A statue of a wild boar that invites happiness

[Tachibana] July 16, 2014 14:00

Currently, it is a company that supports everything from childcare supplies to nursing care, but the headquarters of "Pigeon", a company that seems to have been taken care of at least once as a baby bottle company, is located in Nihonbashihisamatsucho.

There is a statue of a wild boar at the entrance of this company.

This is a statue called the "Pig that invites happiness" and is a reproduction of the work of the 17th century Italian sculptor Pietro Takka. It seems that the real thing is in Florence, Italy.

It is said that stroking the nose of the boar statue will be blessed with fortune, marriages, child treasures, etc., and many people will have stroked their nose, only the nose is shiny.
