GINZA SIX Rooftop Garden

[Nyan,] June 26, 2018 18:00

What would you recommend for sightseeing in Kyoto? If asked, there are too many highlights that have been elaborated from various perspectives, and I don't think it's possible to narrow down to one. Meanwhile, a major push for me is the "Kyoto Round Trail".
It seems that the range is too wide and it is not squeezed at all, but this Kyoto round trail is a route that connects the low mountains from Fushimimoyama in the southeast of Kyoto to Mt. Hiei, Ohara, Kurama, Takao, Arashiyama, and Kokedera, and overlooks the city of Kyoto.
(I personally think that I can't say that I'm familiar with Kyoto without going around here.)

The problem is that there is a total length of about 83.3 km, so it is not a straight line, but if you are a physical strength group, you can go around in one day (if you have tight physical strength and time, you can descend from the mountain to the city immediately. It can be turned several times). The signposts in various places are quite kind so that you don't get lost.
The first entrance to the east side of the Kyoto round trail is that Kyoto Fushimi Taisha Shrine. It wasn't the case before, but now it's quite popular with foreigners.
kitune.jpg
"Kakugo Inari Shrine" was enshrined in 1815, recommended by Kyoto Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine.
(Of course, there are many other shrines recommended by Kyoto Fushimi Inari Taisha.)
It is said that it worships the statue of Daimyojin in Toyokawainari brought by a white fox in Negishi, and it is said that during the Great Kanto Earthquake, it protected the town from a large fire from the Nippori area.
It is now situated on the roof of GINZA SIX, which has been redeveloped.
kakugoinari.jpg
The other day, after running at the Imperial Palace, I stopped by. Since GINZA SIX has been redeveloped by integrating the two blocks, the rooftop is quite spacious. It is the largest rooftop garden in the Ginza area, and 2,200m2, or 56% of the area of 4,000m2, is a green space.
In the morning hours, there are few people and you can enjoy the trees that change their expression quietly in each season.
      teien.jpg teien2.jpg
This rooftop garden may be good to take a break when you are tired of shopping or tired of walking.

A wonderful exchange that "Ripulinto Chuo" comes to Arima Kindergarten and Sakamoto Elementary School to read picture books has been ongoing for 13 years.‼

[Sakura is good] June 26, 2018 14:00

Senior story-telling volunteer "Ripulinto Chuo-ku" started in 2004. Ripurinto (REPRINTS) means "reprinting", and aims to reprint the life of the senior generation, just like the reprint of a masterpiece picture book. Independence from the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Health and Longevity Medical Center, this year marks the 11th year of independence, with 40 members, an average age of 72, and an activity facility 16. Based on the philosophy of wanting to be involved in generation, social contribution, and community exchange as a senior, he is working to deliver high-quality picture books to children. .

This is a story-telling at Arima Kindergarten. It is the state of February 14, 2018, the last day of activities from June to February of 2017. At Arima Kindergarten, Ripurin and members will read stories for the same kindergarten for three years. The children are looking forward to playing with hands and magic in front of the picture book.

DSC_0126.jpgDSC_0132.jpgDSC_0139.jpg

The older group is an elementary school student soon, but there is a three-year connection. On this day, younger children, middle-aged children, and older children were presented with a mini picture book with the name of the picture book they read for one year by Ripurin and members. Such a wonderful present will be a great treasure for children!

On the last day, parents of older children gave thanks to Ripurin for three years. Ryuishi and Arima Kindergarten have had wonderful exchanges for 13 years, but this is a sign of such bonds.

I visited the regular meeting Nihonbashi Social Education Center on March 20, 2018. It seems that it is held once a month.

They always do "mouth exercises" at the beginning of the meeting.

"Aeiueo Ao blue sea return is red sunset sky."

"Kaito Chrysanthemum Flower on the carp fence in the Kakekikukeko Kako Pond"

"Sasessessesso The Forest of Cedica cedar branches that sing wildly"

"Tatatotatotatotantten The Taiko Drum Don"

"There are puppies and kittens in the garden of Naneninenonano."

"The sail of the Hahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh was much white than the hawhhhhhwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

"It's already autumn to grow wonderfully with beans and wheat,"

"Everyone's night on the snow, everyone is smiling,"

"Larelyllerollerrelyllerrellergiculacanariya blue basket"

"Woeweowao laughing face Wahaufueheowahahahahaha"

Everyone with Ripurin utters a voice from their stomach, and the humorous rhythm of playing with words resonates lightly in the room.

Yoshinori Fujiwara, Director of the Social Participation and Community Health Research Team, Tokyo Institute of Health and Longevity Medical Research Institute, said, "Recent research has shown that in recent research, in a good environment with social capital, the health and well-being of individual members is returned to happiness. The success equation (social capital) of "contribution to children cheerfully" + "reading story" + "teamwork / friendship" + "connection with NPO Ripurin and networks, government offices, Japan National Council of Social Welfare and research institutes" Isn't it in "Chuo-ku"? ", "The 10th anniversary commemorative magazine, Rikurin-"

At Sakamoto Elementary School, which reads once a week on Friday, on June 15, 2018, we interviewed "Ripulinto Chuo-ku". . There was a thank-you picture letter from Ripurin to the invitation to lunch on the wall. We met at 8:00 in the morning, first had a meeting in the library, did "mouth exercises", and then headed to each class.

