Wild birds on the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park in May

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] May 5, 2017 14:00

This is Tsukuda Usako, which has been in birdwatching in Chuo-ku since last year, especially on the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park.

We will inform you of wild birds that can be seen on Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace in May.

The bird of the capital city of Tokyo, Urikamome, has almost disappeared in order to breed in the northern part of Eurasian Continent after wintering in Japan, but several birds, which seem to be the final set, have a black face It has completely changed to summer feathers. Also, how many days can you see at Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace? I'm in the countdown of Ganglo? If you want to see the squirrels, as soon as possible.

The travel bird's Kyojo Shigi came on April 30! After wintering in South Asia, on the way to breed in northern Eurasian Continent, they come as a relay point in spring and autumn in Japan as a relay point. At Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace, you can see it only around the low tide until mid-May. If you would like to meet Keijo Shigi, named for its gorgeous feathers like a kimono of a woman in Kyoto, the next time is the low tide period from May 7 to 18. (Lower and left)

common sandpiper has come to show her well. common sandpiper is a resident bird and stays in Naka Nihon for a year, but it can be seen frequently from this season. It is a sharp beak with a characteristic of Shigi, aiming for crabs coming out of the rock. If you want to meet common sandpiper, who walks up and down the tail feathers, you will be able to meet quite a chance in the coming season. (Lower and right)

oriental greenfinch

I came to see oriental greenfinch on the grassland of Ishikawajima Park.

oriental greenfinch is about the same size as sparrow and is distributed only in East Asia.

Breeding and raising children will begin in the future, so you can see them in pairs.

If you would like to see oriental greenfinch with a high voice, listen to a different sound than a sparrow.

Other than that, it sounds well with Japanese tit. Hakusekirei is always flying in pairs with the contrast between white and black wings. Swallows fly at ultra-high speed. In late May, sparrows can meet chicks by looking at the fine Chunchun in the grassland.

It was a good season for a picnic in Paris. Please visit the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park in May.

Kanda festival is coming

[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo] May 5, 2017 12:00

At the Kanda Festival, a lively Hale festival comes after the end of Golden Week, and I am not an Edo kid, but I look back once again.

Kanda Myojin was founded about 1300 years ago in Tenpyo 2 (730), near Masakadozuka, Otemachi near the present Imperial Palace. Later, in 1616, the year of Ieyasu Tokugawa's death, he was transferred to Sotokanda, the current location of the castle's Omote unlucky direction, to expand Edo Castle.

Kanda Myojin is now famous as the guardian god of the 108 town associations in Chuo-ku, Chiyoda-ku, and Kanda Festival is one of Japan's three major festivals.

It is said that during the Edo period, the festival was allowed to enter Edo Castle (Imperial Palace).

This 5/13 is called the Shinko Festival, with a portable shrine (Daikoku-sama, Ebisu-sama, Masakado-sama) and a procession of era picture scrolls depart from Kanda-jinja Shrine, Ochanomizu, Otemachi, Akihabara, Higashinihombashi (lunch break), and go back to Kanda-jingu, Mitsukoshi-mae, My-dori.
→May 13 In the evening of Chuo-dori, there is no doubt that a towing called "Otsuki Matsuri" will join together (a large catfish, a large upholstery of Hanasaki-san in 2015) to further delight the eyes.

The Kanda Festival, which is displayed on the first floor of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, is also dancing for some reason.
Passing by spring, it's like summer, everyone, please stay in good condition.

Hitotsubago is a white flower 2017

[Silver] May 4, 2017 16:00

Hitotsubatago of Namiwa Inari Shrine, commonly known as Nanja Monja, has been blooming since April 27. The photo is as of May 2nd. I'm wearing Ebitsuka and leaning toward the sushi mound. "Hitotsubatago" also loves Edomae sushi. Behind the sushi mound, a lot of petals such as white rose flowers, "Hamayu", bloomed.

On May 2nd, we went to see Hitotsubago in Ginza 6-chome. Is there a lack of sunshine this year?

I couldn't find any buds on almost all trees. There were individual differences, and only one white flower bloomed.

Before and after shopping and eating, fans who want to see Hitotsubatago at Ginza 6-chome and neat white flowers of Nanjamonja, it is a flower that makes you feel the arrival of fresh early summer.

