Is autumn coming?

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 25, 2011 08:30

Yesterday, August 23rd, "treated heat" is called twenty-four seasons.
It seems that the heat is about to start retreating across the pass ...

After 7:00 am, while I was going to work thinking that it will be hot today, sun I looked up and looked up, and the sky in Ginza cloudwas a beautiful cloud that made me feel the coming of autumn.

Furthermore, when I walked while looking up, I saw a rainbow in the sky of Ginza.sign03

It was a modest rainbow to see if it could be understood from the photo, but it was the rainbow I saw after a long time.happy01

Green moisture and coolness

[Sam] August 10, 2011 13:00

R0014290S.JPG Even though the fall has passed, the harsh summer heat.

Here at Harumi Island Triton Square's "Flower Terrace", the red, orange, and yellow summer flowers that are still in full bloom under the strong sunlight are still eye-catching.

In such a season, this time we introduce the cold-colored flowers found on the terrace that feel the coolness.

This year marks the tenth year since its completion in 2001, but the three terrace spaces with the theme of flowers, greenery, and water are a place to stroll, rest, and relax for local residents and workers.

Rooftop greening, shade of trees, and the babbling of water relieves the heat and gives moisture and peace.

Please enjoy "visual coolness" for a moment.

Ryogoku Hirokoji is the scent of Edo

[Shitamachi Tom] August 10, 2011 13:00

This year, due to the influence of Great East Japan Earthquake, the “Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival” related to Chuo-ku was canceled, and it is a bit lonely, but in other famous places, the “Sumida River Fireworks Festival” is delayed.

In front of Ryogoku Bridge JPG
This tournament originated from fireworks that were originally raised at the Ryogoku River Opening, which draws on the flow from the Edo period.

In the past, fireworks were literally launched in the territories of both countries, and they were excited with the shouts of "Tamaya" and "Keyya".

The current Ryogoku Bridge was the fireworks venue, right?

The west side of Ryogoku Bridge was established during the Edo period, and was known as [Ryogoku Hirokoji]. At that time, it was said that it was one of the most popular places in Edo.

Around Ryogoku Hirokoji Temple. JPGNow you can only see the road and the building, but the split eyes of the road remind you of the outer edge of the former sund area.

By the way, [Ryogoku] is now a place name on the Sumida-ku side, but originally it was a part of the current place name of Higashi Nihonbashi in Chuo-ku. Because it was the border between the country of [Musashi] and [Shimousa]. At present, the area where the Kokugikan was built was called [East Ryogoku] or [Other Ryogoku].

By the way, if you walk a little from Ryogoku Hirokoji, you can reach [Yagenbori fudoson].

Yagenbori fudoson The old figure JPGIt is a Buddhist temple with a strong religion since ancient times, and appears in various literatures.

Shotaro Ikenami's "Onihei Crime Book" Vol. 14 "Tonosama Sakae Goro" states as follows.

・・・ ・ ・ The bustle of fair here is one of the best in Edo. This area is also in contact with the prime location of Ryogoku Nishihiro Koji, where restaurants and commercial shops line the eaves, and even at night, the lights are so busy that the lights are said to be "like daytime."

From here, it is a fun walking path to go to Bakurocho and walk from Hamacho to Ningyocho.

Sometimes, why don't you enjoy the changing scenery of Chuo-ku while imagining the appearance of the prime of the past?

From Nihonbashi stamp rally to Ginza

[Silver] August 4, 2011 08:30

Last time, I talked about the red seal book, but http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/2011/03/post-688.html Today, I will report the collection of stamps from there. The collection stamp is very fun, and I hope that it will be a picture diary of a child during summer vacation and a good memory. Let's leave from Nihonbashirun!

CIMG8854.jpg

You can also put stamps at the money museum. At the post offices in Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, and Ginza on the right, if you buy more than 50 yen stamps, you will get a wonderful postmark. Please specify this mark, please. Nihonbashi Post Office is 1-18-1 Nihonbashi, Kyobashi Post Office is 4-2-2 Tsukiji, Ginza Post Office is near Ginza Junior High School, please refer to this. http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/2011/03/post-652.html

Next, Kyobashi. On the left is the "Lottery Dream Hall" and on the right is the Film Center of the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/author27/2011/03/

The police museum in Kyobashi. You can also wear a police officer's uniform and ride a white bike.

CIMG8858.jpg

If you have a silver bra and enjoy shopping and eating, put a receipt to commemorate it.

CIMG8859.jpg

I think there are still places where you can push stamps. Make good memoriesrunrun

Early in the morning of August, at Ginza Marronnier Street

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 3, 2011 08:30

Each of the buildings lined up in Ginza buildingis beautiful, but it is not only due to the design, but also the beauty of the people who clean it in this way.shine

I was unscrupulous to those who work seriously, but the blue sky in the morning and white cloudscloud reflected on the glass wall, making it as if the working person was floating in the sky.good

However, it's absolutely impossible for me to do an elegant job floating in the sky, but it's absolutely impossible.sign03shock

The annual “St. Luke's College of Nursing” premises.

"Talking with Trees Tama Art University Wood Sculpture Classroom Exhibition 2011" has started. The period is from August 1 to September 24 [Saturday] today. The wood carving work matches the green lawn.

The harmony with St. Luke Hospital and St. Luke's Tower is beautiful.

CIMG8937.jpg

There are also fun works like "Wopalpa" walking.

CIMG8938.jpg

Please take a look at this work before leaving the premises and entering St. Luke Hospital. The title is "Eternity-Love-Talking in the Sky", and the author is Mitsuyuki Takeda of Tama Art University, donated 2005.7.1. Palms in the sun ♪ There was a song that said. We have to cherish our limited life, the earth.

Enter the hospital quietly. The pair of parakeet greets you well.

In this area, you can get a booklet summarizing the collection of works exhibited last year. Since the number of copies is limited, consider the necessity and value resources as seen by many people as possible. In front of the exit to St. Luke's Tower, you can also appreciate works such as paintings in the gallery. The flow of the Sumida River will heal your heart.
