Unknown Charms of Ise and Yamato" was held at Mie Terrace in Nihonbashi Muromachi 2-chome. The venue was a multi-purpose hall on the second floor of Mie Terrace.

First of all, as a keynote speech, "Kojiki and Nihonshoki and Holy Land-The Unknown Charm of Ise and Yamato-" (about 40 minutes) was held by religious anthropologist Keiji Uejima, followed by Uejima and Mika Hagi. A dialogue between "Traveling the Holy Land of Ise and Yamato" (about 1 hour) was held. Mika Hagi is an actress and serves as a national tourism ambassador for Mie.

Mr. Ueshima's story was often noticed and helpful.

This course was originally conducted as the second part of a collaborative course in three prefectures, Mie, Nara, and Shimane, where myths take root. By all means, I would like you to continue with the third and fourth issues and themes of interest to us.

By the way, the antenna shops in the three prefectures (Mie Terrace, Nihonbashi Shimanekan, Nara Mahorobakan) all face Chuo-dori (opposite Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi and Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower), all gather at Nihonbashi Muromachi 1 and 2-chome.

The photo above shows "Iga Ninja Beef Curry" and "Ninja Aerle" purchased at the first floor product sales corner of Mie Terrace, attracted to naming.

Both 100% Iga beef and Iga-style ginger carbonated drink were delicious.

Ginza Station is more and more interesting!

[Shitamachi Tom] January 28, 2015 14:00

Ginza Station scenery. jpgThe Ginza Line, the first subway in Japan, is not only a symbol of Tokyo's transportation, but also an aorta that runs through Chuo-ku. After all, the name of the route is named "Ginza" in Chuo-ku, so the familiarity will be even better.

Ginza Station is also a major base used by many people for various purposes such as business, shopping, sightseeing, transfer, etc.

Ginza Station Information Center. jpgThe new 1000 series, which has a bright yellow retro-style design on the Ginza Line, was introduced in 2012. In 2013, we received the Blue Ribbon Award for the first time in subway vehicles from the Association of Railway Friends. The number of vehicles is gradually increasing, and it is no longer unusual for yellow vehicles to cross each other at Ginza Station.

This vehicle incorporates advanced equipment such as barrier-free and LED adoption, and has a unique design on seats and doors, making it quite elaborate.

Information center brochure. jpgOn the premises of Ginza Station, there is a useful "Passenger Information Center". The Tokyo Metro is also located at Shinjuku Station, Omotesando Station, and Shibuya Station (Tourist Information Center), but the information center in Ginza, the largest downtown area in Japan, is a useful facility not only for tourists but also for ordinary customers. These four information centers are certified as Category 2 by the Japan Tourism Bureau as "Foreign Tourist Information Center". This designation indicates that at least English-speaking staff are stationed and can provide wide-area guidance. Isn't it encouraging for foreign tourists? Foreign language pamphlets are always available, so please use them when you guide your foreign friends.

Ginza Station Design Competition. jpgAnd now, a design competition is being held at Ginza Station. Proposal issues include "desirable experience at Ginza Station and the way of the station", "design proposal of a platform with functionality (one Ginza Line platform) along with the individuality of the station", "around the ticket gate that is the face of the station (Ginza Exit ticket gate and Nishi Ginza Exit ticket gate) ". We are accepting until March, so if you have high creativity skills, why not apply?

"Ginza Line" and "Ginza Station" continue to evolve even after history. It seems to be getting more and more interesting.

◆Local Tenmonkan special exhibition "Excavation of play town in Edo! "Kabuki and Archeology in Edo" is being held!

