Castella and Mr. Bunmeido

Castella was introduced to the Spanish "Sweets of the Kingdom of Castilian" and was introduced to Nagasaki, which was thriving as a port of Nanban trade in the 16th century.

Bunmeido was founded in Nagasaki, Kyushu in 1900.

As you all know, Nagasaki prospered as the only trading port with Western Europe during the Edo period when Japan was isolated.

Bunmeido spread castella grown in Nagasaki from Portugal, Spain, as Japanese sweets.

Confectionery made with scrutinized materials and the skills of skilled craftsmen.

Mr. Bunmeido will deliver the deliciousness created from it with sincerity.

It is Bunmeido's desire to add color to the moment of relaxation, which has been handed down since its founding.

Everything is for the customer's smile. I will continue to do this.

Tsukiji Out-of-site, year-end purchase 2019

[Shiba Inu] January 29, 2019 14:00

It is a topic that has just changed the year and is too early, but it is an introduction of the end-of-year purchase at Tsukiji Outer Market. It seems that there are many people who want to go but do not understand well, so it is easy, but we will deliver the situation of the site and how to enjoy it.

P1030168.png

The date is 12/30. There are plenty of items on sale, from seafood, meat, seaweed, roast beef, kejan and chestnut kinton, a restaurant purveyor to daily necessities. Each store opens around 5 o'clock in the morning, so you can move quickly if you go out of the hall just before and grab the intuition of each street while wandering around. The actual outside is not so big. There are a lot of shops there.

P1030141.png

It is very crowded after the sun rises, so we recommend the time from early morning to sunrise. You don't have to worry about selling out. Also, there is a mysterious uplift that a large number of people are on the market during this time. It's fun to come to Yokai's night market. There is a parking lot, but it's congested, so it might be better to leave to get there early or ask a driver.

P1030152.png

In addition to the purchase, there are also pleasures of eat-in. There are a wide variety of things such as Kuansu sushi and ramen at dawn. The complex Tsukiji Fish Bank Restaurant Floor is open at 7:00 in the morning. There is also a delicious shop here!

P1030174.png

Every egg-yaki shop is a large line of prosperity, but there are shops that can be bought early in the morning even if you don't make a reservation. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes to line up. As expected, the shop is also quick! The 100 yen egg skewers are sold normally.

P1030177.png

At present, the hall is completely closed and cannot be entered. Until last year, I was free to enter and exit, and I was able to see the sunrise rising to Tokyo Bay from the hall.

P1030135.png

It is not recommended for those who are not good at crowded places because there are many crowds, but if you go early, you can enjoy watching around without stress. After shopping, I think it would be refreshing to go home after watching the sunrise rising at Namiki Inari Shrine, Kachidokibashi, Tsukiji Honganji, etc.

P1030180.png

As mentioned above, it was a simple and rush, but it was an introduction of the year-end purchase at Tsukiji Outer Market. Please come and visit us at the end of 2019. It's fun!

[Leave the best moment] “Akarui Photo Studio” (Nihonbashiodenmacho)

[Dye] January 21, 2019 09:00

It's a new year.
As a personal matter, I was able to send the last New Year's card in Heisei with wonderful photos.

My son has reached Shichigosan, but I wanted to cherish Shichigosan, a 5-year-old one for a long time, so I wanted to worship properly and leave a perfect photo.
And a photographer who secretly admired that it would be best if they could take a picture came to Nihonbashiodenmacho.

This is Akinori Ikeda of the photo office "Yukai".

While working on the daily calendar `` Hiruko Nichichi, which makes it easier to live '' and `` Rejoicing Mai Nichihifumin '', as well as official Momokuro pamphlets, he has a deep connection with the Kanda area and is widely active. I am.

I put Hiruko's daily calendar at work and at home, and turn around every day, but Mr. Hiruko's expression (especially at the boat racetrack) was exquisite and very good atmosphere, so what kind of person was taken I wondered if it was done and knew Mr. Ikeda's name.
That's the first time I wanted to know who shot it.

But I was wondering if a photographer who was so famous that he photographed a celebrity would take a personal shot....
It was possible! !

"Akarui Photo Studio"
https://akarui-studio.com/
(There is an application form on this website.)

We can ask four photographers, including Dr. Ikeda, to shoot.
Please send me a lot of photos with high image quality data, and give me a simple and cute "light album" and a print (2L size, with mount) of the photos selected by the photographer.
You can also ask for framed and acrylic processing separately.

s54_07.jpg s54_06.jpg

I don't get ink on a regular album because the mount is petaped.
"Akari Album" can be written because the mount is special!

s54_14.jpg s54_13.jpg
A sample in a bright photo studio. The picture is too good!
You can make your own album freely.

