"Bus Day" event, a great success

[Koedo Itabashi] September 29, 2014 17:19

Take a sightseeing bus.

It was a longing event for children.

Just looking at the city from the high window is exciting.

The gaze of the people looking up was proud.

An event where various buses gathered was held on September 23 in Chuo-ku.

"Bus Festival 2014 in Harumi"

The venue is the lobby of the Harumi Passenger Terminal and a parking lot for large vehicles.

Buses as a convenient means of transportation have become more accessible.

Tokyo Bus (Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau), Odakyu, Keio, Keikyu, Tokyu, Kanto Bus

Vehicle display will have the highest tension.

If you wear a hat and sit in the driver's seat, the children will become drivers.

The stage equipment is a magic unique to a real car.

This event was held after the bus day on September 20.

Oh, there's a bus day.

In Japan, which has a 365-day anniversary, the bus day was October 1987.

It was decided at the bus operator meeting.

This is because Japan's first bus service started in Kyoto City on September 20, 1903.

It is surprisingly slow compared to rail transport, which started operation in 1872.

It would have taken a lot of years to get a bus operation to be established as a business.

The diorama of Tommytec's moving bus set up at the main venue was a must-see.

I knew the heart of the child (no, even adults) who stuck on the edge and stared at it.

There was also a hot Basma near, as the child who gripped the handle and sparkled his eyes.

The auction venue for parts.

I'm working while keeping in touch with my like-minded person on my smartphone.

Yuru-chara-style costumes, including the capital bus character "Minkuru", were popular with bus lovers.

Here around Harumi, the surroundings change every time I visit.

This large parking lot will also proceed with further changes in anticipation of 2020.

◆ Recruitment of Tokyo Metro "Tokyo Machisanpo" participants

[Sumida Fireworks] September 29, 2014 08:20

Tokyo Metro is currently recruiting participants for the walking event "Tokyo Machisanpo" to be held on October 25 (Saturday).
This event is held several times a year, but I often participate.
I would like to introduce it as one of the ways to enjoy walking around the town.

s_hanabi8-1.jpg

The walking route we are recruiting this time is as follows.

(start) Sumiyoshi Station on the Hanzomon Line → Kiba Park → Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine → Fudodou, Fukagawa → Ningyocho → Nihonbashi → Bank of Japan Currency Museum → Kanda Myojin → In front of Ueno no Mori Art Museum (goal)

The route starts from the downtown area of Koto-ku, crosses the Sumida River, enjoys the Edo atmosphere of Chuo-ku, passes through Kanda, and finishes in Ueno.
It can be said to be the best golden route to enjoy the atmosphere of downtown and Nihonbashi area.

I can't tell the details of the route until the day, but I can't tell you the details of the route.
The middle of the route will be in the Chuo-ku area.

In Ningyocho, it is good to walk around amazake Yokocho and stop by Koami Shrine, known as a power spot.
In Nihonbashi, it's a good idea to go to a long-established store, antenna shop, or a new choledo Muromachi.
Since it's Saturday, there are many shops that are open, so I think it's a good idea to have a meal.

s_hanabi8-3.jpg s_hanabi8-2.jpg

Many people participate, including the elderly, young people, couples, and children.
It is especially recommended for those who have never visited this area yet, or those who want to go but have no chance to go there.
If you finish, you will receive a completion prize in exchange for a questionnaire.

Applications can be made from postcards and websites until October 6 (Mon).
In the case of a large number of applications limited to 5,000 people, a lottery will be held.
(By the way, I've never been off.)

■Consequently: The photos used in this blog show the participants.

Most other than those are taken in advance before the meeting time. After the start

I played the role of a guard.

■Today, the participants listened eagerly to the story of the gallery and watched each work.

If you have never participated in the "Town Walking" tour, we hope that you will consider participating in the future.

Why don't you take a look at the American Meister shop?

[Mr.Chuo-ku] September 10, 2014 09:00

There is a “Rice Meister National Network” operated by the “Japan Rice Retail and Commercial Union Federation”, which is headquartered in Nihonbashi Kodenma-cho, Chuo-ku.

What is Rice Meister?

"Meister (MEISTER) means" master / master "in German. In Germany, a country of craftsmen, we have established a Meister system to nurture excellent engineers and have been operating strictly. Rice Meister is a qualification that can be said to be a doctorate of rice, so to speak, only those who have professional experience in rice, presided over by the Japan Federation of Rice Retailers and Commercial Unions." Ginza Sake Gallery Kojiya Sanshiro Sake Store

[Silver] September 2, 2014 14:00

On the way from Chuo-ku government office to Kyobashi Plaza, a new shop will open across the Suzuki Building.
The name of the shop is "Ginza Sake Gallery Kojiya Sanshiro Sake Store".

The business card received by the person in charge is printed with liquor teacher Reiichi Fujita.
A sake master is a word that you can't hear.

We asked about the concept of the shop, etc.
1) I want to support the country. I would like to introduce some unfamous, buried sake.

20140819 058.JPG

2) I want to teach you the right way to drink.
  I see, that's why you're a sake master. I have to become a disciple!

3) I like 100 views of Edo.
I hope you will also enjoy the sake of the 100 famous Edo scenery drawn by Hiroshige Utagawa.

4) I want everyone to eat fermented foods (koji foods) and notice their goodness. That's right.
Yes, there are a lot of fermented foods that are good for health, such as miso and salt koji. In the back, I think there is a space where you can study about alcohol.

In addition, he wants to provide a place where local vegetables can be sold immediately.

The store will open on September 3, 2014. Don't miss it!
