Bettara City will be held (October 19 and 20)

[Mikazuki] September 30, 2009 17:00

The events I have been looking forward to every year since I started living in Nihonbashi are Setomono Market in August, Betara City in October, and Ningyo Market in November.

When Betara City comes, I feel autumn, and autumn is autumn of appetite.coldsweats01

Bettara City has about 400 open-air streets on October 19 and 20 every year, regardless of the day of the week, from around Nihonbashi Muromachi at Mitsukoshimae Station to Takarada Ebisu Shrine in the direction of Kodemmacho. There are many foods and alcohols, as well as pickles.

Betara-shi. jpg

By the way, the children are very lively, such as scooping goldfish and shooting, and the mikoshi is being vigorous in alleys crowded like a crowded train.happy01

What I recommend is that you always get fresh and beautiful flowers at a very low price while there are many food shops, and that the surrounding shops sell bags and daily necessities according to the city of Betara. We sell goods at really cheap prices, so we look for bargains.

It's from 12:00 to 21:30, so why not come to Betara City, a feature of autumn, even if you return home from work?

Häagen-dazs ★One of the largest ice cream specialty stores in Japan

[Mapo ★] September 15, 2009 09:00

Hergendaz la Maison Ginza, which opened on July 17 in Ginza.
It has four floors above ground and two floors below ground, and seems to have inspired mansion in Ginza.

Lunch has just begun on August 31, and I went on September 3.

The store arrangement is luxurious ~ Ginza as expected! It's a luxurious feeling that I don't think it's a Hergendatz.

There are 3 kinds of lunch for galette lunch.

Choose the most plain eggs, bacon and cheese galettes.
It was 1300 yen with drinks and ice cream.

The galette was very delicious.

The ice was also frozen in the skin.

Looking from the second floor, three kinds of puddings were selling like flying.
I'm stuck in a macaron, so I bought an ice cream sandwiched between macaron.
The name is Macaron Biju. Biju means gemstone in French.

RIMG0248.JPG

The contents of macaron are iced! It may be lighter and more delicious.
It would be nice to have a bite-sized place too. It was 1575 yen for 5.

There was a line on the way back. It's going to be a new attraction in Ginza~♪

Really "Phantom Yokan,"

[Satsuki Yanagi] September 11, 2009 09:00

I'm already familiar with you.wink

The street on the south side of the intersection from amazake Yokocho in Ningyocho is lined with very famous line shops.

In the last few days, it has become easier to spend, so I've been going to have Oyakodon, saying 'That' Tamahide's strongest line ... ... ... ...

Before the report, I eyefound such a signboard, so I would like to see it first (Gomennasai if you knowsweat01).

tanizaki3.jpg tanizaki4.jpg

Yes, from the amazake Yokocho intersection foot→ "Cafe Sokaiseiken" → "Western Food Raifukutei" → "Tamahide," → If you go withfoot "Western Shoku Koharuken", you will find a historical site explanation board of the birthplace of Junichirou Tanizaki. When I looked up on the stone slab as "Fu" ...

tanizaki1.jpg

"Phantom Western Kannoyuki" and azuki-colored signboard jumpedflair into my eyes My favorite eyes of sweet things are nailed to this azuki-colored signboardlovely. The name of the restaurant is "Snow Snow"? Or the name of the product? ・... If it was a product name ... A Western Kan with the name "Snow Snow" is a splendid thing with the motif of the four sisters of the story ... "Tsuruko" "Sachiko", "Yukiko" and "Taeko" are all imagining thatconfident there are four types of flavors inspired by each of them! And then Where is this signboard shop, Isign02 looked for a nearby place, but I couldn't find such a "wagashi" shop or "sweet shop" ...bearing So I was sorry to ask the dispensing pharmacy on the first floor of the building where this sign was hung.

tanizaki2.jpgIt seems that there are quite a few people who ask the same question as me (somehow happy because I have friendshappy01), and depending on the place where I answered with a smile "Hi-Hi" ... . As you can imagine, in the past, there was a place where Japanese sweets were made behind this building, and the former appearance of this pharmacy was a dealer. It's very disappointing that I wanted to see at a glance what kind of "phantom Western Kan" was like, rather than the remorse that I couldn't buy and get itweep.

In the true sense, it's a "phantom Western Kan"!

Then, it's "Tamahide"'s Oyakodon.

eitaro5.jpg We ordered "Ganso Oyakodon" ¥1500. You can arrange it by 13:00, so I went out slowly and lined up in a line around 12:30. I was able to get to my seat in about 30 minutes. Of course, we have a shared seatcoldsweats01. This time, a two-person office worker who was present said, "This is better than the super popular XX store!" (I also had the same opinion, secretly hit Unun. It's up happy01to you).

Town Walking “Industrial Course” Nihonbashi③

[Yurikamome] September 10, 2009 09:00

Wednesday, September 9 10:00-12:00 Tour participants 10 tourist association 1 correspondent 2 total 13 people

Kiya (knife) → Nihonbashi Kaishin (Tsukudani) → Bunmeido Nihonbashi Store (Castella) → Shigeru Kami (Hanpan, Kamaboko)

After receiving a fun and meaningful explanation, we had a tour of the inside of the store and had souvenirs, and toured the Nihonbashi area, lined with long-established large stores that continued from the Edo period to the beginning of the Showa era as Japan's first fish market.

