Tsukiji Honganji Cafe TSUMUGI - Tsukiji Honganji Information Center

Since its opening on November 8th, I took a look at the information center, which has already become a popular spot in Tsukiji with many exposures such as newspapers and TVs. As soon as you leave Tsukiji Station, a new building is built in front of the main hall. The bright entrance of the first floor with glass is a corner dealing with cafe TSUMUGI and one-stroke notes and incense. In the back of the cafe, a photo exhibition of "Honanji 400 Years" is being held, and photographs of those days are displayed in chronological order. When I asked for permission to shoot, I was thrilled with a smiling response saying "Please help me." First of all, it is a fairly spacious space with about 50 to 60 seats in the cafe. I'm surprised to see the menu. Several herbal teas with original blends named Japanese tea and Peppin tea, original drinks using tea, coffee, and several sweets and shaved ice! 。 There are everything from breakfast set to lunch table and pasta. It's a lineup that conveys the seriousness of Mr. Honganji. The "breakfast rice porridge set" with 18 kinds of side dishes seemed to be popular and delicious, but this is until 11 o'clock. I heard a voice saying, "Do you have any more?"

When I asked the service, it was said that this menu was introduced on TV. The requested "Kishu Bincho charcoal charcoal grilled coffee" (580 yen extra) was accompanied by a cute hourglass and was explained, "Please eat after 3 minutes." If you like shaved ice, I asked, "Is there all year round?", "I'm planning so far. I'll be waiting for you next time," he replied.

100_2567.JPGNext, I took a look at the book center on the second floor. It seems that there are nearly 3,000 points in the center of Buddhist books. Certainly there may be demand to collect only Buddhism-related books. It is a wide range of items from "Tanmusho" to Kaoru Takamura's "Kukai", English Buddhist commentary, and fairy tales. I purchased "Tanmusho" with commentary and "I understand Buddhism well in super easy English". "Hanwakayu" is Wisdom Water. It seems that some people say, "This can be used."

At night's cafe, you can enjoy alcohol while looking at the illuminated main hall.

The predecessor of Tsukiji Honganji Temple, Asakusa Mido, was founded in 1617 (1617) near Yokoyamacho. It was burned down by the great fire of the Meiryaku era (Meiji 3rd year 1657), and in 1679 (1679), Mido was completed in Tsukiji ("Tsukiji Gobo"). It was damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake and rebuilt in 1934 as an ancient Indian-style stone building. In 2014 (2014), main hall, gateposts (main gate, north gate, south gate), and stone walls were designated as heavy sentences. I'm a little bit confusing. (From "Chuo-ku Fun Encyclopedia")

Next time, I would like to enter by 11:00 and try the "Okayu Set". The number of best cafes has increased during a walk in Tsukiji.

Nihonbashi Toyamakan A wonderful handicraft-making sake

[Silver] Nov. 17, 2017 09:00

 Yes, the place is Nihonbashi.

Nihonbashi Toyamakan is located very close to the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi New Building and Daiei Fudosan, and close to the square on the road front.

On the first floor, a number of crafts and folk crafts that Toyama Prefecture is proud of are exhibited and sold.

Today, in the square of "Nihonbashi Road Mark" which came to Nihonbashi from Kanda.

"I'm a little thirsty. Would you like to drink sake? "A wonderful sister, Masaji, and the other four, who responded to my suggestion, went to Nihonbashi Toyamakan.

I've visited several times, but this is my first time to drink sake here.

I felt like the "Sugitama" that young sake was made and informed that it had arrived.

Delicious sake made from the clear stream water of the Kurobe River and delicious rice from Toyama are available.

My husbands (sorezore) look at the labels such as Ginme and daiginjo, and are wondering which one to drink.

This is the correct and (&) fun process of "handi sake". Everyone was convinced and impressed by the sake they ordered.

At the end of Nihonbashi, I stopped and took a break. Enjoy the sake of good sake and relax in Nihonbashi.

Completed the Tsukiji Honganji Information Center directly connected to Exit 1 of Tokyo Metro Tsukiji Station

[Silver] Nov. 13, 2017 14:00

The information center of Tsukiji Honganji was completed on November 8th.

Every day, a lot of believers stop by before and after the visit.

It was directly connected to Exit 1 of Tokyo Metro Tsukiji Station to make it convenient to return home from the center.

In collaboration with Tokyo Metro, I'm really happy to take care of getting out of the ticket gate at Tsukiji Station, getting up by elevator, and getting back and forth with the information center in a wheelchair.

In the information center, there is a terrace on the rooftop, so you can enjoy a good view.

It's exactly like "lighting" our bright path.

At the "Honganji Edo Gobo 400 Years of Ayumi" exhibition, you can learn about the history of the construction of the current main hall after the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era in the Edo period, after the Meiji and Taisho Great Earthquakes.

On the first floor, "cafe solare Tsumugi" offers not only delicious tea confections but also meals. At OFFICAL SHOP, you can get original goods unique to Tsukiji Honganji.

"Japanese cuisine Shisui", TEA LOUNGE, and accommodation facilities at Daiichi Dentsu Kaikan are available as before. It has become more and more fun to visit Tsukiji Honganji.

Lunch menus are ¥ 1,000, each of which consists of chicken Junjuntamago Tojidon + miso soup, pickles, sour soup noodles + pickles. The Oomi Ichiju Sansai set meal is ¥1200. Oomi beef set meal + small bowl, pickles and miso soup are ¥2,800.

I'm looking forward to the next meal.

The view outside from the restaurant is wonderful. The cars traveling around Eitai-dori St. and Chuo-dori are good scenery for people. The photo shows the scenery where you can see Meibashi Nihonbashi.
