Corporate Environmental Activities Exhibition [Chuo Ward Environmental Information Center]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 17, 2018 16:00

squar201801.JPG

The Chuo Ward Environmental Information Center is located in the Kyobashi Environmental Station on the 6th floor of Tokyo Square Garden, an environmentally friendly office building located at the intersection of Kyobashi 3-chome, Chuo-dori and Kajibashi Street.

squar201802.JPG

In the exhibition space here, "Corporate Environmental Activity Exhibition-Let's see CSR and CSV activities of companies in Chuo-ku-" is currently being held.

squar201803.JPG

The period is from Thursday, February 1 to 27 (Tue), and the time is from 9:00 to 21:00.

squar201804.JPG

Here, we introduce environmental initiatives and CSR / CSV activities of companies with offices in Chuo-ku.

At the introduction corner for each company, specific activities are explained on the board in an easy-to-understand manner.

Here, activities presentations by organizations registered with the Environmental Information Center are also held regularly.

squar201805.JPG

Incidentally, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) refers to corporate social responsibility, which not only makes profits, maintains dividends, and complies with laws and regulations, but also provides appropriate employment and working conditions that take into account human rights, and consumers. Refers to the responsibilities that a company should fulfill as a citizen, such as responding appropriately to environmental issues, and contributing to local communities.

squar201806.JPG

On the other hand, CSV (Creating Shared Value) is translated as "common value" or "shared value", and is a differentiation strategy that leads to the sustainable growth of the company by solving social issues with our strengths.

squar201807.JPG

The difference between CSR and CSV seems to be that CSR is an image of defensive, while CSV is an offensive image. CSV is a perspective that leverages the strengths of a company and solves social problems as a business based on the principle of capitalism.

Yuki Kawato Exhibition [Megumi Ogita Gallery]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 16, 2018 18:00

kawato201801.JPG

At the Megumi Ogita Gallery, located on the first basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building (map below, red) in Ginza 2-chome, Yuki Kawado's exhibition "American Rat-style Character Parade" is being held.

kawato201800.jpg

The period is from Friday, February 9 to 24 (Sat).

The time is from 11:00 to 19:00 and closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays.

This is the first time that Mr. Kawato's exhibition has been held at this gallery.

kawato201802.JPG

"American mouse-style character" is that () character that everyone knows well.

kawato201804.JPG

The parade scenery of the characters is enjoyed by embroidery.

If you look closely, you can see clearly, but the fineness and concentration of this embroidery are tremendous.

You can feel the power put in each needle.

kawato201805.JPG

Although the composition is simple, Kawato's original "rat-style", "duck-style" and "inu-style" characters are vividly and powerfully expressed.

kawato201806.JPG

All the texts in the commentary are also expressed by embroidery.

kawato201807.JPG

It is said that this exhibition was created when Mr. Kawato was used to express embroidery, and this expression method is not currently taken, and in that sense, it is a valuable opportunity.

kawato201808.JPG

In addition, we received your consent for photography in the gallery, and explained the work.

Thank you very much

There is a bird watching party in Tsukuda on February 18th.

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] February 15, 2018 12:00

A bird watching event will be held on February 18th. This is the third year of this year, an observation event started with local enthusiasts. Rabbit was inspired by this observation party, and became absorbed in observing wild birds. That's because Chuo-ku is a city in the city, but by regenerating nature, I was strongly convinced that it could coexist with nature.

Water birds that are wintering near Ishikawajima Park now include mallard, Eurasian wigeon, Oban, Hoshihajiro and tufted duck.

northern pintail, etc. jpg

What kind of birds can you meet at the observation party? Early, and in a month later, the birds who came in October will return to Siberia after wintering.

By all means, please take this opportunity to meet the birds who chose the Sumida River in Chuo-ku during wintering. Usako will guide you.

"Mitsui Family Hina" Exhibition

[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo] February 15, 2018 09:00

Setsubun, the day before spring, the turning point from winter to spring, has passed.

I think there are many people who have driven away demons in bean-throwing ceremony, turned to Eho, and ate a single thick sushi roll to wish sound health.

Now, next is the time of the peach festival in Hinamatsuri on March 3rd, which is held to pray for the health and happiness of girls.

At the Mitsui Museum of Art, as usual, during the period when the "Mitsui Family's Hina-sama" was capitalized in Kyoto (Heian-kyo 794-1868), it was mainly decorated from Hina doll to Meiji period, which was sold here at 10 shops in Nihonbashi (now around 3-chome Muromachi).

Although not shown in the photo here, the sight of a set of chicks displayed on the hinadan reminds us of the elegant court of the Heian period. If you look at this, it may be an opportunity to regain the tranquility of your mind.

In addition, tea utensils are also on display, and the Rakuchawan has a pleasant shape to watch at any time.

Noh costumes, Noh masks, frowned women in the Muromachi period, etc., lieutenant, and scarlet masks are on display.

Masato Sakuma Exhibition "City of Prayer of Cats" [Gallery Ginza]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 14, 2018 18:00

sakuma201801.JPG

At the gallery Ginza 2-chome gallery, "Gallery Ginza", a solo exhibition by Masato Sakuma, "Cat Prayer Todoku Town" is currently being held.

sakuma201802.JPG

The gallery is located on the 2nd floor on the map below.

sakuma201800.jpg

The event period is from February 12 (Monday / holiday) to February 18 (Sun).

The time is from 11am to 7pm, and the last day is until 5pm.

sakuma201803.JPG

Mr. Sakuma has drawn many picture books, books, magazines, illustrations and illustrations of CD jackets and advertisements, and when he looks at the work, he thinks that "I've seen somewhere" should be.

sakuma201804.JPG

Works depicting retro-modern scenery that can be called Sakuma World are lined up.

sakuma201805.JPG

It depicts a color that invites nostalgia, a space like a completely different world that seems to have seen in the past, so you can immerse yourself in a quiet viewing time.

sakuma201806.JPG

Sakuma's work seems to be in the process of processing what was drawn with a pen with a computer and finally coloring it by hand. You can feel the warmth of the colored parts with uneven coloring.

sakuma201807.JPG

The buildings and trams depicted by Mr. Sakuma in his work seem to feel more old because of the atmosphere of the buildings that used to be built in Chuo-ku and the trains that ran.

sakuma201808.JPG

On the other hand, he also works on the binding of a series of detective novels, and works with a completely different atmosphere are also exhibited.

Please drop in to immerse yourself in Sakuma World.

The photographing in the gallery was specially approved by the person himself.

Thank you very much
