There are many works of art with the title of the street name and place name in Chuo-ku, but the white eyebrows are "Tsukiji Akashicho" by Kiyokata Kaburagi (1878-1972). Kiyokata 49 years old, 1927. The wind of Akashicho, which was a foreigner's settlement, was like an ideal home for him. There are masts of merchant ships coming to the sea, and morning glory is entangled in the light blue paint wooden fence. Kiyokata recalled in the morning mist standing in Akashicho's morning fog, a beautiful woman with the hair of Igirisu, a woman named Rohan Kouda's "Tentsunami" I'm drawing. The model is Masuko Egi, who became a master with the introduction of Kyoka Izumi, and the pose that stirs the sleeves in the cold air of early autumn sketches Kiyoko, the eldest daughter. By the way, there is no street name "Tsukiji Akashicho", but the artist wrote, "I dared to name it from the feeling of Goro and Reality."
The response when this work was announced at the 8th Teijin Exhibition was great, and many people still won the Imperial Art Academy Prize, as a masterpiece of modern beauty paintings, and as a masterpiece of Kiyokata who later received the Order of Culture. Continue to attract. My best friend Kyoka wrote the sentence "Kenchan is great! ] And won this picture. (Kiyokata's real name is Kenichi) "... I felt it was good this time. And above all, it is the appearance of euphemism, Kiyoshu, lively, and people. In addition, the tenderness of the chest, the emotion of the sleeves, the care of the shoulders ..."
Kiyokata was born in Kandasakumacho in 1878, and died in 1972 under the snow of Kamakura City (currently Kaburagi Kiyokata Memorial Museum). I have moved more than 30 times during that time, but I spend most of my childhood, small and adolescents between the ages of 1 to 17 and 22 to 34 in the current Chuo-ku area. The environment where I was born and raised laid the foundation for the subsequent Kiyokata art. In addition to "Tsukiji Akashicho", there are many representative works that cannot be cut off from the address in the city. "Morning and evening Yasui", "Sardines" and "Tsukiji River" are the neighborhood of the downtown area of childhood, and "Ms. Itsuha's Tomb" was at Tsukiji Honganji at that time. "Sanyutei Encho Statue" is a sketch of oral performance for quick recording at his home at 11-11-chome, Kyobashi Kibikicho (Chijono Rigiku House). "Noveler and Illustrator" is the first meeting with Kyoka at home at 1-15, Kibikicho. Except for "The Tomb of Ms. Itsuha", I drew it after leaving Chuo-ku. (In particular, "Noveler and Illustrator" is a work of 1951, 50 years later.) Kiyokata painter who is closely related to Chuo-ku, and if there is a system before his birth, he is an "honored inhabitant" without complaining.
By the way, this masterpiece "Tsukiji Akashicho" has not been released in art exhibitions or retrospective exhibitions for more than thirty years because it is a private collection. I'd like to see it again while I'm alive.

Chuo Elementary School and kindergarten, which are currently being rebuilt with the aim of completion next fall.
On the walls surrounding construction, along with progress
Photo of "Chuo Elementary School / Kindergarten History Museum".
The exterior of the former Gunju Elementary School.
It was a splendid building with three stories since then.
The scenery of lunch in the early Showa period.
The stylish wisteria basket is wonderful.
Also in the early Showa period
Dry cloth friction in the schoolyard.
The "History Museum" also has photos of children and old maps.
There were also stationery shops and candy shops nearby.
A bicycle repair shop that the good couple is still doing.
There is a post office with a cozy atmosphere.
In addition, near this Chuo Elementary School, where traffic is small, is small.
I think it would be great for walking.

