[Sam] Nov. 26, 2017 18:00

DSC01382ELS'.jpgDSC01391RS'G.jpg "Mikimoto Jumbo Christmas Tree" has been popular as a winter tradition in Ginza for nearly 40 years until 2014, and ended with regrets following the rebuilding of the main store.

On November 23, it was newly reborn as "MIKIMOTO GINZA TREE 2017" at Mikimoto Ginza 4-chome Main Store, which opened in June this year.

This year's tree is an installation where urea crystals (organic compounds) cover the surface of a tree-shaped object like snow. The pearl white tree shines further with the production of light, and decorates a large show window with a height of 7m and a width of 7m.

Date: November 23-December 25

It is the birth of an evolved new feature that colors the city of Ginza during this season.

Ginkgo Yellow Leaves 2017

[Sam] Nov. 23, 2017 18:00

DSC01318ELS''.jpgDSC01314RS'G.jpg On November 17, the Tokyo Regional Meteorological Observatory reported one of the Japan Meteorological Agency's biological seasonal observation information, "Ginkgo Yellow Leaves".

3 days earlier than normal and 4 days earlier than last year.

Ginkgo on the Green Road at Hamacho Park Entrance is also completely colored and is at its best.

It shows a different landscape from season to season, but autumn is the best.

It is wonderful to be exposed to the sunlight of the direct light and shine golden, but the backlight yellow leaves seen through the sun's light are delicate and quaint.

The row of ginkgo trees that make you feel a sense of perspective and three-dimensional depth is a masterpiece.
