We visited "Night Party of Gallery" held on May 27.
It is a fun project in which 24 galleries from Ginza 4-chome to 8-chome will open from evening to night, and each will be entertained with a variety of exhibitions.
I was really looking forward to it because I was participating for the first time this year.
Walk through Ginza at dusk while watching the participating gallery MAP.
It is very easy to understand because the landmark Japanese lantern is lit in front of the gallery.
This is Tokyo Gallery + BTAP.
"Masunobu Yoshimura, Ushio Shinohara, Nobuaki Kojima" exhibition is being held.
In the pure white room, works created in the 1960s and 1980s were exhibited, and the energy of those days seemed to be transmitted.
Some are made of nostalgic microwave ovens
At Shiseido Gallery, "Tsubakikai Exhibition 2016-Beginner-" is being held.
Various works such as drawings, installations, and photographs are on display.
Rei Naito's small and delicate work was very impressive.
This table is the work "zine Table" by Ryoko Aoki.
This is a work in which people who come to see freely rearrange the pages, make a single zine (booklet) and take it home.
Even when I went home, I could enjoy the lingering of the exhibition, and I thought it was a very wonderful attempt.
Kuroda Toen is located on Chuo-dori.
The light of Japanese lantern was very nice.

On May 21st (Saturday), I saw the east at Shimbashi Enbujo.
Higashidori is a traditional performance that Shimbashi Hanayanagikai performs once a year, celebrating its 92nd anniversary this year. At first glance, you can get a glimpse of the Hanayanagi world, which usually refuses. I was really looking forward to it.
In a nutshell, it was "glamorous, beautiful, and cool." I'd like to go again.
This year's schedule is for four days from May 19 (Thu) to 21 (Sun). There were two performances on weekdays and three on Saturdays and Sundays, and what I saw was the first Saturday. It was almost full and I felt how high my interest in traditional culture was.
The performance starts at 11:30 and you can enter from 11:00. In the lobby from the basement to the second floor You can buy related souvenirs, and on the second floor there are Don Perinion Bouths and Docha seats. You can enjoy the atmosphere of the Hanayanagi world. I have a matcha tea in front of a geisha at a tea ceremony. I had some sweets made from Toraya.
In addition, advance reservations are required, but Rokuryotei (Tokyo Yoshicho, Shinkiraku, Kanada Naka, Matsuyama, Yonemura, etc.) You can enjoy the taste of Yamane, wanofu at once, "Shokado Bento" (Tokyo Yoshicho, menu) You can also get it at the underground dining room "East" (decoration of Shinkiraku). (Next time, I would like to try this too.)
These events in the lobby can be enjoyed 30 minutes before the stage and 30 minutes before the intermission.
By the way, as for the stage, this year, under the theme of "Shimbashi Farmtajia" Mr. Jusuke Hanayagi was in charge of the overall production.
The first half is "Plum Spring" and "Umbrella exhaustion", and the second half is "Kumikyoku Kasazukushi" with the intermission. Following "Koi no Tsujizori", it becomes the finale after mouth.
The stage where the decoration of the back harmonizes between the cube (Tatakata / Dance) and the region (Jikata / Song / Shamisen) is the stage where the decoration of the back is in harmony. It has a magical power that makes you want to see again when you actually see and feel it.
The first half of the performance had the impression of "glamorous" with emphasis on color, and the second half was black and calm. The impression of "tradition" based on color, and I think both were wonderful.
I saw the east for the first time this time, but I feel that I was able to touch something really good. It was a fulfilling day.

Then, in order to enjoy the east more, those who have had preliminary knowledge about Shimbashi Hanayanagi world. I think it's good. For example, ・It seems that Shimbashi Hanayagikai started as a gold spring geisha at the end of the Edo period. ・From the end of the Tokugawa period to the Meiji period, it developed greatly as Shimbashi Hanamachi due to the favor of key figures. In particular, it was a first-class flower district called "Gei no Shimbashi" with an emphasis on improving arts. ・The name of the bridge over the Shiodome River (old) was "Shimbashi", so it was "Shimbashi Hanayanagikai". The place is the whole area from Ginza to Tsukiji. ・The restaurants that make up the Hanayagi world are scattered around theater to Tsukiji. The number of the geisha is on the street at Ginza 8-chome. ・Shimbashi Geisha was a fashion leader in Ginza from the Taisho era to the Showa era. They actively used long-established products that remain in the neighborhood of Shiseido and Ginza 8-chome. It was well known
There are a lot of interesting history and episodes.

The Tokyo Minato Festival was held on a grand scale again this year.
Ships that I rarely see were being shown. This is the minesweeper "Tsushima"
Another correspondent has already written an article, so I'm very excited now.
There was also content that children could enjoy, so I will report a little bit.
"I want to get on the train poppo," she said.
A child who moves up and down with rubber and is very pleased with space swimming.
Click here for children who like dancing.
Please refer to the following.
By the time after 15:30 on the day, foods such as fried chicken at the stalls were half price sale.
I was very grateful to the family who came out late.
There were also couples who made souvenirs.
"I hope it will be held again in Harumi next year."

