Gourmet Information (from Hamacho to near Hisamatsu Police Station)

[Silver] April 27, 2010 08:30

As I walked to the Hisamatsu Police Station on Koza-dori on the north side of Hamacho Park, I saw red things.

CIMG4514.jpg

There is "Tokyo Western Confectionery Club", and POP with chocolate for VIP first class.

CIMG4515.jpg

When you enter the store, Moose cake from Mont Blanc, franboise, like white peach or QP-chan's head, mousse cake

Etc. The cafe seats of about 20 people were occupied by women's corps who love sweets.

CIMG4516.jpg

Restaurant BONTE across the Hisamatsu Police Station.

CIMG4517.jpg

The interior of the store is polished cleanly, and the stainless steel on the ceiling is shiny.typhoon

After noon on Saturday. Today, I enjoyed the hot coffee of "free to replace".

CIMG4522.jpg

The time after 13 o'clock seems to be the target. It's a relaxing coffee time at 15 o'clock.

"Rare cheesecake" ¥420 and banana crepe ¥510.

If youheart04 slowly talk about love for only two people, I recommend BONTE here.

Wall Gallery on Sumida River Terrace

[North Yujin] April 16, 2010 10:10

An outdoor gallery introducing Nishiki-e and graduation works of elementary and junior high school students has appeared on the Sumida River Terrace heading from Ryogokubashi to Shinohashi.

You can see it just when you get off to the Sumida River Terrace from Hamacho Park.

Please enjoy it during a walk or jogging.

Here are some of the masterpieces of graduation work.

TERACE 014.JPG

First of all, it is a joint work of graduates of Nihonbashi Junior High School.

TERACE 016.JPG

Next is the work of alumni at Nihonbashi Elementary School.

TERACE 018.JPG

This is a work of a graduate of Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School.

TERACE 022.JPG

This is the graduation work of Tsukishima Daini Elementary School in 2019 and 2009.

TERACE 025.JPG

This is a graduation work from Toyomi Elementary School in 2009.

I can imagine the students who worked hard.

Wild radish

[Street Corner Walk] April 11, 2010 23:11

daikon.jpg     The cherry blossoms have passed quickly, but the root radish (commonly known as), which has a reputation in the neighborhood, grows better than the flowerpots, and blooms pure white and beautiful flowers.  You may have grown up while being supported around you, but aren't you healthy?                                                   (Nihonbashihisamatsucho)

Neighbor's flower

[North Yujin] April 11, 2010 11:00

The cherry blossom viewing in Yoshino cherry tree is coming to an end.

From now on, it's time to see various flowers even if you take a walk in the neighborhood of Chot.

I was able to meet such a radish flower in front of a shop in Hisamatsucho.

TERACE 002.JPG

You can see the beautiful radish feet from the flowerpot.

If you enter the Hamacho River Green Road from the Nihonbashi Fire Station Ningyocho branch office side, you can meet the fine Oshima cherry blossoms.

It is said that this name was given because it is often found on Izu-Oshima Island.

Yoshino cherry tree is one parent because it is said to be a hybrid of Oshima cherry blossoms and Edhigan cherry blossoms.

  TERACE 048.JPG

The leaves of Sakuramochi were like this Oshima cherry tree.

There is Nisshinbo Building on the corner of amazake Yokocho.

The azaleas planted are wonderful.

TERACE 047.JPG

If you take amazake Yokocho to Ningyocho-dori, you will find a wonderful cherry tree in front of a shop called Sekiyama.

A tag written as Aoyama Sakura is tied to a tree.

The light pink Yae-zakura is now in full bloom.

I'm always looking forward to seeing you in full bloom.

From Izumi Bridge to Kanda River, Sumida River, Jisshi Park

[Silver] April 11, 2010 09:44

Hello everyone. I had never walked from Izumi Bridge to Asakusabashi, so I went around.

It's a good season when dandelion is in full bloom. Well, what kind of encounters and discoveries do you have today?

CIMG4466.jpg

It is impossible to walk along the Kanda River to Asakusabashi, but while thinking about the old days.run

CIMG4465.jpg

For a long time, Yanagihara has a beautiful woman. Introducing international students who were lost, pachiri!

CIMG4481.jpg

The ruins of the county mansion in Asakusabashi are omitted because Sharaku Sai has announced it. Ryogoku Post Office is located in Chuo-ku.

CIMG4489.jpg

It's Hatsune Mori Shrine next door. Let's take a look.

CIMG4490.jpg

Please refer to the explanation of "The Great Fire of the Meiryaku era". No, let's be careful of fire.

CIMG4493.jpg

At the landing on the second floor, the history is explained.

CIMG4495.jpg

I came from Kawabata to Yanagibashi. You can hear the scent of camellia oil and the chinton chan.

CIMG4497.jpg

At the foot of Ryogoku Bridge. Dogs and walks from Musashi no Kuni to Shimousa also entered the angle.

CIMG4500.jpg

Read the monument of Ryogoku Hirokoji Temple. Cross the pedestrian crossing

CIMG4501.jpg

After all, let's walk along the Sumida River Terrace.

CIMG4504.jpg

Look at the water bus, Himiko, etc. on your left, and look right at buildings such as the "button museum" on your right.

Let's go up here.

CIMG4511.jpg

Pass Koza-dori in front of Hisamatsu Police Station and Kasama Inari Shrine to Ningyocho Station.

CIMG4513.jpg

At Ningyocho Station, pass in front of "Genji Store Ruins" and "Ubukeya", and look left at Sugimori Shrine and Takarada Ebisu Shrine.

In front of Kodemmacho Station. On April 10th, pure white lotus flowers were in full bloom. (What is the scientific name of this tree?)

CIMG4534.jpg

Study history at Jisshi Park at the ruins of a prison where Shoin Yoshida and others were imprisoned.

If you are interested in history and Chambara, we recommend "Otamaga Pond Ruins" a little ahead.

CIMG4537.jpg

Return to Kodemmacho Station, go about 50m toward Bakurocho Station, and return on the "Edo Bus".

CIMG4552.jpg

Now, the peach blossoms in front of the ward office are beautiful, and even if you are on the Edo bus (ride fare: ¥ 100).

You can enjoy seasonal flowers such as lotus and cherry blossoms around Suitengu.

Let's walk with an old map of "Chuo-ku where Ryoma walked"

[Silver] April 6, 2010 09:00

"Ryomaden" is now being broadcast on NHK's Taiga drama series.

During the Edo period, the Tosa clan Nakayashiki was located on the site of the Tsukiji Police Station from the current Chuo-ku government office.

"Chuo-ku where Ryoma walked", why don't you walk waiting for an old map? On the left side of the first floor of Chuo-ku government office.

The Kyobashi district map (black and white) for 1857, 1911, 1932 and 1995 is available for a set of ¥ 420.

This is a color in my collection, but let's visit the old days and make new discoveries. The walk course is under the map.
