 On March 29, the sixth day after the flowering declaration of Yoshino cherry tree in central Tokyo on March 23, the daytime temperature rose to 21.3°C and was in full bloom at once.

5 days earlier than normal, along with Fukuoka, the earliest full bloom in Japan.

It is expected that warm days will continue in the first half of this week, so it will be a great day for cherry blossom viewing.

In Nihonbashi, a city where cherry blossom viewing culture has been alive for a long time, the annual “Nihonbashi / Spring / Sakura Weeks” is currently being held, but the cherry blossoms at the side of Nihonbashi are in full bloom and are even more bustling.

In the neighborhood, "Sakura-dori St.", which boasts the largest number of about 150 Yoshino cherry tree trees in Chuo-ku, is worth seeing, and there are approximately 80 relatively cherry blossom trees in Yoshino cherry tree in Wakagi, from the Bank of Japan to Showa-dori. (By the way, the character of the stone monument marked with the street name is the book of the 12th generation Danjuro Ichikawa).

"Sakura-dori St." and "Edo Sakura-dori St." are lit up at night, and you can enjoy the fantastic "night cherry blossoms" with a different atmosphere than during the day.

 

   

 

 

 

There is a Sukiyabashi police box facing the Sukiyabashi intersection where Sotobori-dori St. and Harumi-dori St. intersect.

The outer wall is made of bricks associated with Ginza Brick Street in Meiji period. It was difficult to decide on this police box with an impressive pointed roof and the design of the roof, and when I was stuck with a waiting needle on the model of the police box, it was adopted as the design of the police box roof as it was.

Next to this police box, there is "Hagure Sakura" and a statue of a squatting girl at the base (author: Yuzo Iwata) at the base.

Is "Hagurekko" related to the police box, or from "Hagure Sakura" standing as if only one was peeled off, did you build a statue of "Hagurekko" according to its name? I don't know if the cherry blossoms were named "Hagure Sakura" because "Hagurekko" was built at the base, so I don't know how many of the cherry blossoms were named "Hagure Sakura". It may be a product of imagination.

In this same space, beautiful plants of Christmas rose are blooming. It is strange that Christmas rose blooms during the cherry blossom season, but unlike the name, Christmas rose has many varieties that bloom in spring. Also, the petals look like sepals, the so-called flowering season is quite long.

That's why it was the Sukiyabashi intersection, spring scenery.

By the way, "Hagure Sakura" was still blooming for a minute (as of the afternoon of March 28).

 

 

As of March 28 (Saturday), the flowering status of cherry blossoms in Chuo-ku seemed to be almost buds and some places were in full bloom.

This time, I walked in Chuo-ku in search of a place where the cherry blossoms are blooming.

①Sakuragawa Park

Close to JR Hatchobori Station, the cherry blossoms at Sakuragawa Park were blooming conditions where you could fully enjoy the flowers.

②Near Minami Takahashi

There are only a few cherry blossoms near the bridge, but the cherry blossoms and the historic bridge match well.

It's no exaggeration to say that it's a famous place.

③Cherry blossoms along River Street

There is a road called River Street in Shinkawa, Chuo-ku, where there is a large tree.

④Oiwa Inari Tamiya Shrine

It is a shrine with the tradition of Oiwa, the main character of "Tokaido Yotsuya Kaidan" of the fourth generation Nanboku Tsuruya. It was enshrined in Samoncho, Yotsuya, which was a rock residence in 1717 (1717), and moved to its current location (1-4 Echizen moat at that time) in 1879 (1879).

Torii and Momodo stone are registered as private folk cultural properties in the ward.

The cherry blossoms are also quite stunning, and you can enjoy the wonderful scenery along with the appearance of the shrine.

⑦Sakura-dori St. (Night View)

In the row of cherry trees extending from the north exit of Tokyo Station Yaesu to Kayabacho, the largest number of 169 cherry trees in the city are in full bloom.

Flowering has already progressed, but the "Hichihachikai Sakura Festival" is scheduled to be held from April 3 (Fri) to 5 (Sun).

There is a fun event, so I would like to visit again at that time.

 The Sakura Front goes north to the Kanto region, and it is a sign that spring is coming in earnest, but in the precincts of Tsukuda Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, the bokeh of Genpei blooming (blooming) planted beside Kagura Hall is in full bloom.

Bokeh is a deciduous shrub native to China.

"Genpei bloom" refers to red and white (in addition, light red and middle spots <pertures) on a single tree.> It is said that the flowers bloomed separately in the "Genpei Battle" in which the color of the Genji flag <white> and the color of the Heike flag <red> fought in a mixed battle.

It seems that various "blooming" varieties are being produced, but it seems to be the representative variety "Orient Nishiki".

Depending on the year, it is not determined how red, light red, white, and spots bloom together, and it is the mystery of nature that the appearance is different.

In the flowers that bloom all at once, it is a flower that gives a more glossy and distinctive color.

 

    

 

 

    

 

 "Ryu Shrine" is the largest among Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine (Tsukuda 1) precincts, and is known as "Ryujin-sama" and "Benten-sama".

Every year, Reisai Festival is held on Sunday near the Snake Day from late March to early April, and the Sakura Festival is held at the same time as the cherry blossoms bloom on the grounds.

This year's exhibition will be held on March 28 (Sat) and 29 (Sun).

About 120 Yoshino cherry tree trees are planted in Tsukuda Park, which is adjacent to Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.

On the grounds, free entertainment of amazake soup powder (11:00-15:00).

On the 28th, at 11:30, Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. <Sanken Taiko> performed and at 13:00 at Tsukuda Junior High School Taiko Club performed.

On the 29th, a large festival ceremony will be held from 11:00. 

 

    

 

✎In 1822 (1822), the god of water, Ryuhime Ogami, was founded as a dragon shrine. After that, a white snake appeared on Tsukuda Island, and the islanders worshiped as a dragon god and worshiped in the town. In 1838 (1838), the shrine was located near a workshop where fishermen's nets were boiled in a Shibugama, and was easily affected by fire heat. In 1839, it is said that the deities of Daibenzaiten at Nihonbashi Shirakiya were too large and could not be carried away, and they were enshrined together.

Today, Ryu Shrine and Daibenzaiten are collectively called "Ryuo Benzaiten", and they seem to be revered as a god with the gods of good luck, rising fortune, thriving business, fulfilling academic achievement, performing arts, and healing of illness.

I hear that many people came to visit this day because fair in Benzaiten is the Day of the Snake.

 

 

In the past, a second-class river called Tsukiji River flowed around Tsukiji and poured into Tokyo Bay. Is it better to say that it came to be called the Tsukiji River.)

Most of them are now reclaimed, highways, parking lots, and culverts.

On the other hand, the bridge over the Tsukiji River has its name, but the adjacent small space is a park.

Finally, the season is spring production, so the park from 1 to 5 on the map below I walked and saw the highlights of the cherry blossoms planted in the park that leaves the name of the Tsukiji River and the bridge.

５．Tsukiji River Sendai Bridge Park (5-1-1 Tsukiji)

kawazu-zakura, Fugenzo and weeping cherry tree are small parks adjacent to Ginza Junior High School. kawazu-zakura has finished blooming and leaves. Hugen elephants are still buds. weeping cherry tree blooms five minutes

I felt that there was a variation in the flowering situation for each park and the cherry tree.

However, by the time this blog appears, Sakura will be more beautiful in each park and will be in full bloom.
