The opening of the Kabukiza Theater "GINZA Hanamichi"

[kimitaku] March 28, 2013 15:44

To commemorate the opening of the Shin Kabukiza Theater, a parade "Ginza Hanamichi" was held on the morning of the 27th at Ginza Chuo-dori, Chuo-ku, by 60 young Kabuki actors, including Tokizo Nakamura and Ebizo Ichikawa.

P1000018-1.jpgAt the event, entitled "Century's Training," 32,000 Kabuki fans gathered and cheered in the windy light rain.

From Ginza 1-chome to just before Matsuya, if the weather was fine, the parade started at 10:00 and ended at 11:00, with the wind fluttered and the departure was greatly delayed in the light rain, and started after 10:30. The security police officers ask the audience to take the lead and fold their umbrellas. Everyone knocked on the umbrella, everyone became wet rats, and watched the start with a strong spit. The announcer was Mr. Tokumitsu.

 "Done,"

With the signal of the fireworks, the procession started. At that moment, the rain fell down, and cheers came from the starting point to Mizuho Bank, which I waited for.

At first, the actors looked down, looked up at the heavens, walked silently, but with the rise of cheers, smiled, broken face, and saw it, the audience, a woman shed tears, The old couple raised their hands and shouted to their favorite actors.

P1000029-1.jpg The speed of the march is very fast, and the audience from 1-chome rushed to 2-chome to chase it, 2-chome overlaps with 1-chome, 3-chome seems to overlap with 1-chome, and the sidewalk gradually became hot There was no footstep.

P1000030-1.jpgThe march time ended for more than 10 minutes, but everyone who supported this parade was really happy to see and support the century's "drenting".

P1000045-1.jpg The new Kabukiza Theater also blends well into the atmosphere of Ginza while maintaining the atmosphere of the time based on plaster.

In addition, from Higashi-Ginza Station, you can enter without an umbrella even on rainy days, making it easy for customers.

The Kabuki performance will finally begin on April 2nd.

Night cherry blossoms around Tsukuda Island

[TAKK...] March 25, 2013 09:30

This year, cherry blossoms were in full bloom in various parts of Tokyo earlier than usual.

Around Tsukuda Island, where the Sumida River branches off from the Harumi Canal, there are many cherry blossom viewing spots in parks on the super embankment.

At night, in addition to the illuminated cherry blossoms, you can enjoy the waterside scenery of the lights of buildings, ships passing through the Sumida River, and shining bridges.

The monument at the site of the Ishikawajima Lighthouse in Tsukuda Park is also lit.

It imitates a nightlight built in 1886 by Junji Shimizu, a magistrate of Hitoshishoba.

You can see the Sky Tree in the upper reaches of the Sumida River.

At this time, "Sakura Special Lighting" was held, and it was colored with two types of light-ups, "Saki" and "Mai", which were switched every 15 minutes.

Every year, the cherry blossoms, which welcome people who start a new life in Tokyo in April, will fall off the people who leave Tokyo in March this year?

Are you worried? Cherry blossoms at Shinkawa Park

[Orii Mai] March 17, 2013 10:49

013.JPG 014.jpg

Today, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced cherry blossom information. In Tokyo, 3/17 flowering 3/25 is in full bloom.

I did it. In recent years, there are many days when the daily temperature difference is large and more than 10 degrees. The wind is also at this time.

So it's so strong! It seems that many people have heard the word smoke fog for the first time.

By the way, what about cherry blossoms in Shinkawa Park? The cherry blossoms on the right bank of Eitai Bridge, always the first ride.

It's on the photo. It's in full bloom. Please see the photo below for the Shinkawa Park embankment. 3/14 14:00 Photo

That's right. It seems that the buds are still a little hard. But it's going to be warm from tomorrow, so how about 3/17?

Is it? I'm looking forward to it. How about this year's cherry blossom viewing at Shinkawa Park?

Kibikicho Square-Kabukiza Underground

[Apricot peony] March 14, 2013 14:00

The new Kabukiza Theater is now less than a month to open.
The installation work of the tower in the front has been completed, and the mood is rising above.

As soon as possible, the subway Higashi-Ginza Station and the basement of the building were connected, and escalators and elevators were installed, making it very convenient.

ck1203_130313 (4). jpg  ck1203_130313 (8). jpg

And the nice thing is that a very fun space called "Kibikicho Square" was born underground!

ck1203_130313 (10). jpg  ck1203_130313 (2). jpg

This plaza is said to be considered in response to disasters, but if you go out of the subway ticket gate and go a little further, the space will first spread out, and from the high ceiling, the large Japanese lantern marked "Kabukiza" is falling.
ck1203_130313 (13). jpg  ck1203_130313 (11). jpg

There were quite a few people taking a commemorative photo in front of this Japanese lantern, so shooting here may become a standard in the future.

In the back, parasols are lined up on the bench, which is very convenient for meeting and resting.
The various shops are lined up on the wall, so it looks very spacious, but once the performance starts, I think it will surely be crowded with many people.

ck1203_130313 (15). jpg  ck1203_130313 (14). jpg

Rooftop gardens and galleries can be reached from here, but the opening has only opened, so it is still closed now.

By the way, what kind of shops are in the square is that first of all, it is a souvenir for lunch boxes that are indispensable for the ticket office, a local information corner, a combination cafe, a general store, a restaurant, and a play .

