How about Valentine's Day? ~ Chocolate of Shiseido Hanatsubaki

[Vickie] January 31, 2012 08:30

When I bothered you before, "Cute! When I prepare a gift for an important person someday, I will definitely do this! "
This time, such an opportunity came to Ginza immediately!

Ginza Shiseido Parlour is known by all means.
Last spring, it was a shop that tasted the French toast of Ginza honey (laughs).

This time, I visited the food shop on the 1st floor.
There are many products full of Shiseido's style, such as sweets, wine and soups, as well as sweets. The inside of the store is decorated with a lot of seasonal patterns and Valentine gifts.

Today, the name is "Makiage Chocolat". Please take a look! The flower camellia of Shiseido motif is such a colorful chocolate!

It is beautifully displayed one by one, like jewelry or cosmetics. You can enjoy different flavors depending on the color, such as champagne, mango, yuzu lime, etc. The box containing 5 pieces is perfect for a small gift. The wrapping is also elegant like Ginza!

The flower camellia mark was born in Taisho 4 (1915).
The design was designed by Shinzo Fukuhara, the first president of Shiseido and a photographer.
Around this time, cafes opened in Ginza Brick Street one after another, and we were entering a gorgeous era with the scent of Taisho romance.

Even after 100 years, Hanatsubaki has been loved as such a wonderful chocolate ...
In considering the history of Ginza, I realized once again that the keyword "stylish" is inseparable after all.

This flower camellia chocolate is sold only at the Ginza main store. How about a Valentine gift for a wonderful man who understands "real fashion"?

Meigetsuan ★Egg Toji Soba at Ginza Tanakaya Main Store

[Mapo ★] January 26, 2012 08:30

My friend came to Tokyo last December, so I went for lunch.

There are several soba shops that haven't been to Ginza yet.

I'm an egg toji soba and my friend is Kizami green onion. Both were 1100 yen.

When I was in elementary school, the soba I ate in Tokyo with my mother was black.

Ten years since then ... black broth is no longer visible.

Did the taste of soba in Tokyo become gentle? (* ^^ *)

Egg Toji soba, I ate it for the first time in a long time, but it's delicious.★

I can't see soba because it's full of fluffy eggs (laughs).

Udon is Kansai, but the soba is delicious in Tokyo.★

There is a counter using solid board and a sukiya-style atmosphere.

The patisserie style and soil of Ginza 6-chome

[Mapo ★] January 21, 2012 08:30

Patisserie wind and soil in Ginza 6-chome.
Last year, when I was walking along Nishi Ginza Street, I found a new shop opposite the road!

It seems that it opened about a year and a half ago at a restaurant of Chef Patissier Takuya Uemura.
Speaking of which, Nishi-Ginza Dori may not have passed much.

Ginza is the first store, and it seems that there was only a store here at this time.
It seems to be located inside the ticket gate of Tokyo Station and at Shinagawa Station.

It seems that it is made with special attention to Japanese materials.
There are various sweets made from Iwate-grown "Nevarigoshi" for flour.

The best recommendation is tart fromage (cheese cake)
And recently, roll cakes are also popular, and they are also popular.
There is also "silver six rolls" made with whole grain flour and rice flour.

In my case, the first thing to buy with a Western confectionery shop is Duckworth.
There were two types, so I bought them.
It doesn't seem to use flour, so it's moist.
It was a crunchy with almonds!

And the pie confectionery called Ginza Marronnier Street.
I liked the name and shape of chestnuts and bought it.
It's a pie dough, but it's moist, and the chestnuts come in and it's delicious!

Enjoy the taste of Michelin at home-Nihonbashi Tenshi Shigeru, bamboo skin wrapped Tendon

[Vickie] January 5, 2012 08:30

Happy New Year, all of you! Please look forward to seeing you again this year.♪

Well, let's have a good topic from the New Year.

There was a connection, and I received Tenge Nihonbashi's "Bamboo Skin Wrapper Tendon".

Tenge is a tempura shop standing quietly behind the alleys of Nihonbashi、It's a venerable shop that has won one star at that Michelin!

It was founded in 1885. Even now, Mr. Okuda, the owner, is a trademark butterfly tie and stands at the landing every day.

This is "Bamboo skin wrapped Tendon". In the form of a good old Japanese "lunch box", there is a long-established style.

Anago Tendon-don. JPG

According to the accompanying explanation, during the Meiji and Taisho eras, the head of a nearby shop was enjoying this Tendon as a night eclipse. Well, let's have it!

Anago Tendon Up. JPG

As soon as the wrapping is opened, the scent of sesame oil spreads quickly!
"What is the inside like?" I wondered, but I see. There's a big hole tempura on it. Tentsuyu is soaked in the rice and it's delicious! You can feel the sense of unity that is wrapped in bamboo skin. In paper and plastic containers, I'm sure they don't wear this.

Surprisingly, this "Bamboo Skin Wrapper Tendon" is a registered trademark of Tenmoge (4782492). After all, the long-established stores are different in terms of the history, and it was very delicious!

(Even outside August, a reservation is required on Saturday night by the day before.)

This bamboo skin wrapped Tendon is limited to 20 pieces per day. Please make a reservation by the day before.

However, please note that if you do not get a good hole, you will not make it.

Ginza Miyukikan ★Mont Blanc and Croissant Morning of Waguri

[Mapo ★] January 4, 2012 08:30

Speaking of Ginza Miyukikan, there are 6 stores in Ginza.
It is a cafe famous for the signboard of "Mont Blanc, which is said to be the most delicious in Ginza."

The main store in Sotobori-dori St. was ate the Mont Blanc.
It's been about three years ago, but the meringue at the
bottom feels good, and the cream inside is also delicious.
It was a mellow, rich and very delicious Mont Blanc.
On September 1st, Mont Blanc of Waguri seems to be a new chestnut.

The main store also had an entrance on Sony Street on the back, and this entrance was also cute.★

The main store is open by the window, and the atmosphere is good.
It seems that the coffee uses Royal Copenhagen and Jinori tableware.
I happened to be able to sit in a seat facing the street on the table, so I felt very Parisy (laughs).

As an aside, I saw Yoichi Hayashi at the head office at that time (laughs).

And the shop in Ginza 2-chome, which was made this year, was created.
There is a limited 15 croissant morning (630 yen).
I happened to go to Ginza in the morning, so I went there.

Well, it's only croissant and cafe au lait, so it might not be a great deal.
This croissant was awarded the Savour de Raney Prize.
It seems that they use AOC-certified fermented butter from Charant Powatu.

The surface is crispy and rich butter soaked in (* ^^ *)

And the interior is really Paris-like and cute.
There were some seats with partitions that looked like a private room, and it was a very calm atmosphere.♪
