I feel like autumn in Afternoon Tea

[Shitamachi Tom] September 23, 2015 09:00

It's getting more and more autumn.

How do you enjoy the changing seasons?

The scenery in Chuo-ku will also further enhance the autumn color.

Mandarin (1)_R.jpgSpeaking of autumn, there are also names such as "autumn of art" or "autumn of sports", but the big attraction is "autumn of taste" that represents the season of fertility.
Since Chuo-ku is a "treasure trove of food", you can always touch various tastes in the city. I'm looking forward to the "taste tour" in the city in the coming season.

In order to enjoy the calm autumn mood, I enjoyed "Afternoon Tea" at the 38th floor [Oriental Lounge] near Mitsukoshimae Station in Nihonbashi. Just this day was my birthday, so I was able to feel rich.

When I visited the shop, people who spent gracefully in the soft afternoon sun seemed to blend into the scenery. Occasionally, I think it would be nice to have such a luxurious time.

Mandarin (2)_R.jpgEach plate of the tea set is lined with high quality items that the hotel boasts. Above all, scones that can be replaced have a moist and deep texture and are worth not being tasted elsewhere.

Furthermore, the lineup of tea is wonderful. Not only classics such as Ceylon and Earl Gray, but also seasonal original teas are substantial, so you can feel comfortable relaxing by the scent of black tea.

Mandarin (3)_R.jpgThe Nihonbashi area is now undergoing redevelopment, and new faces are increasing. On the other hand, long-established stores are also working hard. We hope that everyone will enjoy a wonderful time in a corner of such an attractive district.

Not only Afternoon Tea, but it's also nice to have lunch at a soba restaurant, and dinner after a walk in Twilight is the best. Let's enjoy "Autumn of Taste" for each one.

"Enjoy the Four Seasons of Edo" (City Tour 8)

[Marsha Horiuchi of Edo] September 16, 2015 16:00

Makoto Takeuchi, director of the Edo Tokyo Museum, participated in a fun course with a time-slip atmosphere to the Edo period.

Edo people who lived an eco-friendly life while getting close to nature, centered on the lunar calendar, even today.
There are lifestyle habits that have been passed down while changing their shape, but they are gradually forgotten.
It was also a time to feel lonely at the moment when I was inferior with mental margins.

〇 New Year's Day, First Sale, Inari-san, Umemi, Hinamatsuri, Cherry Blossom Viewing, Festival, Goldfish Selling, River Opening Fireworks, Mid-Autumn Moon, Eve Soba, Night Break Bell (Not at that time)

By the way, "Kidai Shoran" in the underground concourse of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, from Nihonbashi to Imagawa Bridge (Kanda) in 1805.
It's a picture scroll of prosperity. When I looked slowly, I noticed something interesting, please.

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #10: Beginning of long-established eating (Nihonbashi Ningyocho)

[Dye] September 7, 2015 15:45

This time, it's a long time ago, but it's an introduction to my home Chibi's 100th anniversary of the first meal.

Mommy friend made a wonderful meal at the beginning of the meal, but for me a little bit of a stuffy....(^^;)

But I want to give you an anniversary...And I want to eat feast too!

That's why I asked for a meal at Ningyocho Imahan at the beginning of eating.

I made a reservation at lunch time on Saturday and visited with three parents and children.

You will be guided to a private room on the second floor, where there is also a bouncer.

Even with a baby, I was able to calm down and relax without worrying about the surroundings.

This is the first meal.

s19_02.jpg s19_03.jpg

Chibi-chan only imitates eating, so these were later delicious by our adults.

s19_05.jpg

It was easy to understand the procedure because it had an explanation of the gentle illustration.

I understand the meaning of each ingredient, so I gave it carefully.◎

I also gave a tooth fixing stone to commemorate it.

s19_04.jpg

May your teeth grow as hard as stone...While praying. 。 。

Now, fine cute teeth are growing properly.

And this is sukiyaki for adults....(´▽`*)

s19_06b.jpg s19_07.jpg

I'm still holding my child about 100 days after birth, so can I honestly eat calmly? ? I thought it was, but the shop gave me all meat and vegetables on a small plate, so I was able to have the best meat just by looking at it.

I think Suitengu may be close, but as expected, a long-established store

It was a really thorough customer service that was kind to children, and it was perfect for spending an important day.

In addition, I would like to use it at opportunities such as Shichigosan.

Let's enjoy the feeling of Venice in Tokyo♪

[Yuyama also only] September 5, 2015 09:00

"It's been a long time! How are you?"

I met Mr. Old Rose, an acquaintance, in a conference room in a skyscraper building at the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station.

She is Fresh Woman, a correspondent of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association. (I'm sophmore!?) )

On the day of the event, there was a lecture of the boating guide workshop.