[Akira Makibuchi / Sharakusai] January 27, 2015 14:00

At the Chuo Ward Local Tenmonkan (Time Dome Akashi), a special exhibition "Edo, excavation of play town! ~ Edo Kabuki and Archeology ~ "was started on January 24 (Sat). In Chuo-ku, there was a playhouse called Edo Yoza (later Sanza) from the early Edo period. In this exhibition, distinctive materials from excavated materials from the remains of the playmachi archeological site in Sakaimachi and Fukiya-cho (currently Nihonbashi Ningyocho 3-chome) are displayed. Admission is free until March 8 (Sun). Local Tenmonkan HP Click here>>

0913_577_150124sibaimachi.jpgFrom the Edo period, Nakamura-za in Sakaimachi and Ichimura-za in Fukiya-cho were performed, and there were puppet show huts such as puppet theaters, and the area where teahouses gather around it was formed as a play town . This scene is depicted in the Edo Famous Zoukai. The archaeological site was excavated in one corner near Ichimura-za.

From the excavated materials, there are artifacts related to the play, such as wood products with ink or baked, and board materials with the word "Ichimura". Several imitation swords used for play props are also on display. The tools of the puppet show, such as the head and ankles of the puppet show, seem to be traces of the puppeteer.

From the place that seems to be the site of the teahouse, the bottom plate of a curved container marked "tea shop" has been excavated, and pottery pieces with the name of the shop are also displayed. It is unusual that a large number of high-quality products such as Nabeshima ware and colored porcelain were excavated because the teahouse was a customer service place.

There are also iron ware (kanetsuki), red boar (benichoko), bone-crafted hairpins (kanzashi), and kogami (kogai). From the ruins, remain was found, such as stone-framed sewage and sewage gutters, an underground warehouse, and an actor's bath tub or a buried basin. @ Akira Makibuchi

Fukai Nara Lecture [Nara Mahorobakan]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] January 27, 2015 09:00

At Nara Mahorobakan, located in 1-chome Nihonbashi Muromachi, a lecture introducing the charm of Nara was held, so I went on Sunday.

kojik1.JPGThe title is "Know through Literature! Lecturer is Norio Ta, Managing Director of the NPO "Nara Mahoroba Sommelier Association", in the charm of Nara-from Records of ancient matters to Kazuo Aniyoshi. The venue was on the second floor of the Nara Mahoroba Hall, which was full of full capacity.

This time, Mr. Takata featured 10 stories and novels related to Nara and introduced the charm of Nara. The works featured include "Records of ancient matters", "Nippon Reikiki", "Tenpyo no Iraki", "Tianhe Legend Murder Case", "Kao Aniyoshi", etc.

Mr. Takata's story was very interesting, and I would like to read books that I had never read, and even books I had read in the past seemed to try again.

The Nara Mahorobakan holds such courses and events at all times, and you can apply for participation by postcard, fax, Internet, etc.

kojik3.JPGOn the day of the exhibition, a panel, video, and model introducing the Omiwa-jinja Srine, with Mt. Miwa as sacred object of worship and no main hall, were exhibited in the space at the back of the first floor, entitled "Omiwa-jinja Srine: Unchanging God and People Since ancient times." By the way, this event is until January 27th.

"Living National Treasure Two Exhibition" is being held-Ginza Wako

1. January 22, 2015 09:00

A collaboration exhibition between Kiyoshi Suzuki of pottery, Takeshi Kitamura of Orimono, and Living National Treasures has begun in Ginza Wako.

