Would you like to enjoy walking on the Tokyo Marathon Course?

[Silver] January 24, 2012 08:30

The Tokyo Marathonrun will be held on February 26 this year.

I think that the hard work of the runners running on the day and the volunteers who support it behind the scenes is also difficult.

There's a free guide to walk along this course in a fun way.

Why don't you have a fun guide to Chuo-ku? Ginzo also participates.

The contents of the flyer are:

Heike Monogatari and Suitengu

[North Yujin] January 19, 2012 08:30

NHK Taiga drama series "Taira no Kiyomori" has started.

"Suitengu", which has been worshiped at Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods and as a palace for safe delivery and child care, is located at Nihonbashi Kakigaracho 2-chome.

First of all, main hall of Tokyo Suitengu Shrine.

There is an explanation board with "Oyu" written below the approach stairs.

I'll introduce you.

 <Oyuo>

enshrined deity Tenchu Lord Ogami (Okami of Ame no Mikanushi)

        Emperor Antoku the 81st generation

The Nakamiya of Emperor Takakura, the mother of Emperor Antoku, Tokuko, the name of the mother of Emperor Antoku.

The wife of Taira no Kiyomori, the name of Emperor Tokiko, the grandmother of Kenreimon-in, the grandmother of Emperor Antoku

Our company was founded in 1818 (1818) at the Arima clan residence in Akabane, Minato-ku, where then Yorinori Arima ordered chief priest to feudal lord the spirit of Suitengu in his territory (Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture) to enshrin the branch office in the clan residence.

It is said that the Suitengu in Kurume was founded about 700 years ago. It was created that one of the Heike women who lost in his Dan-no-ura battle escaped the eyes of Genji and fell near Kurume, and worshiped the spirits of Emperor Antoku, Kenreimonin, and second-ranked nuns who entered with his family.

It is said that the Suitengu Shrine in the Edo period was located in the clan residence, so the common people could not usually worship and threw money from outside the gate to worship. However, only on the 5th of every month in fair, the clan's residence was opened and worship was allowed. At that time, a pregnant woman worshiped at that time received a pin of Suzunoo (a bleached bell ringing a bell) and prayed for safe delivery as an abdominal belt, so this benefit spread to people because it was very cheap. . At that time, the popular word that expresses the liveliness of Suitengu Shrine was the fashionable word "Suitengu of Nakearima".

The clan's residence was requisitioned by the Meiji Restoration, and Arima's residence moved to Aoyama, and was enshrined in Kakigara-cho as of November 1, 1872.

The shrines were also damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake, but sacred object of worship evacuated to Shin-ohashi Bridge over the Sumida River and escaped the difficulties. After that, the reconstruction of the shrine was completed in 1930 and became the shrine hall of Gongen-zukuri as of 1967.

Let's take a look at Hongu online.

This is an image of "National So Motomiya Suitengu" located in Seshita-cho, Kurume-shi, Fukuoka Prefecture.

I would like to introduce the explanation of enshrined deity Yuo.

  enshrined deity

    main deity of the heavens

    Emperor Antoku (Antoku)

    Takakura Taira no Chugu Shrine

    No. 2 nun

  Origin

After the battle of Dan-no-ura on March 24, 1185 (C.E. 1185), Ise, who served the Takakura-Hiranakagu Shrine, came to the Suitengu Shrine for the first time in the vicinity of the Chitose River (now Chikugo River). At this time, the world of Chikuhi was still unclear, and it was just a desert wilderness. Today, there is Shimo Nomura across the river, but the nearby place name Sagigahana is said to have the old name of the time remaining.

Ise later shaved his hair and changed his name to Chiyo, and performed praying for Kamochi while being asked by a villager, but as Arata of the spiritual test, it became more and more revered, and the company name was praised as Ama Gozen Shrine. Was called Amagozen Shrine.

At that time, he visited Chiyo from Higo, the grandson of Sir Tomomori Tairano, the fourth son of the fourth-ranked general, Tairano, and then adopted it as his successor. After the death of Chiyo, he ran the grave of a villager and planted pine to pray with Chiyo Shomeijin. The woman is the daughter of a priest at Ishigami Furu Shrine (currently Isonokami-jingu Shrine), and the tomb is located in front of the main gate of Asahi Corporation in Kurume City, and the Okutsu Castle Festival (Tombmae Festival) is served every spring. Have been.

Our company has not only had a strong faith among agriculture, fisheries and sailors since ancient times, but also heard as a child's guardian angel, a god of safe birth, or a high spirit of prayingEmperor Meiji's birth, and His Majesty Emperor Komei prayed to the Palace.

It is a famous shrine attached to the forbidden prayer place (imperial prayer place) on October 3, 1868 after the remnants of the spirits.

 Seat

It was founded in the first year of the Kenkyu era (1190 AD) on the banks of Chikugo River, Saginogahara, and then moved to various places to avoid soldiers, and there are many places that are said to be ruins of return. In the Keicho era, he moved to 1-chome Shinmachi, Kurume City, and in September 1650 (1650 AD), Tadayori Arima, the second generation of feudal lord, donated hisshrine hall and transferred to the present location.

Since then, he has been honored by the 9th feudal lord Yorinori Arima, and was particularly revered. On November 1, 1818, he was invited to the clan residence of Edo Mita. After that, it was transferred to Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku as of 1871, and this is the current Tokyo Suitengu Shrine.

In addition, the Suitengu Shrine, which is enshrined in various places such as Japan and Hawaii, is all Obunrei Shrine whose main shrine is our main shrine. Incidentally, there is Maki Shrine on the grounds of the Imperial Palace, which enshrines the 22nd Mizutenmiya Miyaji, a pioneer of the Meiji Restoration who dedicated his life to the restoration of the monarchy as the leader of the Emperor during the turbulent period of late Tokugawa shogunate.

As mentioned above, it was Emperor Antoku who was born with Taira no Kiyomori's second wife, Tokiko (second-ranked nun), entered Emperor Takakura and was born. In other words, in Suitengu, Emperor Antoku, his mother Tokuko (Kenreimon-in), and his grandmother Tokiko (second-ranked nun) are enshrined.

Taira no Kiyomori has Shigemori Tairano with his first wife, Akiko, and Munemori Tairano, Tomomori Tairano, Moriko and Tokuko with Tokiko.

I think everyone knows the "Heike Monogatari" that begins with "The voice of the bell of Gion Seisha, there is an impermanence sound, ..."

Kenreimon-in entered the water with a family member when the Heike was defeated in the Battle of Dan-no-ura, but was helped and lived his life at Jakuko-in in Ohara, Kyoto. In Heike Monogatari, "Ohara Miyuki", where cloistered Emperor Goshirakawa visits Kenreimon-in, is a famous place.

"Kikaigashima", which is familiar in Kabuki, is a story that Toshihiro and others will be exiled due to the Kagaya incident, but a pardon ship will come, . It was said that this pardon was due to a prayer for safe delivery at Kenreimon-in, which pregnant Emperor Antoku.

I would like to enjoy a TV drama while thinking about the three people who are enshrined in Suitengu.
