Currently, at Megumi Ogita Gallery, Yukako Sorai's solo exhibition "Archaelque" is being held.
Megumi Ogita Gallery is a quiet and calm gallery located on the first basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building 2-16-12 Ginza.
It's the place in red on the map below.
The event will be held from Friday, July 13 to July 28 (Sat), with days, Mondays and public holidays.
Opening hours are from 11:00 to 19:00.
When I visited this exhibition, I am surprised that the material of the work is felt.
Is it more accurate to say that you are surprised by the amazing processing (technique) of the felt, rather than being surprised by the felt?
Mr. Sorai has been fascinated by the fun of the animal movement of wool since he was a student, and has been producing works with felt.
After layering and thickening the felt, the colors and shapes lurking in the back are revealed by hand, drilling holes, taking advantage of the regularity and distortion of the cross section, and making use of the color and shape hidden in the back.
The works on display are those that seem to be motifs of pots and pots around us, those that make you feel life like plants and cells, and those that make you feel the spread of the universe, etc. It is expressed by the sensitivity of Sorai.
This is an uplift of the work above.
They are on display at the venue and make you feel a mysterious presence.
Indeed, it seemed that Sorai's view of the world (the view of space) was expressed by felt and fiber, and I was overwhelmed that it was amazing.
With regard to photography in the gallery, I received your consent, and I heard from the person himself about his passion for the technique in the production process and felt as a means of expression.
Thank you very much

At the gallery "Gallery Ginza" in Ginza 2-chome, an exhibition of fizz glasses "Miyajima Glass Studio Fizz Glass and Light Exhibition" is being held.
The venue will be on the second floor, up the stairs on the left side toward the building.
The event will be held from Tuesday, July 17 to July 23 (Monday).
The event is held from 10 am to 7 pm, but please note that the last day of the 23rd is until 4 pm.
This exhibition is a two-person exhibition by Mitsufumi Yokota and Masuko.
"Miyajima Glass Studio Fizz Glass" is a workshop for fizzgrass in Itsukushima (commonly known as Miyajima) in Hiroshima Prefecture, where Itsukushima-jinja Shrine registered with UNESCO World Cultural Heritage is located.
Unlike blowing glass, fizz glass is said to confine air particles in the glass in the process of baking and producing glass like baking pottery.
The fizz glass "fizz" is Jinfiz's fizz. It is an image of a bubble with shoeshoe, shwashwa and bubbles.
At the venue, works such as lampshades, chopstick rests, brooches, earrings, pierced earrings, and banddome are exhibited.
The transparent glass works of glass and beautiful colored glass stand out in the natural light that shines into the venue on the second floor.
The color of the glass through the light bulb of the lamp shade is warm and gentle.
While explaining, the "Earth Ball" (produced by Masuko, the blue ball on the postcard below) that I forgot to take a picture also emits deep colors in blue and blue when exposed to light.
The glass with air bubbles trapped in the fizz glass is very cool and makes you forget the heat outdoors for a while.
Please stop by once.
In addition, we received your consent for the photography in the gallery, and also gave a careful explanation of the production process of the work.
Thank you very much

A work exhibition by pastel writer Shonoro Yamanaka is being held at St. Luke's First Gallery on the first floor of the main building of St. Luke's International Hospital in Akashicho.
It is "Shonoro Yamanaka's work exhibition: Nyan One, familiar animals drawn with pastels-"
This is the 32nd (), which is exactly the annual exhibition of St. Luke's Gallery.
The period is from Monday, July 16 to 21 (Sat).
Please note that the time is from 9:00 to 17:00, but the last day is from 10:00 to 16:00.
Even though it says "Nyan One Familiar Animals", Yamanaka's exhibition is the work depicting the cat of "Nyan".
I can't say anything about the expression and pose of the cat drawn, it's natural, cute, and cute.
The touch of pastel painting brushes and pen drawing conveys the cat's facial expressions and poses very realistically and gently.
We recommend that you see works drawn up to each hair one by one with your own eyes up close.
It's just a work that is healed by looking at it.
In addition, regarding the photography in the gallery, the person himself consented and gave a careful explanation of the work as usual.
Thank you very much

There are various events in each region in Chuo-ku.
I think that festivals held at many shrines and various events held by Chuo-ku and related organizations are popular with many people.
On the other hand, there are places in each town where town associations and residents' associations play a central role in holding their own events. Because it is something that can not be done without the connection of the community, it can be said that it can be said to be one of the proofs of the regional power of Chuo-ku.
Most of the events organized by the town council can be easily participated, so if you have an event you are worried about, or if you see it by passing, please take a look once.
On July 15 (Sun), a local event "Tsukiji Yoshikono Festival" hosted by Tsukiji Town Residents' Association was held at Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School. . This is an annual event that has already been counted 44 times. I've heard that many children are looking forward to this day. The children who participated will be presented with souvenirs without exception. The heat was growing, and shaved ice was distributed at the food corner.
Police and fire departments provided advice and traffic guidance to children celebrating summer vacation, and residents' association officers set up a food corner and a fair corner to enliven the atmosphere. The cheers of the children echoed.
Although it was under the hot sun on a hot day, it was a very meaningful day as a place for many people to interact. It is scheduled to be held again next year. Please come by all means. I'll be waiting for you.
