Nihonbashi in the upper part

[Satsuki Yanagi] June 29, 2010 10:30

note~Edo Nihonbashi Seven Steps ~note

And as you can see in the song, "Nihonbashi" in Chuo-ku, Tokyo is read as "Nihonbashi".

However, Uegami's "Nihonbashi" is read as "Nipponbashi".flair

A bridge that spans the Dotonbori River, length: 28.8m, width: It's 28m.

It is also the place names of Chuo-ku and Naniwa-ku in Osaka City.

"Nipponbashi" is a public bridge built by the Edo Shogunate in 1619 (1619), and the current one is said to have been replaced by 1969 (1969).

Many people think that Nihonbashi is an electric town.

After the 5th National Industrial Expo in 1903 (1903), after World War II, it was named alongside "Akiba in the East and Pombashi in the West", but it can be said that it is an electric town on the Naniwa Ward side "Denden Town".

The Chuo-ku side is Dotonbori and Sennichimae, giving the impression of a red-light district.

My husband's physical condition was poor and he was closed for a while, but he resumed the famous long-established bottleKanto-ni "Takoume" loved by everyone in Osaka.

If you look only at the Japanese shop curtain and the storefront, it is not surprising that we are in Nihonbashi in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.happy01

If you follow the street as it is, you can meet the symbols of Osaka "Ebisu-bashi Bridge", "Glyco Mark", "Kuidaore Doll", etc. that people living outside Osaka will imagine one after another.

・・・ ・ ・ ・ ・ I remembered when I came back to Tokyo ... Mr. Uegami certainly has "Kyobashi"!

I have to go again soon! That's right.

You can feel like a general in Chuo-ku.

[Koedo Itabashi] June 28, 2010 08:45

Throughout the Edo period, the city of Edo, facing the castle of Chiyoda, prospered as "the knee of Kokata-sama (general conquering general)".

More than 140 years have passed since the Edo Shogunate ended.

Now, where is the place in Chuo-ku where you can enjoy the feeling of a general?

In Chuo-ku, you can see the remains of the castle in Chiyoda around Tokiwa Bridge in the northwest of the ward.

However, when it comes to the feeling of a general ...

What about here?

"Hamarikyu Garden"

It's a former shogun's residence.

In the early Edo period, it was a falconry field of the Tokugawa Shogunate, where reeds were growing all over.

It seems that the construction began in 1654 when Kofu, the younger brother of the 4th Shogun Iezuna, Tsunashige Matsudaira, built a beach mansion.

Later, Tsunashige's child became the 6th Shogun Ienobu, and the mansion came to be called the Shogun's annex "Hamagoten".

It is said that in the era of the 11th Shogun Ienari, it was almost created to its current state.

Chisen-kaiyu garden.

The tide pond, which draws the seawater of Tokyo Bay, also changes the taste of the garden due to changes in the water level due to the rise and fall of the tide.

Yes, it's the depth of a Japanese-style garden.

If you look at the "300 Years of Pine" related to the 6th Shogun Ienori and taste matcha at "Nakajima's Ochiya", you will feel like a general.

The dock for Shoguns, which was able to come and go along the castle and waterway of Chiyoda, is the "Shogun Go Upground".

It is said that this is the place where the 15th Shogun Yoshinobu escaped Osaka Castle and landed after the battle of Toba and Fushimi.

If you take a water bus and enter the garden from the "General's Upground", this is a general.

You may be immersed in a great mood that moves the world for a day.

How about it? It's just like a general.

Oh, if you look at Taiga drama series's "Tenshoin Atsuhime", the general seems very hard!

Flowers and trees in Hamarikyu Garden

[Yurikamome] June 10, 2010 08:30

 It was a pleasant season.

In Hamarikyu, while the greenery of many trees spreads, many flowers are in full bloom in beautiful Aya, and rare butterflies and dragonflies are playing along with the singing of birds.

It's also fun to walk alone in the place where the general's garden used to be.

"Aiguro no Matsu" ... It is a pine made by naturally crossing Kuromatsu and Akamatsu.

After the rain, this color becomes clearer and beautiful.

The name of the flower is omitted.

In addition to this, yellow, pink, etc., each is full of beautiful flowers.

Japanese iris is the best now.

It's best to see hydrangea.