By the way, the other day, I chose a yukata cloth at Chikusen-san and was very satisfied Saturday afternoon.
Similarly, with a tailored yukata and a wonderful obi in hand, with a good mood boss, we like an Edo kid who is already enjoying the dusk in early summer!
However, the soba shop, which has been favored everyday, is closed everywhere. I'm sorry.
I was confused, and decided to head to Isehiro of Kyobashi with the connection of Edo's "Iki". There's a little distance from Chikusen-san, so if you get off at Let's Go! "Kyobashi 1-chome" with a local foot / metro link, the shop is right there. It's a really convenient bus.♪
This is the exterior. If you walk a little, it is close to Yaesu and Ginza, and it is located in Kyobashi, lined with high-rise buildings, creating a nostalgic atmosphere only here.
It was founded in 1921. I feel the history. By the way, it was the year when Takashi Hara was assassinated at Tokyo Station (... don't young people know?) 。
Because it's Saturday night, it's almost full of reservations.
I was asking if it was a counter seat, but it was the best seat to be called "It's Yakitoriya!" in front of the yakiter! (Because there is a glass partition in front of the seat, you don't have to worry about moky in front of your face.)
We had 12 full courses. As the name implies, "Taste the whole bird", you can taste the birds so that the wings are likely to grow after the meal!
Large enough to bake in Bincho charcoal with strong thermal power. It may be perfect for Edo kids who don't like to make a mistake.
6,300 yen, which starts with bamboo sashimi and tastes chicken soup. For those who want to enjoy more casual, lunch is recommended! The full lunch course is 3600 yen with 9 soups. "3-bondon", which is limited to one hour from 13:00, is a great deal for 1,000 yen on a popular thigh meat, dumplings, and bamboo sashimi!
A splendid wood carving sign displayed outside the shop. If you look closely, it is carved to cut off the outside of the letters, and the letter "Isehiro" is raised.
It's the first shopkeeper's commitment to saying, "It's absolutely useless to hollow the name of the shop!" I see, the stubbornness of Edokko is transmitted.
However, why is there no photo of the most important yakitori this time? Before I held my camera, I wanted to eat freshly baked sweets immediately, so I came out!
I think I'm the most Edo kid. It's hard (laughs)

Every time summer comes, "Oh, I'm going to wear a yukata this year. But it's already made a long time ago ... what should I do? "
This year! This is the first time in a few years.
We visited Chikusen from Kofune-cho, Nihonbashi. It is a long-established store founded in 1842.
In 1901 (Meiji 34), a theory of "Tokyo specialties" published by the public interest company. "If you don't wear the dye of" Chikusen ", if you don't wear it, you still don't have to talk about the street." It has been stated. I understand how far Mr. Zhusen has been recognized by the world.
This unique name is "Tsukusen". Everything is derived from the fact that the first generation Sennosuke's back was low and was called "Chichikurin's Sennosuke". I feel the history of Kabuki actor Ichikawa Sadanji, who shortened this and named it "Zukusen".
By the way, when you finish your greeting, cloths appear one after another! All of them are very nice.
Mr. Kojima, who is friendly to veterans, will look one after another to match my atmosphere. "That's wonderful" "This can be astringent" ... I'm getting more and more eyes and I can't easily decide (laughs).
During my busy schedule, I also greeted the representative Fumio Ogawa. He is the fifth generation and is an Edo kid with a smart smile!
Here is a valuable shot (I am nervous ...)
It takes about a month to finish. Come back in a wonderful yukata!
By the way, the rainy season is already over. ♪ Where shall I wear it? Bon Odori? Shall we watch Kabuki in theater?
Chuo-ku is full of fun summer events!
Why don't you have a “smart” summer with Chikusen's yukata in your local Chuo-ku?

Today, we took a walk from TCAT in Hakozaki to Kiyosubashi. Ayame could not be found, but in Nakasu, I found Kotohira-gu Shrine.
There is a monument under the torii gate.
Nakasu reclaimed the floats of the Sumida River in the Edo period in the early Meiji era, and Funatama and Kotohira Shrine are enshrined here, and it is widely worshiped as a god of industrial promotion. However, unfortunately, he returned to Karasuari due to the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, and was unable to reach the momentum of reconstruction. Kanjiro Yuasa's dream pillow became an opportunity, consulted with each other, and worshiped the spirit of Shikoku Kotohira-gu Shrine. lucky day and built a temple in guardian angel, 195 years.
In the first place, the meaning of Nakasu is "a place where earth and sand accumulates in the river and looks like an island." The history was reclaimed by Kanma Magome in 1771 (1771), and is connected to Hamacho. In 1772 (1773), Nakasu Shinchi was completed, and around 1775 it became a entertainment district lined with restaurants and other places. The Sumida River has been flooded many times in sediment from upstream. The luxury era of the Tanuma era. In 1789 (1789), To Nakasu, which was demolished and reed, was promoted by Sadanobu Matsudaira, promoted by the reform of Kansei.
From 1856 (1856) to 1858 (1858), the first ukiyo-e artist Hiroshige Utagawa painted "Mitsumata Wakare no Fuchi", but this picture is Nakasu with reeds.
In the first year of the Meiji era (1868), as described above, Kotohira Shrine was enshrined, returned to Karasuari in the Great Kanto Earthquake on September 1, 1923, and then rebuilt in 1954 (1854). Right.
At this time, the names of the people who donated were Ishigaki of Kotohira Shrine? ? ? If you look at it,
The torii gate is Shinsaku Nitta in 1954. On Ishigaki, there are the names of Shigejiro Kuraya and many other restaurants and related parties. There are many names I've heard, and you can also study the history of the Nihonbashi area. Some of them were restaurants with names listed in the existing Guinness Book. In 1956, "Toto Shokutsu Meike Soroku" was issued, and as of June 19, today, "Kuradashi Kono!" Is being held at Chuo Ward Folk Tenmonkan. You can see the names of famous restaurants at the time. Well, how many do you know? http://www.chuo-museum.jp/webmuseum/search_result_list.do?stype=0&startNo=1&inputkeyword=%E6%9D%B1%E9%83%BD%E9%A3%9F%E9%80%9A%E5%90%8D%E5%AE%B6%E5%8F%8C%E5%85%AD&classes=history&classes=archeology