The gallery night party was held grandly on May 27, 2016. I would like to report the night view and atmosphere.
This year's night tour of the gallery started at Yasushiyama Gallery in Higashiginza, and enjoyed the works of 15 galleries, from the gallery in Ginza 5-chome. (The title is abbreviated.)
Every year, Yasushiyama Gallery introduces works by young artists. I met my expectations again this year. The acquaintances of the writer praised the work.
At Shiminedo Gallery, I missed works depicting computer games and toy pistols.
At Ginza Kuroda Toen, we made a plant called "Protea" into pottery. The turnips on display next to them are wonderful on a large tatami mat.
The plant-colored pottery seemed to be able to be used in the vase as it was, and it was very nice.
In Hanada Art's "Yoshitaka Kuroiwa Exhibition-Drawing a Refreshing Wind", I felt like I visited Oze in early summer.
Gallery Hayashi's "Noriyoshi Sakaguchi Glass Painting Exhibition" drew a picture on the back of the glass and contained it on a picture frame. It was colorful and looked like the stage of a romantic novel I saw in the past.
At Kobayashi Gallery, Chichi Tanaka's work was pasted on a tote bag called GINZA GALLERIES. Walking around the streets of Ginza will be more fun.
In this event, writers and painters will explain their work, which will deepen their understanding of the work.
"Omotegen"'s store arrangement on Kojunsha Street is like a work of art on a picture frame.
This shop is based on the concept of "making paintings-light-thinking", and exhibits hanging scrolls and Japanese painting in the shop using soft light-light. He spotted "light = proof" when watching paintings, and taught me tips for lighting that makes them look high-class and beautiful like a gallery at home.
For galley. It's nice to see only from outside! Paul Ispiri Memorial Exhibition was being held.
At the Ginza Yanagi Gallery, the "Ebihara Rogon Exhibition" was held, and he explained using photographs how the work was changed from the state he just wrote, such as paper and the ink he was using. Many people were convinced that "Fumufumu". We had a delicious wine and canape.
At the Nichido Gallery, the storefront hydrangea was beautiful and bloomed like celebrating the night party in the gallery. After seeing the wonderful work, we had a delicious wine.
Some of the people who went around the gallery and met many times were elegant wives who came to Osaka all the way.
"Ginza Gallery Tour" and "Ginza Night Party", which are wonderful and enriched, are fun events.

"The cat is a little lion. The Lion is a big cat."
Indeed, this is the perfect catchphrase for this photo exhibition, and the photo exhibition "Neko Lion" by animal photographer Mitsuaki Iwago is being held.
The location is the 7th floor gallery of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, Main Building and New Building.
The period is from Wednesday, May 25 to Monday, June 6.
Cats live in harmony with our human lives, and the Lion is called the King of Beasts and lives in the wild world as unrelated to humans.
They are of the same cat family, but their size and life are different, but they are somewhat similar.
Mr. Iwai cut out a moment "somewhere similar" and showed us.
The exhibition method that shows two cats and lions, one by one, "somewhere similar" moments are wonderful.
In this photo exhibition "Neko Lion", about 200 cats () that coexist with humans captured by Iwago and lions living in the wild are exhibited as works.

Koami Shrine, located between Nihonbashi and Ningyocho, will be celebrating tomorrow and Reitaisai festival.
Unfortunately, it was bad weather today, but many worshiper came from 9:00 a.m. and received a special class of Chinese zodiac Ema.
Up to two kinds, one per person. The number is limited.
In the rain of the sideways, there is also a performance in Kagura Hall.
And! This year's Reitaisai festival, tomorrow, Miya portable shrine will run around the town for the first time in 10 years!
A mikoshi waiting for tomorrow's turn.
Originally, imperial procession was once every five years, but five years ago it was not done because of the Great East Japan Earthquake. That's why it's a 10-year-old look. We pray for a good imperial procession to offer safe prayers to those affected by the disaster.
Koami Shrine will celebrate its 550th anniversary this year. It was built at the end of the North and South Dynasty! Michio Ota, the founder of Edo, has a strong religion, and is now counted as the Seven Lucky Gods of Nihonbashi (Fukurokuju, Benzaiten), and is gaining popularity among young people as a power spot for improving fortune and eliminating bad luck.
It was during the war that Koami Shrine became widely known in protection against misfortune. The people who went out with the talisman of this shrine were able to return safely. And he escaped the war in the Great Air Raid. From these, it came to be worshiped as a god of good luck evil. Also, even in the Great Kanto Earthquake before that, when Miyashi evacuated to Shinohashi with his body, many people who were in the same place were saved, so it was said that it was the virtue of Koami Shrine.
In the precincts, Chozubachi, which was burned down by the Great Kanto Earthquake, is still active.
By the way, Koami Shrine is famous for its unique and wonderful products, but it is also famous for its award.
This is "Mayutama Mikuji". ↓
Omikuji is in the real eyebrows. It is lucky items, which suffered from the vitality of silkworms, and it is cool because many are connected to the precincts. It seems that you can take it home and use it as a talisman.
On the precincts, there is also a "Senrai no Ii", which is familiar under the name of Tokyo Senarai Benten. Please purify your coins and bills. It seems that if you put it in your wallet as it is, you will be able to get fortune!
Koami Shrine is filled with a lot of culture and history in a small precinct. If you want to get rid of luck, go to Reitaisai festival tomorrow! Please take a look at Miya carrying of miniature shrines for the first time in 10 years. Of course, don't forget shrine hall's "rise dragon" and "drain dragon"! It is a dragon that controls "good luck."
