The body is decayed in Nobe of Musashi, and the Yamato soul 21 times Takeshi (Yoshida Shoin)
It was near noon on October 27, 1859, that Yoshida Shoin (1830-1859), a revolutionary thinker of the late Tokugawa shogunate who had trained many rebels, was executed at the Temmacho prison (now Nihonbashikodenmacho 3-5).
In May of this year, Hagino Noyamagoku was sent to Edo by the order, and on July 9, he was called at the Shogunate Rating Office and entered Temmacho. Suspirations such as the relationship with Umeda Unhama will be cleared, but they will be guilty of death because they will open a measure for victory during the old and middle age. The slashed was Asaemon Yamada (Yoshitoshi Seventh), and he said that the end of Shoin was dignified and wonderful. The remains of Shoin are buried from Kozukahara to Wakabayashi-mura, Ebara-gun (currently Wakabayashi, Setagaya-ku) by gatekeepers. This was the land of Mori family, and in 1882, Shoin Shrine was founded on the grave. In 1907, Shoin Shrine was founded in Hagi, but both enshrined deity and Yoshida Shoin (Torajiro Yoshida Norikata Fujiwara) and the annual festival is October 27.
The Temmacho Shimogoku in Shoin was the second time since the attempted Shimoda smuggling incident (1854), but as in the first time, it seems that he was treated quite well thanks to his friend and gatekeeper. The prisoner Yoshigoro Numazaki and the prison graduate Kinroku, paid tribute to Shoin and helped. A book of the will, "Remorse Record", which begins with the resignation written at the beginning, is entrusted to Numazaki and is still present at Hagi Shoin Shrine.
The Temmacho prison was abolished in 1875, but the site was no one who lived as a devastating land, and there is a story in "Old Mon Nihonbashi" that Shigure Hasegawa's father refused to give it for free.) Temples, parks and schools are available. Currently, it is a temple such as Daianrakuji Temple, Jisshi Park, and Jushi Square. A monument engraving the resignation of Shoin is on the northeast side of Jisshi Park. At the ruins of the execution site in the southeast corner of the prison mansion, you can see the found amount of the casting of the Enmei guardian of children and travelers of Daianrakuji Temple and Tesshu Yamaoka's book "Tame Prison Dead Group Recession" at the foot of Jizo.
At Jisshi Park, when lunch comes, people working in the neighborhood eat lunch and spread newspapers. The old abominable place is now a bright resting place.

This project, which was started with the aim of rediscovering the charm of Chuo-ku through comparison between the Sumida River and the friendship river Seine in Paris, has also reached "Part 5".
This time, the theme is "Tower".
Speaking of the Tower in Paris, it's a well-known [Eiffel Tower].
Built in conjunction with the World Exposition held in 1889, the tower was named Eiffel Tower under the name of one of the proposers, Gustave Eiffel. At present, the height of the tower is 324 meters. Even after more than 100 years, its innovative design and personality accentuates the landscape of Paris.
It was originally planned to be dismantled in 20 years, but has escaped from military necessity and has continued to this day. The tower, which was initially strongly opposed to building as "distributing the dignity of Paris," is now completely familiar with the landscape, and the Seine area in this neighborhood was registered in World Heritage in 1991.
Of course, Tokyo Tower has long towered as a symbol of Tokyo. It was completed in 1958 (Showa 33), when post-war reconstruction began in earnest. 332.6 meters high.
The background of many movies and novels has remained in the memory of Japanese people. The tower is built in Minato-ku, but from the viewpoint of the theme of this time, "view from the river", it can be said that it is one of the scenery of Chuo-ku. The appearance of [Tokyo Tower] seen from the bridge and on the boat seems adorable.
The Tokyo Sky Tree, which is scheduled to open in May next year, has a total height of 634 meters. As an independent tower, of course, it boasts the highest height in the world.
This location is Sumida-ku. However, the view from the Sumida River in this tower is very picturesque. It is good to look up close in the area of Asakusa, but when you go down the Sumida River and enter Chuo-ku, it looks just right height and blends into the surrounding town scenery. It will produce many stories from now on.
It is a mysterious common point that each of the two cities has a tower that becomes a "face", and the view from the river invites people to relax. It is a season when you can see the tower rising in the clear sky dignifiedly.

Tomonari, the starting point of the Gokaido, this area developed as the center of Edo Castle Town for transportation and commerce. The bridge was rebuilt many times, and even when the current bridge was rebuilt as a stone bridge in 1911 (1911), it also served as a symbol of the Imperial Capital and was built as a robust and modern bridge. Nagasakiya I'm going out now (Kawayanagi at that time)
Nagasakiya, Nihonbashi Honishicho
(Katsushika Hokusai)
The common people of Edo seem to be curious about the nanbanians in Japanese houses.
Some fathers are trying to show their children by putting their shoulders on their shoulders.
This happens once a year (once every four or five years in the late Edo period), Nagasakiya (near 4-2 Nihonbashi Muromachi) where Mr. Dutch trading post (Capitan) who came to Edo from Dejima in Nagasaki stays.
During their stay, Edo scholars and cultural figures visited this building, absorbing knowledge of Western civilization from doctors and scholars accompanying Capitan.
On the other hand, the accompanying scholars observe and record the Japanese culture, flora and fauna that they have seen and heard along the way, and after returning to their home country, they publish them together in books.
Siebold, a German doctor and naturalist, was one of them, and during his stay in Edo, he met, instructed, and influenced Dutch scholars.
The statue of Siebold is located at Akatsuki Park in Chuo-ku (7-19-1 Tsukiji).
It seems that Siebold's daughter Ine's open maternity hospital was here in Tsukiji.
The background is the St. Luke's Tower.
There is no Nagasakiya anymore, but the plate of the Nagasakiya ruins stands at JR Shin-Nihonbashi Station Exit 4 facing Edo-dori.
In Edo under isolation, Nagasakiya in Nihonbashi was the only window where you could see the world.
For Nagasakiya, I'm familiar with "Edo was still a isolation or Dutch inn Nihonbashi Nagasakiya" (Kazuo Katagiri, Kikkawa Hirobunkan).