Did you know that in the current Chuo-ku, there used to be a place where a thousand cars fall on a day during the Edo period?
All of them are places where many people gather, so it means that a large amount of money is used.
That kind of place was the Sangasho below.
(1) Fish banks along the banks of Nihonbashi (2) The play town in Nihonbashi Sakaimachi and Fukiya-cho (3) Yoshiwara (Shin-Yoshiwara) prospered as a castle town ※The first playhouse in Edo began when Saruwakaza raised a tower in Kyobashi in 1624, and then moved to Negimachi (Nemachi, now Nihonbashi Horidomecho) and Sakaimachi (now Ningyocho) at the order of the Shogunate. Has been relocated.
By the way, Shijo-cho and Yoshiwara were originally located in the neighborhood of the current Ningyocho, but after the great fire of Edo in 1657 (1657), "the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era (furisode fire)" in 1659 (1659) Moved to the back of Asasakusa. In 1659, the Ohashi Bridge (Ryogoku Bridge), which was first bridged to the Sumida River, was completed on December 13 of that year.
Today's title "Takao Inari Shrine" tells the sad story of Takao Sendai, the second generation of the geisha tower "Miuraya" in Shin-Yoshiwara that occurred in 1659. For me, the image of Sendai Takao is dubbed with the Oiran "Nokaze" that appears in the popular TV drama "Ni-jin".
A passage spoken in the pillow of Rakugo's "Sendai Takao / Ukiyodoko". "Oh, yeah, I've always said that this person wants to leave his name. Well, it's not easy to say what he did, and that the name will remain. I don't say that there's no name left. Well, there are quite a few Oiran riddles left their name. Oh, in the past, in this o, oh Yoshiwara, it was said that pine was about the pine, and he sold very insight. And the customer also said they paid a lot of money and were willing to buy that insight." What a story that starts with?......。
To sum up this story, Sendai 620,000 stones Tsunamune Date receives the second generation Takao of Manji in Miuraya, the so-called Sendai Takao, and later takes him to Shiba's Shimoyashiki by boat, Mitsumata (the current Kiyosu Bridge on the Sumida River) It is said that there was a slashing it on the street. (Left: near the present Mitsumata) There is also a popular theory that Takao had a affair named Shigesaburo Shimada, so he did not listen to the Tsunamune, and he contracted Tsunamune with twenty gold, the same weight as Takao's weight.
It is said that Takao's body drifted a few days later on the shores of Kita-Niihori in this area of Okawabata (Sumida River), and the monk who had set up hermitage at that time was withdrawn and buried thickly. The sympathy of the people gathered at the pitiful end of Takao, built a company there, worshiped her divine spirit Takao Daimyojin, and made it Takao Inarisha. It is very rare for Inari-sha in Japan that now has a real divine spirit (actual skeleton) as enshrined deity.
Location of Takao Inari (Nihonbashi-Hakozaki-cho, Chuo-ku: right next to IBM's office) In the Meiji era, there were Inari Shrine and the Hokkaido Pioneering Envoy Tokyo Branch Office (later the building at the time of the opening of the Bank) in this area. Later, along with the construction of the current Mitsui Warehouse, shrine hall was moved to its current location with sacred object of worship.
A phrase that Takao is said to have given to Hou Sendai "You are now around Komagata."
The grave of Sendai Takao is located next to the entrance of the Danya Cemetery in Jodo sect, Asakusa, Taito-ku.