100_1555.JPG

The first thing that catches your eye when you enter the venue is the combination of a wind furnace folding screen named "Takase River" and a Shino tea bowl. The Akane color of the transparent text, which is restored from the technique of the phantom "Luo", which is considered to be the thinest in human history completed in the previous Han era, is perfect for the warm milky white color of the Shino tea bowl. How wonderful would it be if we could have a tea ceremony with such a luxurious combination! Both of them are so renowned in each field that they do not need to be introduced, but according to Haruzo Hayashiya, who supervised this exhibition, `` The 14th generation Kakiemon who died about two years ago It was triggered by the suggestion of "Let's do something interesting to commemorate the umbrella Kotobuki." When I look at the tea bowl with a very sharp shape even though Mr. Suzuki is so tight, I am excited that if tea enters inside, it will look like it will shine. It is not a price that I can easily purchase, so it seems that I have to ask for "lottery", but if I thought "If you just show me, you will have plenty of time", it seems that there was too much "I want" aura I was asked, "How is it?" Mr. Kitamura's band has already been sold out. In addition, there are works such as lacerations, shaku, fukusa, hanging scrolls, vases, plates, orientations and inscription plates. "The world of pottery and weaving is perfectly harmonized in modern life" (Wako-san's guide), according to Hayashiya-sensei's words, "Suzuki-san's Shino is constantly challenging for ideals." "I can only think that Kitamura's heart and hand are magical," "The work of two people with solitary skills" will look at the precious living treasure that can be seen.

From January 25th (Sun) Wako Hall 6F Ginza Wako Main Building 10:30 to 19:00 (until 17:00 on the last day)

"Vermeer Hikari Kingdom Exhibition 2015" @ Nihonbashi Muromachi

[Nojinya] January 20, 2015 12:00

On Saturday afternoon, I went to the "Vermeer Hikari Kingdom Exhibition 2015" held in Nihonbashi Muromachi. In this exhibition, you can see the works of Johannes Vermeer (J. Vermeer: 1632-1675), a popular 17th-century Dutch painter in Japan, but I would like to take a closer look at Vermeer's works that I saw at the State Museum of Amsterdam during my previous trip to the Netherlands.

[Mauritz Highs Museum]

Hague B.jpgThis exhibition was planned in 2012 by Shinichi Fukuoka, a professor at Aoyama Gakuin University (molecular biology) who has also seen Vermeer's originals around the world, and then returned to Japan (Nagoya, Matsuyama, Hiroshima, Nagano, etc.) at 6-chome Ginza from January to July 2012, and then went back to 2 post 0.7 0.7 0 in 1 years.

[Painting Art

Painting Art B.jpgThis exhibition is not a moving exhibition of Vermeer's original painting to Japan, but an appreciation of "Re Create Works". According to the commentary on the exhibition, "Re Create" is a digital analysis of the original image data provided by the "Vermeer Center" in Delft, the Netherlands, where Vermeer's hometown, and is reproduced using digital printing technology. Unlike photo reproductions, it is a special canvas with state-of-the-art digital printing, so in some cases, it is possible to faithfully reproduce the colors and textures of the time that Vermeer drew at the time, rather than the originals in museums in Hague and Amsterdam. While being fooled by "Re Create", you can see all 37 Vermeer's works at once at the exhibition in Nihonbashi Muromachi.

[The woman sitting in front of the Virginal]

Virginal LDN.JPGEven though I am a Vermeer fan, I have met directly with some works in museums in Den Hague, Amsterdam, London, Washington, and New York in the past, but in fact, I would like to see all things like Mr. Fukuoka and Mr. Yuriko Kuchiki, the author of the All-Pointed Journey of Vermeer (Shueisha Shinsho) in Paris, the Netherlands, and elsewhere.

[A girl with pearl earrings]

A girl with pearl earrings B.jpg

In addition, Vermeer's works are owned by individuals and are not open to the public, and some of them have been stolen from museums in Boston and are still unknown, but can be seen all at this exhibition.

In addition, since it is currently displayed in separate museums, the commonality of the model of painting that can be seen by comparing and comparing paintings of the same theme at the same time, and the supporting role of people I enjoyed a luxurious appreciation opportunity, such as new discoveries about props such as world maps and musical instruments used as After the exhibition, you can receive discounts and other services by presenting an admission ticket for the exhibition at nearby COREDO (Muromachi 1-3, Nihonbashi) and Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower restaurants. I was hungry after the exhibition, so I had dinner at COREDO Muromachi 2 shop, but I hope we can report that story to you separately.