IMG_20180615_075345.jpgIMG_20180615_081002.jpgIMG_20180615_081339.jpg

During the morning staff morning meeting, children are waiting for quiet and quiet in a classroom without teachers. When it's time, enter the classroom and "self-introduction", "write the name of the picture book on the blackboard", "talk about introduction before reading the picture book", "read the picture book", "talk after reading the picture book" I felt the 13-year ring in the series of movements and familiarity.

We spoke with Principal Masaru Ogawa, Sakamoto Elementary School in Chuo Ward. "I am convinced that reading childhood will surely stimulate children's curiosity, enhance their imagination, and enrich their hearts. I am very grateful and happy to be able to experience it every week on a daily basis. I am grateful that the children have created a foundation that allows them to live a rich life with books as friends for their lifetime. "I was very impressed that the 13-year accumulation was alive. "

IMG_20180615_082638.jpgIMG_20180615_082945.jpgIMG_20180615_083130.jpg

The child sits on the floor and is drawn into the picture book so that the picture book can be easily seen. The calm voice of Ripurin seems to have penetrated the child's heart. I returned to the library and asked the teacher in charge of the book. After this, Ripurin said that a today's reflection meeting will be held at Nihonbashi Social Education Center. From selecting a picture book that matches the grade, how to read a picture book, how to take a gap, etc. I was deeply moved by the fact that I was deepening my training.

June 20, 2018 is the first day of reading a picture book with Arima Kindergarten for the first time this year. As a start of 2018, wonderful reading time from today to February will be nurtured.‼

IMG_20180620_105317.jpgIMG_20180620_105122.jpgIMG_20180620_110816.jpg

We spoke with Emi Minowa, director of Arima Kindergarten, Chuo Ward. "The opportunity to interact with grandpas and grandpas living in the community through picture books is a good time for children. The viewpoint of choosing picture books is different from the teachers in charge, so the range is wide, and I am grateful that children have the opportunity to meet various picture books. "It has been transmitted.

A trip around a mysterious room in the middle of Ginza. Shiseido Gallery "Kurieshimiru Yume" Exhibition

[Shiba Inu] June 25, 2018 18:00

IMG_5089.jpg"The 12th shiseido art egg" exhibition being held at Shiseido Gallery in Ginza. The winning artists will hold a solo exhibition at Shiseido Gallery for about three weeks in an open call for participants to support emerging artists. This time, three people won the prize. Currently, the top batter is "Yuma Tomiyasu Exhibition repeating Yume".

IMG_5067.jpgA mysterious view that is between reality and non-reality. Human feelings for uncertain things. This is an installation where you can experience such things. There are several rooms in the hall, and the content is that someone may have lived in the room, opening the door yourself. There are some thrilling tricks, but there are no events that surprise someone like a haunted house. But...

IMG_5082.jpg

I'm scared.

I'm so scared!

Each room is decorated with hand-painted paintings, and the title of the painting can be taught in advance, which also accelerates fear.

It is possible to shoot in the hall, but it feels unstable, so the shutter can not be cut off due to good timing!

For more information, please visit our website. → Shiseido Gallery

Until July 1st, the "Recycled Dream" exhibition is open from 11:00 to 19:00 (Sunday holiday is ~ 18:00), closed Monday, and admission is free.

Please have this mysterious experience in the middle of Ginza. The sweat in early summer pulls out quickly....。 When you finish opening all the doors, eat a parfait in Shiseido Parlour and return to the real world!

Two movie theaters in Ginza

[The Monkey] June 25, 2018 12:00

Among the fashionable Ginza town, the Ginza Main Store is located in 5-chome, Hermes, which is full of luxury. On the 10th floor of this building, there is a 40-seat mini theater "Le Studio Elmes" where you can watch movies for free. The Hermes Foundation, which supports projects related to art, technology transfer, environment, education, etc. Among the more than 40 countries that Hermes has deployed, Hermes Japon is the only one that has a mini theater.

Silver accessories “komainu Netsuki Charm” made from pure silver clay PMC @ Hama House

[Edamame] June 18, 2018 09:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

Nowadays, I often participate in events at the neighborhood of my home, Hama House.

/archive/2018/04/hamahouse-1.html

/archive/2018/05/hama-house.html

/archive/2018/06/-2hama-house.html

We also participated in a wonderful event this time.

That's ...

"Silver accessory" komainu rooted charm made from pure silver clay PMC.

DSC_3218-1.jpg※The photo is a sample made by a professional teacher.

・・・ Actually, Edamame, art and drawing classes are super and clumsy humans who take points only with normal points.

Making accessories ... I'm interested, but can I really do it?

And it's a child.

When I asked in advance with courage, "Is it OK to participate with children?"

"There are scenes where you use hot plates, so it's okay if you just be careful not to put your hands at that time."

I will do my best to show my daughter Azuki (I am 3 years old) ... ! !! I've been participating with enthusiasm.