The number of photos you can get is very large.
You can't get a photo unless you print it in ordinary studio shootings, but you can't get a photo.
At the "Akari Photo Studio", almost all of the photos I took were given data.

Also, there was a folder called "Memories Photo", and I was glad that it contained the shooting.
When I thought, "Oh, something is good now," and when I returned home, I took a picture without hesitation.

s54_02.jpg s54_10.jpg
Two of the "memories photos" I took.

Every photo was too good, and I was very worried about which one to choose for New Year's cards and prints.

On the day of the shooting, my son was illuminated in his first dress, illuminated and whimsical fully opened, and he couldn't stand alone in front of the camera without leaving me....
There are seventy-five-three, right?...Laugh)

The completed photo was "Is there any such time? ? "Is it contained a number of the best moments that I couldn't even understand?
And in each photo, I felt that the daily state and relationship of our parents and children were very well oozing out.

In addition, we are shy with parents and children, and in such a case, it is almost always hardened in the state of a cat borrowed, but at the `` Akari Photo Studio '', despite the first meeting and short time, I relaxed and laughed at it and enjoyed it.

s54_08.jpg s54_03.jpg
A waiting room that is fashionable and somewhat exciting. There was also a treasure chest with lots of interesting things.

Mr. Ikeda and the staff were all friendly and relaxed, and my feelings became lighter, and I think that I was really able to play with a camera.
Hiruko must have been the same~

You can see the photos taken at the Akari Photo Studio on Instagram and Facebook, but all of them feel like they are pulling out the essence that they have at that time and packing them quickly.
In addition, I felt like "life is light!"

Birthday, anniversary, wedding, birth of child, Shichigosan, entrance ceremony, graduation ceremony, coming-of-age ceremony...
There are other milestones for each person, but I think we can leave the best figure at that time.

It was a good memory including shooting, and it was really good to ask the "Akari Photo Studio" for a commemorative photo.
I recommend it!

Hamarikyu from Tsukiji Ohashi

[kimitaku] January 17, 2019 09:00

Cross Tsukiji Ohashi from the left bank and from the middle, you can see Hamarikyu on your right when you look at the Sumida River. The distant view of Hamarikyu, which can not be seen from Kachidokibashi or from the boat.

kimitaku3_20181220.jpg

kimitaku2_20181220.jpg

I just heard the whistle of the pleasure boat entering the departure and arrival point of Hamarikyu.

As you proceed along the Tsukiji Ohashi Bridge, you can see the departure and arrival point across the canal as if you were picked up.

You can do it. There is a fun conversation among many tourists who get off from here.

English, Chinese, and Cantonese are especially louder than Japanese, and the bustle of the departure and arrival areas.

It's even more gorgeous.

kimitaku1_20181220.jpg

To get to Tsukiji Ohashi, get off at Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line and walk 10 minutes.

Toei buses go from the south exit of Marunouchi, Tokyo Station bound for Toyomi Fisheries Pier.

From Kameido Station to Tsukishima Station, bound for Toyomi Fisheries Pier

Both are a 5-minute walk from Niijima Bridge.

*It is also recommended to match the departure and arrival times of Hamarikyu on the Tokyo Cruise of Tokyo Kanko Kisen*.

Please note that is careful, and Hamarikyu is not seen from the sidewalk of the upper reaches.

Interview with Sachi Manabe, a hand-painted Yuzen dyeing writer, Nihonbashi Kiya Main Store izutuki

[rosemary sea] January 14, 2019 14:00

It is rosemary sea, which decides on a substance of "gifts and enjoys myself".

IMG_20190109_131356 (2)a.jpg

From Tuesday, January 8 to January 31 (Thursday), "Hand-painted Yuzen dyeing Sachi Manabe Exhibition" is being held at Gallery izutuki, which is attached to the long-established knife shop Nihonbashi Kiya Main Store.

IMG_20190108_110141 (2)a.jpg

(Mr. Manabe, earrings are also from my own work series.)

Sachi Manabe is a hand-painted Yuzen dyeing writer. Born in Aichi Prefecture.

After graduating from the Faculty of Letters at Ritsumeikan University in 2007, he studied under Yuzen dyeing writer Kihachiro Yoshida, a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association, and studied hand-drawn Yuzen dyeing.

With the aim of integrating fashion and visual art, he has created works that combine the functions of "watching, wearing, and decorating".

This time, it was awarded the 2011 Japan Craft Newcomer Encouragement Award for the men's fashionable wear "Kemonode" displayed in the center of the exhibition.

On the day of the exhibition, I was able to meet Mr. Sachi Manabe at the venue.

I introduced the state of the exhibition on the 12th, and at that time, I also interviewed.