Above all, at the souvenir shop "Kaomise", there are many items that can only be purchased here, so you can get lost.

ck1203_130313 (17). jpg  ck1203_130313 (18). jpg

Starting with goods related to actors and Kabuki performances, he discovered a demonstration sale of Kintsuba, which was once in the theater, while fashionable packages of rice crackers and sweets were lined up.
Wow, I was happy to be able to eat again.
ck1203_130313 (1). jpg  ck1203_130313 (16). jpg

In addition, there is a corner of freshly baked bread next to it.
"Kumatori bean paste" has matcha in Ogura and seasonal cherry blossoms, so I think it is inevitable to eat it, but it is too delicious, so it seems that I will go out to the extent I intend to take it home as a souvenir .

ck1203_130313 (3). jpg ck1203_130313 (12). jpg    ck1203_130313 (5). jpg

In addition, the recommended item is "Early Roll Soft Cream" which I thought about.
A gem made by soft serve ice cream and crushing Kabuki fried rice cracker.
The sweetness of soft serve ice cream and the saltiness of Kabuki fried are matchless.

If you go out of this square using an escalator and elevator to the ground, it is exactly the front of Kabukiza Theater.

It's so fun that I'm going to shop and just forget the time, but I hope you don't forget the start time.

Chuo-ku Railway Monogatari <Extra Edition> "History of Mutual Direct Operation of Hibiya Line"

[Shitamachi Tom] March 9, 2013 09:00

The cold winter has finally reached the turning point of the season, and signs of spring have gradually spread. In each area of Chuo-ku, there will be more opportunities to feel spring with the buds of flowers and the scent of a little wind.denim

2013.3_ Hibiya Line (0)-2_R.JPGSpring is also a milestone season for transportation. This is mainly because the schedule revision will take place at this time. New schedules will be set according to demand and equipment conditions. This year, the revision will be implemented on March 16 at JR and private railways.

Speaking of topics in Tokyo, the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line and the Tokyu Toyoko Line will start mutual direct access. As a result, the Tobu Tojo Line and Seibu Ikebukuro Line will be able to interact with the five companies via the Fukutoshin Line, including Tokyu to the Minatomirai Line, further ahead. It seems that commercial battles are becoming active throughout the railway line in order to attract the flow of people.present

Tokyu (bound for Kitasenju).jpgThat doesn't seem to be very relevant to Chuo-ku, but that's not the case. First, measures such as increasing the number of trains will be implemented on the Yurakucho Line, which operates in parallel with the Fukutoshin Line. Rather, with the commencement of direct operation between the five companies this time, congestion during the rush of the Fukutoshin Line and Yurakucho Line is expected to increase, especially in the morning schedule. Please note that those who use the stations of the Yurakucho Line "Ginza 1-chome", "Shintomicho" and "Tsukishima" in the city.

In addition, the most shocking thing is that the direct connection between the Tokyu and Hibiya Line ends with the direct connection between the Fukutoshin Line and the Tokyu Toyoko Line. (The Tobu side will continue to be implemented.)

The Hibiya Line is also an important route for Chuo-ku. There are 7 stations in the city. Compared to 4 stations on the Ginza Line and 5 stations on the Toei Asakusa Line, it is also a familiar route. It is also familiar that the first train departs Hatchobori at 5:00.subway

2013.3_ Hibiya Line (4)_R.JPGIn the first place, the direct connection between the Hibiya Line, the Tokyu Toyoko Line, and the Tobu Isesaki Line started almost half a century ago in 1964 (Showa 39). It seems that the opening of the entire Hibiya Line was urgent to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics. Of course, we have also contributed to smoothing the rapid increase in the flow of people. It is also a pioneer in Japan's multi-track entry.

At that time, what was discussed was the length of the train to be used. Opinions were divided depending on whether to use a 18m car or a 20m car, but in the end, the 18m car claimed by the Keidan Subway (currently Tokyo Metro) was adopted because of the many curves. Today, most urban railways use 20m vehicles, so if you look closely, you will notice that the Hibiya Line vehicles have a short length.

2013.3_ Hibiya Line (5)-2_R.JPGFor commuters and students who go to the city center from eastern Saitama and northeastern Kanagawa prefectures, this system that allows direct access without transfer has been greatly welcomed and loved for a long time. However, after that, the railway network in Tokyo was further developed, for example, people who relied on the Hibiya Line were divided into JR Shinjuku Shonan Line, Subway Namboku Line, Subway Toei Mita Line, etc. As the relative value of the Hibiya Line began to decrease. Furthermore, it is thought that the role of the Hibiya Line will be greatly reduced due to the upcoming direct connection of the Fukutoshin Line.

In addition, due to the problem of the car length mentioned above, it can be said that Tokyu has decided to run a 18m car on the Toyoko Line from the comparison of loading capacity.train

20120817 Tokyu Car Corporation on the Hibiya Line _R.JPGAs a result, direct operation from the Hibiya Line to Kikuna will not be seen from March 16, and it is impossible to prohibit a slight loneliness. "To Kikuna" and "To Musashikosugi" will disappear from the destination display indicated on the timetable of each station.

At the same time, the operation of <Tokyu 1000 Series>, which had been on the Hibiya Line from Tokyu, is expected to end with this. Since it was operated exclusively for Hibiya Line direct use, I do not know whether it will be scrapped or converted to another company, but it is true that this Tokyu color will not be seen on the Hibiya Line.weep

Can you see the temporary train "Minatomirai-go" (Kitasenju-Motomachi-Chukagai), which was sometimes operated before?

It is natural that the operation of transportation will change with the times, but I would like to watch this milestone with gratitude, thinking about the history of direct operation of the Hibiya Line, which firmly supported the city access of Showa. You.confident

[Silver] March 1, 2013 12:00

My granddaughter virgowas so cute that I thought I would buy Hina doll, but I gave up buying Hina doll because of the custom that my wife's parents would buy it. The son and his wife have a small residence, so they want to wait a few years to buy Hina doll.

With that in mind, while walking along Ginza Street, I found it in the Tsuda family window.
