The healing spot in the city {Tsukiji River Kameibashi Park≫

Even though the cherry blossoms fall, the season of flowers lasts.

At Tsukiji River Kameibashi Park near Chuo-ku government office, azaleas are beginning to bloom.

A little congratulations with white and red on the petals (?) There was also an azalea.

tukijigawa.jpg "Tsukiji River Kamei Bridge Park" has a Pele Near Garden, and it seems that about 75 kinds of flowers can be seen.

Surrounded by tall buildings, it is a place where cars come and go on the Metropolitan Expressway, which was built by reclaiming the Tsukiji River.

I'm grateful that there is a park where you can relax.

As a whole, the azalea flowers are small and cute.

There was also a wisteria trellis in the park, but it seemed that the flowers bloomed.

Planting of open space in the Asahi Shimbun

[Silver] April 26, 2012 08:30

I don't think the planting of the open space of the Asahi Shimbun is very famous, but it blooms wonderfully in spring.

As of April 21, Yae-zakura, Azalea and rhododendron are competing in the upper right corner.

Please take a look at the gorgeous appearance of rhododendron. Azalea is like a flower carpet after this.

Please go a little further and drop in for the verse near you.

Located surrounded by Ginza Capital Hotel, Tsukiji Honganji Temple and St. Luke's College of Nursing, Tsukiji River Park is a green oasis. Following the blossoming of cherries, Hananoki and Yoshino cherry tree since the end of March, it is now called apple flowers.

[Silver] April 22, 2012 11:01

Hello everyone. Today we will show you the flowers of the Hamarikyu Gardens, especially the stunning Yae-zakura.

Enter the garden and in front of Shinsenza Kamoba. From the left you can see "fringed iris", the yellow flower in the center is "Japan globeflower", and the white flower is a wild strawberry. (All photos are as of April 21.)

The bridge to the teahouse in Nakajima is under restoration. However, splendid cherry blossoms are blooming on the left side of the embankment.

CIMG0276.jpg

Then, let's walk on the outside promenade. "Fugen elephant" at the foot of Mt. Fujimi.

CIMG0280.jpg

If you follow the road, you can see Yae-zakura such as Sekiyama and Kazuha.

CIMG0282.jpg

And some elegant sweet scent drifts. It's "Surugadai smell."

CIMG0284.jpg

Then, about 30 meters before the seaside bridge is the rare Yae-zakura, such as Gyoiko, Sekiyama, Turmeric and Kazuha.

CIMG0288.jpg

Let's go left in front of the canola flower field. Buttons are beginning to bloom.

CIMG0301.jpg

I think the best time to see peony is until mid-May, but is Yae-zakura until April 27?

Please go out and enjoy it. For inquiries, please contact Hamarikyu Garden at 03-3541-0200.

500 spray mums <Sony Building Entrance Hall>

[Sam] April 21, 2012 15:04

R0018433LS.JPG R0018391RS.JPG At the entrance hall on the 1st floor of the Ginza Sony Building, a flower box arranged with 500 domestic spray mum is on display as the sixth flight of "Ginza Flower Letters" from April 16 to July 15.

It is said that the types of flowers to be displayed every 10 days will be replaced because many people want to know the appeal of spray mum, which is cultivated in various parts of the country. You can enjoy a total of 4,500 spray mums.

pencilSpray mam is a horticultural variety that has been improved in Western Europe, and is a chrysanthemum that produces many flowers radially on a single stem. There are six types of flower types and blooming methods: "single type", "spider type", "animone type", "bonbon type", "spoon type", and "decora type", and the flower color is rich in pastel colors such as white, yellow, orange, and pink. It is characterized by a large number of flowers and a good shelf life.

Hanami Jogging Sumida River Terrace

[Ryokichi] April 19, 2012 08:30

This is a time when there are many introductions to cherry blossoms, but please allow me to add another from the viewpoint of jogging lovers.

The Sumida River Terrace, the usual jogging course, gives you a special feeling of the year only during certain periods from March to April.

On this day, we started Eitai Bridge. On a sunny weekend morning, if you go along the Sumida River bank from the direction of Eitai Bridge to the area around Shinkawa, you will be greeted by the scenery that is always open, but at this time, gorgeousness will be added. The air is getting warmer and I feel spring on this day.

The road is like a cherry blossom corridor. It was such a moment that I couldn't say with beautiful or stunning expressions like the moon.

If you go straight, you will reach Chuo-ohashi Bridge. From this bridge, you can see the new Tokyo landmark, the Tokyo Sky Tree. It is a picture of a good balance with Eitai Bridge.

DSC_5353.JPG

In the future, run along the bank of Tsukuda Island while looking at Eitai Bridge, pass through Paris Square and Aioi Bridge to Koto-ku once. This time we will have a look at Chuo-ku. Along the bank, head from Echinakajima Park to Eitai Bridge, and cross the bridge to return to the starting point.
This is a little more than 2 km. (In fact, there are not enough people to run with this alone, so I went up the Sumida River to Hamacho Park and enjoyed running cherry blossoms.)

I realized that the Sumida River, which has been popular with the common people since Edo, is an important element that composes the charm of Chuo-ku. Cherry blossoms, next year.

During this season, the existence of cherry blossoms is too strong and overwhelming, but the Sumida River Terrace is a safe and good jogging course (or promenade) where you can always enjoy the scenery.