The reason why "Yoshida Shoin" is here. @ Hakozaki Park

[Edamame] May 4, 2017 12:00

The other day, I went to the lunch buffet at the Royal Park Hotel.

(Click here for the article at that time → /archive/2017/04/post-4276.html)

While chatting with a friend I went with, walk close to her workplace.

It's a great deal, so I don't usually go in a nearby park.

I thought I would let my daughter, Azuki play ...

I came to Hakozaki Park.

DSC_1045-1.jpg

There are a lot of koinobori, so I feel the season.

A child who is just small in time is a nap time? Because it was

There weren't many children of the same age, and they were all-you-can-play on the slide.

・・'- I found it

DSC_1051-1.jpg

Here you. It's a statue of Shoin Yoshida.

"Is it in my head?" Yeah.

I thought, "The place related to Mr. Matsukage is Jisshi Park in Kodemmacho?"

The prison house in Kodemmacho is the last place.

There are several monuments in Jisshi Park on the site of the site.

(↑ It has also been featured in articles by senior correspondents in past.)

Why are you here? ? I thought there was an explanation board next to it.

According to that.

At the end of Showa 12 (1937), a sixth grader at Hakozaki Hirone Elementary School in this area.

Mitsuko Iwai died of illness.

Mitsuko, who has excellent grades, is particularly impressed by Yoshida Shoin's way of life.

Before he died, he told his parents to build a statue of Yoshida Shoin in school with his savings.

It may have been in such an era.

It may be an idea that children at this time do not come out easily. )

The parents realized this wish even though their lives were difficult, and on March 22, 1938 (1938).

The unveiling ceremony was held grandly.

At that time, this story was awarded by the Tokyo Nichi-Nichi Shimbun as an "educational beauty story".

The unveiling ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education at the time and officials from Tokyo City.

The statue was produced by Ranzan Takeyama, and the word "Mr. Matsukage" was impressed by this story.

It was written by the Minister of Naval Sankichi Takahashi.

In 1944, elementary schools were closed after evacuation to escape the war.

However, this statue has been watching Hakozaki-cho in this area all the time.

As a mother

"Mitsuko-chan, I'm sorry. My mother would have been hard."

That's what I think first.

I hope that her thoughts will protect the children of this area.

I couldn't help but wish.

[Sam] May 3, 2017 12:00

DSC00023ELS'.jpg

R0028678LRSG.jpg May when the wind is fragrant. It's finally a season when the fresh greenery is dazzling.

In the Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, under the sun, the colors are slightly different, and you are fascinated by the color of the green gradation woven by the sprouting young leaves under the sunshine that increases in the sun every day.

Among them, "Japanese maple" (also known as "Iroha maple"), a fresh young leaf that has just sprouted, heard that there are about 25 trees in the park. The beauty of "" is exceptional.

When viewed through the sun's light, pale green hue overlaps, highlighting even more delicate beauty.

With the background of Ochiyaya in Nakajima, Ochiyaya in Matsu, and Ochiyaya in Tsubame, the appearance of "green red leaves" shines is a unique scene of our garden.

Every day, the refreshing light green color gradually becomes darker.

Green is a color that makes you feel the vitality, it seems to have been embraced by nature's pockets, and heals the viewer's heart.

Carp streamer

[Sam] May 2, 2017 14:00

DSC00028ELS'.jpg

DSC00020RSG.jpg Of course, the carp streamer that swims magnificently in the sunny May sky in the suburbs is also attractive, but the carp streamer that rises in the open space in the city center is also a different taste.

The Dango Festival is a traditional event celebrating the growth of boys since ancient times.

There is a legend in China that "a carp that has climbed the waterfall called" Longmen "in the upper reaches of the Yellow River can become a dragon and climb to heaven." It is transmitted as a symbol of success.

In the Edo period, the common people of Edo looked like carp as a banner, and "There is nothing on the belly and chest" in view of the above origins, against the samurai whose armor was decorated in inner room and the flag was decorated outdoors. It is said that he set up a carp streamer.

A carp streamer swimming in the "Ikesu" at the atrium of Tsukuda Park.

The Tsukishima area (Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, Harumi), where population growth is remarkable even in Chuo-ku.

Saturday, April 29 is the first day of GW, and the park is more crowded with parents and children than ever before, and cheers are echoing.