2009_090909 Description at Kiya. JPG

Kubei Hayashi, the first Kiya Honke, was a medicinal dealer for the Toyotomi family, but the younger brother of Ieyasu's invitation, descended to Edo and opened a shop in Honmachi 2-chome.

Since the Osaka store was divided into two, the forest with the last name was divided into two and called "Kiya".

The difference between Kanto and Kansai kitchen knives in Tokyo has a round part in front of the blade.

In Kansai, the part in front of the blade is cornered.

How to sharpen kitchen knives

Use a commercially available cleanser to polish it.

The angle of the kitchen knife against the whetstone should be sharpened while keeping the same angle until the end.

※ The chrome stainless steel key ring with a picture of "Edo Nihonbashi", which was created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of its founding in 1792, is still gaining popularity among customers, so we still create the same one and distribute it to customers. We also received it.

2009_090909 Kai New Store. JPG

About 400 years ago, the beginning of Kaishin was dedicated to the palace with the specialty of Ise and Kuwana.

120 years ago, he opened a store in Tokyo with goodwill, and since then he has preserved the taste without mass production, and still cooks Tsukudani every day at the factory behind the main store. Except for the stirrer, it is manual work.

I visited the clam Tsukudani factory.

The tasting of hot clams boiled in soup stock was very delicious.

Only the participants discounted the products of your shop by 2 discounts, and I bought a lot of expensive Tsukudani.

Nihonbashi Bunmeido

The birthplace of Castella is the Iberian Peninsula, Spain.

In 1571, a Portuguese ship entered Nagasaki as a place of trade.

In 1592, Toan Murayama presented castella to Hideyoshi at Hizen Nagoya.

After watching the explanation of the castella manufacturing process in the video, we received delicious castella and tea.

  September 9 Shigeru Higami. JPG

Shigeru Kami

In 1596, Ieyasu Tokugawa opened a fish market in Nihonbashi, and the Muromachi area prospered as a fish shore.

The first was Kanzaki Yachoemon, and later became Saburo Shigeru again, and the owner named Shigesa Daidai.

From the Meiji era, he took Kanzakiya's "God" and Shigeru Saburo Shigeru's "Shigeru" and called himself "Kanmo".

"Half-pen," ...

Shark fins are said to be three bales, and during the Edo period it was one of Nagasaki Trading's export seafood and was an important export source of Edo shogunate.

The sharks after taking the "fin" were traded in a large number of fish markets in Nihonbashi, and the beginning was made by Kamabokoya using the manufacturing method of "Shinjo".

The half of Shigeru Kami is still made of shark body and yam.

It is manufactured underground in the store.

It seems that he paid "Okamaboko" only for the throne of Emperor Meiji, Emperor Taisho and Emperor Showa.

We had a taste of kamaboko.

"Oden" in the bag I bought as a souvenir was very delicious because it contains eight kinds of seeds.

2009_090909 Kami Shigeru Okami 2.JPG

The above photo shows "Okami" which supports a long-established store.

While talking to us, he taught us the importance of care and attention.

When he married himself, he worked on the spot.

The fact that such a person welcomes us at your store reminds us of the importance of the connection between people who are lost, as well as the feeling of buying Kamaboko in a long-established store.

This course is scheduled again on October 7 (Wednesday).

We are still accepting it. Please join us.

Delicious and cheap shop Part2

[Silver] September 8, 2009 18:00

I think everyone wants to walk around the city and take care of a delicious and cheap restaurant for daily lunch. Today, I'm starting Yasuaki Elementary School, walking to Ryogokubashi, and introducing restaurants and Japanese-style cafes that sometimes take care of me near my workplace.

Ginza Blossom (Chuo Kaikan)

You will be greeted by paradise bird flowers at the entrance and foliage plants of Monstera.

Ginza Blossom. jpg

When you enter the restaurant, there are a lot of delicious menus.

Ginza Blossom R2.jpg

The store manager's recommendation. Wagyu beef stew, ¥1200.

Brosam recommended 1.jpg

I'm a bowl of rice this week. Let's make it 600 yen for a handbill or a tuna sesame flavor bowl of ¥700.

Brosam recommended 2.jpg

Another recommendation of the store manager. Napolitan 600 yen.

Brosam recommended 3.jpg

Previously, when I came to a doctor's opera presentation, I had a beer and whiskey water during the intermission.

I received it, but it is also recommended for a little parka.

Would you like to have a tea at Tsukiji?

[Silver] September 8, 2009 18:00

About 100 meters north of Honganji Temple at Tsukiji Station, "Uogashi Meicha" was introduced.

There is a Japanese-style cafe called "Cha no Ji Club" that you are doing.

There was an errand near here, and last week I went three times in a row.

Tea Club. jpg

The calm inside of the store and the quiet smile of the clerk. I feel calm. Go up to the second floor

1.jpg in the actual tea club store

It changes every day. Today is a Western-style confectionery made by a Japanese confectionery shop in Tochigi.

Cake-style sweets coated with white chocolate matched perfectly with Japanese tea.

Instead of tea in a teapot, there are four cups of sweets, so you can spend a relaxing and quiet time.

Thank you very much, I'm sorry.

Tea fruit club menu jpg

Below is the tea ceremony on September 1st. The bean paste is wrapped in fertilizer. It's not too sweet, but elegant taste.

Tea fruit 1.jpg

We have been doing good tea for one week from September 1 and about one week from September 11.

(I'm sorry if the period changes!)

If you wish to visit Tsukiji, please have tea. You will be healed.
