"Harumi Wharf" in Harumi, Chuo-ku

[Mr.Chuo-ku] May 30, 2012 08:30

Did you know that luxury cruise ships and ships from Japan and abroad are berthed at Harumi Wharf in Harumi, Chuo-ku? It is said that this "Harumi Wharf" is used when an overseas sailing ship pays a courtesy call to Japan, or when the Antarctic observation ship "Shirase" departs or returns to the port.

When I went for a walk at Harumi Wharf on May 20, a luxury cruise ship was parked.
According to the seafarer, this ship leaves Kobe Port, goes around Japan around the left, stops at ports at key points, and as a major event, the `` Annular solar eclipse '' on May 21 It was to see from off the Pacific Ocean.

Here at Harumi Wharf, besides watching these when luxury cruise ships and ships are anchored, you can also go cameraup to the Harumi Passenger Terminal Observation Deck or have a barbecuebeer at Harumi Wharf Park. In addition, events such as the Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival will be held at the Tokyo Minato matsuri and Harumi Wharf Park off the coast of Harumi Wharf.

Harumi Wharf Park has a fountain and observation deck, and in the center of the park there is a monument to the New York New Jersey Garden, where trees were planted to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the sister port partnership between Tokyo Port and New Jersey Port in New York (↓).

A recommended shop in Tsukiji Outer Market "Ankuruko-chan"

[Apricot peony] May 25, 2012 08:30

I often ask, "I want to go to the market in Tsukiji, where should I go?"
In such a case, there are always things to say before introducing some recommended shops.
That is, "Tsukiji's market is a place where professionals come to buy in principle, and there are some of the finest and rare items that are difficult to obtain, but there are few (seldom) cheap prices and explosions!"

However, there are always exceptions in the world, and there are several shops that apply to this (seldom).

Among them, the best recommendation is "Ankuruko-chan".
Located on the first floor of the Tsukiji Kyoueikai Building, the corner of the intersection of Harumi-dori St. and Shin-ohashi-dori St.

ck1203_1205231.jpg

The unique name of the store that I would never forget once I heard was given because the previous president had a relative in Hawaii and was called "Ankuruko-chan" by the children there.
However, since they also sell black tea in the store, some customers thought it was "Ankle black tea".

The items lined up in the store are confectionery such as chocolate and cookies, coffee and tea, jam and canned food such as pasta, but most of them are imported.
In the cardboard in the front, the so-called outlet product, which is "difficult" in the package such as label scratches and can crushing on the inventory of the importer.
The contents are exactly the same as usual, and the price is super "extra cheap"! In some cases, there may be a half price or less.
In particular, if you go to buy it again to give it to your friends, it may already be sold out.
But as soon as new bargains come out, I can't keep an eye on them even if I go there often.
Please drop in when you come to the out-of-market in Tsukiji.

YEBIES BAR Ginza 2-chome store is recommended for beer street.

[kimitaku] May 23, 2012 08:30

YEBIES BAR is recommended for light drinking at Ginza 2-chome.

2TYOUME.jpg Turn the carce at the Ginza 2-chome intersection and turn right at De Beers on the next gas lamp street to see Ebisu Viya Hall.

At dusk, go home from work.

I was drawn to the neon of the shop and went down the staircase.

Neon EBISU YORUNO.jpg

A lot of calm, "Welcome" voice with a smile welcomed me.
It's a very good impression.

The inside of the store is colored with brown touch. The lighting on the ceiling is also colored with non-sticky brightness. You may be using LEDs.

I'm alone, so I'll sit at the counter.

There is a golden beer server on the right side.

The clerk was handling the order of beer coming one after another, but the glass glowed beautifully in the lighting.

・・... Looking at the clerk who pours beer hard, I reminded me of "Pilsen" in the Kojunsha building in the past.

bi-ru.jpgAt that time, the craftsman who sweated and poured beer was impressive, and when I talked to him, "I'm the only one." "What should I do if I stop?" What a good thing.

・・・ "Pilsen" was so atmosphere at the beginning of the store. But the former "Pilsen" was also astringent and had a special taste. ・・・・・・・・

I ordered an amber ale, and a baked bishop.

Even though it is crowded with customers, the voice of the clerk passes well and you can order with confidence.
The inside of the store is unified in beer color, so it's very calm.

 Beer is here.

burusuto.jpg In addition, Bisbrust, beer with a slightly sweet scent on a thirst throat is also different. It goes well with bisbrust and invites beer.
The second cup is the half & half of Amber Yale and Ebisu stout ordered an Amber x Stout.

wafuukapu.jpg

 I ordered a Japanese-style caprese,

The cream cheese is cut, sprinkled with purple leaves, and olive oil is added to the tomatoes.

The mellowness of the cheese stood out with the faint fragrance of Shiso, and in a blink of an eye, the beer became empty.

Master Ebisu.jpgWhen I asked the clerk a lot of stories, he answered with a smile.

Since it was just opened, he was paying attention to customer service and said that beer would be especially delicious.

After leaving the store, the Pilsen beer master wondered what he was doing now.

The Ebisu Beer Hall has a long history, and in 1899, it still retains the same atmosphere as before.

If you are alone with your lover and your family, we recommend a seat next to the server.

Nordic real

[Edo Kenshi] May 22, 2012 16:00

RIMG0020.JPG RIMG0053.JPG  RIMG0029.JPG

The name of the store is "Nordic artisan". The name of the company is very unique and "only the real thing of North Europe Co., Ltd."

As the name implies, it is an interesting and wonderful shop that really deals only with Scandinavian real things.

There are a lot of Danish things, especially because the president made efforts to land Lego's toys in Japan. Pen cases, back belts, sifs, etc. are at the highest level of leather products, and there are many fans because they do not lose their shape when used or used. There is only a mug made of birch wood bumps in this shop. The more you use them, the better the color and the more you use them, the only Scandinavian real thing made by Scandinavian artisans will become familiar. It is a fun shop at home where the president, wife and son are doing it. It's fun to listen to various stories of Scandinavian, and it's also a study to be able to listen to professional stories that are particular about the making of Scandinavian craftsmen.

"Ryomufuda" at Matsushima Shrine

[Old Counselor] May 22, 2012 08:30

Why don't you entrust your dreams to Matsushima Shrine's "Ryomufuda"!

I tried to practice this. Just one year ago, I passed the national exam with a pass rate of about 2% in my late 60s (= old ginseng) thanks to the benefit of "Ryomufuda".

The method of praying is as follows.

First, get "Ryomufuda" (= ¥ 500) at Matsushima Shrine.
And the day before the important day, fill out the form inside the bill with wish. This paper depicts mythical and young Okuninushi (= Oguro Ebisu) by the flash of Miyashi.
And put the completed bill under the pillow at night to sleep.
The next morning, when you put this bill in the prayer box for fulfillment of the good dream bill at Matsushima Shrine, Miyaji will strictly hold the Masamu fulfillment festival in worship hall.

After this ceremony, the bill will formally become the "Ryomufuda = amulet" where God dwells. This is derived from the legend that "a good dream with Okuninushi will be a real dream."