The lecturer is a teacher of the NPO "Mizuto Tokyo Creation Association".

From the Nihonbashi dock, go down the Nihonbashi River to the Sumida River. Look at Eitai Bridge poorly, go a little back up the Sumida River, and go upstream from Yanagibashi to Kanda River.

Then cross the Ochanomizu Valley, enter the Nihonbashi River again in front of Iidabashi, and return to the Nihonbashi Pier. ~

The course time is one and a half hours. There was a break on the way, but the flowing commentary seemed like I was on a boat.

Two days later, I got on a boat from Nihonbashi Pier on a hands-on experience. Mr. Old Rose and I have one flight.

1 boat guide

After boarding, wear a life jacket. My heart is excited.

The teacher at the time of the classroom is the guide. It was a beautiful commentary on the desk, but the actual boat is quiet without noise in the city. The sound of the ship and the sound of the waves

The voice of the guide was a pleasant rhythm, and it was 1 hour and 20 minutes in no time.

From the fact that Komura of Musashi Country became a world town that is strong in defense called "Edo Castle Sosei", and after the Meiji Restoration until the early Meiji era

It is clear that the mainstream of logistics was boat transportation.

It's not a gondola, so it doesn't shake. If it starts to rain on the way, a white rain feather (!?) Will be distributed to everyone and will not get wet.

There are many rivers and diggings in Tokyo, such as the Kamejima River, Onagi River, and Tate River, and it's like Venice! ? I didn't know it.

Tokyo, seen from the river, is a view that cannot be seen in everyday life.

Looking at the passing of the Shinkansen, Shohei Bridge near Akihabara.

Marchecute

Look at the red brick marchecut to the left and see the stone wall of outer moat Edo Castle. And Nihonbashi.

 I had a relaxing time.Nihonbashi

After disembarking, we have lunch with Mr. Old Rose. I waited a little side by side outside the tempura meal "Kaneko Hannosuke", but as soon as I was talking about the boating guide, my turn came.

Freshly fried tempura and all-you-can-eat squid, kinpira, and pickled chopsticks. The volume and taste are perfect. It was a shop worthy of line. Another sister store I went to after dinner. It was a long line.

Robot Pepper

At the entrance of the Mitsukoshi Main Store, we greeted the robot Pepper, and after purchasing a cute Pochi bag and Japanese paper tape with the newly renovated Japanese paper "Haibara", I returned home with a silver brush.

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #09:0 Exciting concert from the age of 0 (Ginza 3-chome)

[Dye] September 3, 2015 09:00

It's suddenly cooled down.

The autumn of art is coming soon, and the heart of wanting to touch music from a young age is also Mukumuku....

Therefore, this time, a concert that can be enjoyed with children (in Ginza!) I would like to introduce it.

An exciting concert from the age of 0

http://www.ginzajujiya.com/kids/

http://www.ginzajujiya.com/hall/wakuwaku_concert/index.html

It is held at "Ginza Jujiya", which celebrated its 140th anniversary last year.

The 7th event was held on August 23 the other day, and I went with my child (1 year and 10 months).

s18_01.jpg s18_02.jpg

Ginza Jujiya is opposite Matsuya along Chuo-dori, next to Chanel.

The sign of Daiwa Securities is a landmark.

At this event, we enjoyed fashionable performances of piano, trumpet, and ukulele, accordion performance with plenty of humor and balloon art.

He also introduced me to the instrument, and while saying that the sound is coming out like this, the child is staring at it (* ^^ *).

s18_05.jpg s18_03.jpg

s18_04.jpg s18_06.jpg

Mr. Jujiya Ginza, thank you for providing your photos.

Balloon art is made vividly of things that have never been seen before, and adults were excited as "Oh!"

My child is Anpanman's March ♪ I think you like it.

Balloon art is for everyone! I gave you some souvenirs. Chibi holds it firmly (laughs)

s18_07.jpg s18_08.jpg

The venue also has a diaper changing space and a nursing space equipped with high chairs, so you don't have to worry.

In addition, Chibi-san enjoyed music quietly on his knees....What a fool! So, it's usually a bottleneck, but here you have a gentle word saying, "Please dance to the sound or move it as your children like."...

Actually, there is a space in front of the stage, and the little children are approaching interestingly, and I am really grateful to provide a wonderful opportunity that is difficult.

The following events will be held on September 12 (Sun), and we would like to participate in this as well.

There seems to be a chance to touch the violin, so I'm looking forward to it.

By the way, I think that it will be for adults, but at Ginza Jujiya, it seems that there are other free concerts on Wednesday afternoon (12: 30-13: 00). Even during work, you can take a break with the sound of the harp.

Even with children, you can touch real music with peace of mind.

I recommend it!