This is an interview article. I will show you a lot of valuable words right away.

IMG_20190108_110225 (2)a.jpg

"All the furoshiki and tiles were made based on the kimonos displayed in the center."

IMG_20190108_111752 (2)a.jpg

Have you ever been troubled by your style before?

"After I quit my teacher, there was a time when I was wondering whether to continue, but I would like to continue Yuzen dyeing.

The main axis is kimonos such as kimonos and obis, but we have to take on various challenges from there. The world of crafts is also becoming a shayo industry, so for example, trying to do a "tertiary collaboration".

I'm doing traditional crafts in Kyoto, and since I'm from Tajimi tiles, I'm from Aichi Prefecture, I want to collaborate with local technology.

So, in such tiles and embroidery races, there are not many places that have machines that can be embroidered in Isesaki and Kiryu in Gunma Prefecture, and businesses that accept that I want to do it in small lots Search. I visited Gunma last November. (I live in Kyoto) It was far from thought. It took an hour and a half to get on the Shinkansen from Tokyo. That's the end of the day."

IMG_20190108_110400 (2)a.jpg

- Have you changed your style from the teacher Takumi (Kihachiro Yoshida)?

"Yes. After all, after quitting, this work (Kemonode kimono) is a turning point, but on the contrary, I shake it and think about whether I want to make it more and more. Otherwise, it would be the second decoction of the teacher for a long time, and it would feel degraded. I have to find my style, so I still get along (with my teacher) and have something I don't understand (tell me) or "I'm going to do my best?" (Laughs). "

IMG_20190109_131148 (2). jpg

When I was a college student, I first decided to work in a friend's workshop and went to a workshop in Yuzen dyeing.

"There was a workshop on hand-painted yuzen that was being conducted by the government. It was about 20,000 yen for a course of about three months, but I really wanted to take it.

When I wanted to receive it was that the door wasn't open at all, and that I had to be a member of the association.

Various craftsmen can come, such as kimono-related people other than Yuzen dyeing, but I was told that if I wanted to go as an ordinary university student, I wouldn't do it.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was any hand, so I decided to work part-time at a friend (no workshop), and there I took a training course for three months.

(of course) When I came to the end, I was told that something was wrong, and I said, "Actual." Even now, the group is continuing. I also have an exhibition.

But now anyone can take that course."

ーーYou're a pioneer.

"No, it's totally wild. I wish I could live a little more strategically. That's right.

Last year, I did it at a midtown shop (Kiya-san's) and said that tiles were unusual, but they sold a little bit.

If so, at the main store (Kiya-san Nihonbashi), there are cooking utensils, and I think it's good."

IMG_20190108_112901 (2)a.jpg

IMG_20190108_111013 (2)a.jpgDoes the feeling of the color of the tile change before and after baking?

"Actually, kimonos are completely different. It's quite different.

In the fixation of color, there is a process called "steaming", where the color changes. There's something to change.

As for this tile, I made a glaze seal to make it as close as possible and reproduce it with it.

For pottery, there is a good color.

The rest is the texture. One version of each color is made using the necessary technique, so I make a glaze seal, but I need one version of red, blue, and gradation. I'm going to make this sticker by repeating the plates. It's like sticking it to the tile fabric and baking it.

So there is a pattern to the side of the tile. Usually, tiles are just a picture above.

Compared to inkjets, it has a soft texture and is not too smooth."

The craftsman puts a sticker and bakes it.

IMG_20190108_112646 (2)a.jpg

ーThe pattern of the kimono bird of this kemonode is impressive.

"This comes from" Sarasa (Sarasa: pattern dyeing from India origin) ".

Just across the Silk Road, the image of animals with such good luck patterns (Kishomonyo: a pattern depicting animals and plants that are said to have good luck) came into Japan across the sea. Because I'm drawing with it.

This work itself is not for sale."

IMG_20190108_112703 (2)a.jpg

ーYou were also making wedding costumes.

I've made a batting. There's also furisode.

"Recently, I've been doing Takara Jenne's bromide or something (the costume)."

IMG_20190108_112358 (2)a.jpg

IMG_20190108_112328 (2)a.jpgーHow long does it take to create small items?

"Even accessories are dyed, dried, fixed, pressed, assembled again, glue, and dried again.

It's about a week. It takes a long time to dry.

I have to dry the color. The color when we get wet is quite different. I wonder if I'll dye it again.

There's also such an adjustment."

"The" color of YUZEN " series is a series that uses silk fabric and is the first accessory to start."

"tint (Tint:" light shade "or" dyeing ") series" wants to "watch" the color more lightly. So the motif part is outsourced, and let's use the lace.

That's why I changed to a series called tint.

It is made with the luster of silk as a gemstone."