DSC_3186-1.jpg

Mr. Arakawa of Mitsubishi Materials Trading was the lecturer.

Mitsubishi Materials Trading is a company that mainly deals with corporate-to-company transactions and handles various metal parts, but this workshop was held due to the fact that its headquarters is located in the nearby office building Nihonbashihamacho F Tower.

First of all, there are tools to use this time on the desk.

DSC_3187-1.jpg

It is "kneaded out" along with pure silver clay that is tightly packed.

? ? ? I thought there was a reason for this.

In fact, "pure silver clay (PMC)" used this time.

It is a material that is easy to dry.

So, there is a fear that if you handle pure silver clay while explaining the procedure with a bumping performance, it will be dried quickly and unusable.

Therefore, first of all, we practice while listening to the explanation of the procedure using kneading!

DSC_3191-1.jpg

At this point, if you try to draw the same line many times just because it doesn't work.

On the contrary, it will not be beautiful ... after learning something experientially

Finally, the performance!

DSC_3194-1.jpg

Super to prevent the drying of clay! I was working intensively at once, so I can't leave a photo of the progress ...

I feel that the hand-kneading has become a shape in pure silver clay, which is slightly softer than kneading.

・・But it's like a cat. Rather than a dog.

※After it was completed, isn't it like a dog at the position and angle where the ears can be heard?

That's the story. ・I see. I'll be careful from the next time.

By the way, the behavior of the daughter Azuki during "I'm working at once".

Hama House is a book cafe, so there are many picture books for small children.

You can buy the book here and, of course, you can read it freely in the store.

DSC_2696-1.jpg

Azuki's favorite picture book was there, so I always brought the book and read it again.

Mr. A, the person in charge of Hama House, also helped me put in and out the book, so my mother Edamame was in the "Working at once."

Thank you to Mr. A.

I'm working at once, and I'm waiting for you when you're done!

DSC_3195-1.jpg

After all, the head office is located in the nearby office building "Sky Gate", which contains baked goods from KEYUCA, a miscellaneous goods brand, and supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. It comes with baked goods from Patisserie Isozaki, which is located in "Tornale".

Both are delicious and chewy, but first of all, what is "pure silver clay (PMC)" in the first place? That's a story.

DSC_3197-1.jpg

PMC stands for Precious Metal Clay.

In the case of pure silver clay, "silver", "water" and "glue (binding agent)" are evenly mixed.

Because you can freely make shapes, you can make your own rings and original accessories, and challenge anything with the ingenuity of the creator.

http://www.mmtc.co.jp/pmc/how_to_make.html

↑On this "PMC" introduction page, we are releasing the process of creating works in the video.

He also talked about why it is related to Suitengu and dogs.

Dogs are a symbol of safe delivery. So a lot of pregnant women come to Suitengu on the day of the dog.

Since it was done on this land, it seems that the subject was chosen first because it was related to the land ...

By the way, as I mentioned earlier, "pure silver clay" made of "silver", "water" and "glue (coupling agent)".

The next step for this to be "silver" is "dry".

Here, the "water" in the clay is skipped to make it only "silver" and "glue (coupling agent)".

At home, there is a way to dry naturally or use a dryer over a day.

DSC_3201-1.jpg

This time, I will use the hot plate.

It's not good if it's a picture (I'm sorry)

If you look closely, you'll have a steam with me!

I wish steam could get out of the works.

Finally, it's "firing".

Here, the components of "glue (coupling agent)" fly, and only "silver" is in a state.

DSC_3208-1.jpg

This time I used a furnace in this shape, but in fact it can be made at home.

DSC_3205-1.jpg

It seems that there are pot-type furnaces that use solid fuel for beginners, and some can be easily done.

It seems that it is recommended because it is not difficult to control the temperature if you use solid fuel (which is often used to make small pots squeeze when eating at a ryokan).

That's right. Silver melts at more than 960 degrees, so we have to avoid it further.

Well, it's finished.

DSC_3209-1.jpg

""...white!" !」 」」

Even though it should be only "silver", everyone is surprised and surprised.

DSC_3210-1.jpg

By the way, the outside was bordered at the time of the original clay.

Can you tell me that it will be so small? ?

After baking, it is about 90% of the original size.

Well, that.

DSC_3211-1.jpg

First of all, with a hard hair brush.

Then. It is polished and silver comes out!

I was a little impressed.

By the way, perhaps azuki is

"From white to silver! This must be a magic stick! "

After that, the brush was fripped and said, "Henshin !!"

Don't rush into the sense that the transformation is radish or carrots.

After that, finish it and add root.

The color of the root is azuki select.

(Some of them were cute pastel colors, but they were golden.)

DSC_3217-1.jpg

This is complete!

I think it was good that I was able to work happily while being clumsy.

And it was interesting to see a little bit of the world of pure silver clay that I didn't know at all.

There are also elements of science experiments, so I thought it was a material that could be used for free study during summer vacation for elementary school students.

(In fact, there are cases where classes dealing with pure silver clay nationwide hold classes for elementary school students during summer vacation.)

Hama House is also considering a pure silver clay workshop with a different subject in the future.

I'm looking forward to that opportunity!
