Behind the alleys of Tsukiji at night

[Ryokichi] June 27, 2013 09:00

The city of Tsukiji is a market city, so it is dark early at night, but if you break through such a situation, there are cozy spaces here and there. The season has improved, and the number of people who are attracted to the back alleys of Tsukiji at night and are getting lost is increasing. This time, I would like to introduce one of these wonderful shops. It's in the back alley, so you can't find it normally. I don't know while there is no sign in particular.

The name of the shop is Sakezen Club, and the location is Tsukiji 7-chome 14-13.

If you go from the direction of St. Luke's International Hospital, you will be near the back of Xiaoping Park. However, because it is behind the alley, it may be difficult to find a place at first.

But it's okay, at night there's an orange sign, so you'll surely find it if you go nearby.

There is even more famous steep stairs when you get to that place, as if you are refusing to come. Please refer to the following.

IMG_1429.jpg Well, if you go up this steep stairs, you will find a shop like a hideaway. A size that fills up when about 10 customers enter. A bright atmosphere with red wallpaper. And it is the landlady, Komori-san. You are active as a dietitian and are also giving lectures at universities. It is said that the menu is composed from the perspective of such a nutrition expert. In fact, a delicious meal with plenty of vegetables comes out. Enjoying drinking and eating and drinking healthy, it seems that the menu is always thought about this. In addition, fresh ingredients from the market. There's nothing wrong. This will make you drink better. But I have to go down the stairs on my way home. You have to be careful no matter how close you are to the hospital. However, conversations with regulars like downtown, mainly landladys, are exciting and the amount of alcohol increases. Is it a different space? Time has passed since I forgot the outside.

With this feeling, the night of Tsukiji is going to be late today. The market will start in a few hours.

The Sakezen Club also holds rakugo events and jogging parties every month, and a wide variety of hobbies gather. In addition, there is a new store in Ginza 8-chome, and the store has momentum. If you are interested, please come and visit us.

A wonderful person I met in the city-Part 2-"With hospitality"

[Shitamachi Tom] June 26, 2013 14:00

Among those who live or work in Chuo-ku, I would like to introduce those who have met and impressed by themselves or sympathized.

This time, Mr. Masayuki Miyashita, who is the store manager at a restaurant near Higashi Ginza Station.

ADK Shochiku Square _R.JPG

Tsukiji's [ADK Shochiku Square] has a beautiful modern form, and I really like the openness of the lobby on the first floor. The large staircase is also impressive. It's sometimes used for filming dramas.

There used to be a cinema in Shochiku, and when the Tora-san series was heyday, many cinema fans went there. It is now a building with restaurants and offices, but on the third floor there is the Shochiku Otani Library, which has valuable facilities where specialized books and materials are stored mainly in Kabuki.

Today, I will visit [Kushiyaki / Charcoal Yakiniku Yagura] on the second floor of this building. When you go up the escalator from the lobby on the first floor, you will see a calm entrance ahead of the spacious conductor. The moist atmosphere that makes use of the Japanese-style taste is perfect not only for business negotiations with work clients, but also for family members.

Mr. Miyashita, the store manager, is loved by employees as a tough and gentle leader. You are working hard to protect this store almost without a break. No matter you visit, you will never stop smiling and your personality is soft, but the appearance of shining every corner of the store and grasping the situation feels a tough professional.

It seems that Miyashita's inscription on the right is "No official". Everything seems to be the words of Emperor Showa, but I think the meaning is to throw away selfishness and do it for everyone. I heard that Hiroo Rikiishi, the authority of the world, had taken up it as a translation of hospitality. In any case, I realized that Mr. Miyashita is pursuing the spirit of hospitality, which is the starting point of the service industry, and thinking about how to shape it.

Mr. Miyashita, who saw him off to the entrance when he left the shop, gave a short but hearty greeting. Of course, I was satisfied with the meal I had, but I was convinced that it was important to have the meal in a good environment. Thank you very much for taking care of everyone in the shop.

Okinawan cuisine Naka Miyazato

[Silver] June 18, 2013 09:00

Today, I would like to introduce Naka Miyazato, a family-like Okinawan restaurant in Shintomi-cho.

I ordered a set of bitter gourd chanple and half Okinawa soba from a number of menus. The bitter gourd has roasted tofu and the spam ham with a simple taste and is very healthy. Okinawa soba contains pork corn and it was very delicious. The price is 850 yen, and the bitter gourd chample set meal without half soba is 650 yen.

If you are near Shintomi-cho, please drop in to taste the tropical atmosphere. There are also Orion beer and delicious Awamori.

The location is 1-11-3 Shintomi and the telephone is 03-3552-7733.

It's a tasty season of anago [scale]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] June 17, 2013 09:00

Introducing the Anago Japanese restaurant "Hakarime" in Ginza 5-chome.

It's very close to Ginza 4-chome intersection.

It's on the sixth floor of the building.

Except for the counter, you can rest in a private room.

At lunch time, "Anago Hitsumabushi Shige" (This is the lunch signboard menu of this shop!) I ordered it. It's lighter and more delicious than the original eel snail, and I like this as a lunch menu. On this day, it was an eel from Kyushu, but it seems that it will be an eel from Edomae.

The ice I ordered after the meal was also very delicious with white sesame ice, and it was served!

Thank you m(__)m

Italian IL CENTRO GINZA

1. June 11, 2013 10:00

Kabuki Watching (Kabuki Theater Tour?) After the performance of a couple of friends who came to Tokyo, I was guided to Il Chento, a 2-minute walk from Kabukiza Theater. From Kabukiza, go straight on Harumi-dori St. toward Hibiya, 1-2 minutes away. It takes less than 2 minutes from Higashi-Ginza Station or Ginza Station. It is Il Chentro Ginza (middle of Ginza) as the name implies. In addition to the table seats, there are counter seats where you can look at the kitchen with a clear and bright interior based on white. (Everyone can enjoy it comfortably.) Chef Fukuda was former chef of I Primi and opened this shop in April 2010. It is said that he is aiming for "casual Italian". I sometimes come to lunch, but it's the first time at night. Recommended by a friend who introduced me, the dayner course starts from 3,675 yen to 3 courses. I'd like to reserve a 4200 yen course today. "Appetizer, fish dish, pasta, meat dish, dessert".

The difference in the price of the course is the difference in the ingredients, and as soon as you receive the first fried bread sandwiched with mozzarella, your cheeks loosen and expectations for future dishes will increase. After all, I'll have some wine. It's 630 yen for glass wine. Even so, I amazed at the height of the great CP. The area around Higashiginza is a fierce lunch battlefield, so this lunch is of course recommended. Pasta lunch 850 yen (with bread and salad) plate lunch 1100 yen (with soup, pasta and drink).

It's until 14:30, so we recommend that you go out a little later.

The cooking class held on Saturday (irregular) will also be reported to the next report.
