Nobody was quiet and quiet, so I went to Suitengu in Kakigara-cho.

Just today's 25th was the day of the dog, so the precincts were full of many people.

When I asked about the palace in Hamacho in shrine office, he said he would move to Hamacho in March for rebuilding.

And today is the last day of the Dog here. Tomorrow, the twenty-sixth is Da'an, so it will be crowded again.

"Misuzu" magazine No. 4 (January 1, 2013) published in Suitengu contains a New Year's greeting from Mr. Yorio Arima.

Happy New Year

We have a new year. This year, the 62nd Shikinen Sengu will be held at Ise-jingu Shrine. It is a festival once every 20 years, and we are also feeling tight.

Even at Suitengu Shrine, we decided to rebuild shrine hall as a commemorative project for the 200th anniversary of Edo Jinza. Suitengu was enshrined from Kurume Motomiya in the upper residence of the Arima family of the Kurume clan in 1818 in the late Edo period.

After that, after passing through Akabanebashi and Aoyama, he was enshrined in the current Nihonbashikakigaracho, and has been familiar to everyone.

On September 20, 2012, a groundbreaking ceremony was held at Nihonbashihamacho, the site of the temporary shrine, and new construction is currently underway. With the completion of the New shrine hall, which is scheduled for 2016, we will make further efforts to ensure that even more worshipers and worshipers will be able to receive prayers and gifts with peace of mind.

    January 2013 lucky day

Yes, it is.

It is said that Kakigara-cho Suitengu will temporarily move to Hamacho in a few days and return to the newly built Kakigara-cho four years later.

The location of temporary palace is 2-30 Nihonbashi-Hamacho, Chuo-ku.

[Silver] February 26, 2013 08:30

February 24, 2013. It is the day of the long-awaited Tokyo Marathon 2013. Today, the north wind is cold, so I can't wait for a runner at the Suitengu intersection before 10 o'clock, and go to Dolce on the 2nd floor of Mihara Domoto store. I ordered a hot coffeecafe and waited for the runner to come. I see, it's the best viewhappy01.

A group of groups ran through the area of Asakusa, so we went out to see the support event.

The photo on the left shows a group dancing flamenco in front of LEGARE Nihonbashi Ningyocho. The photo on the right shows the brass band of Nihonbashi Junior High School in Chuo Ward performing in front of Tornale Nihonbashihamacho. It was a very energetic performance.

Enchanted by the cheerful singing voice, I clapped and stepped for a while. Sayaki Sugawara's singing voice.

Oops, the top group is passing. It seems that the first yellow wearer won the championship.

A whale in Ningyocho?

[Old Counselor] February 24, 2013 09:00

Why is there a whale object (pictured) on the street corner of Ningyocho?
ck1207_1302222.jpg

A long time ago, the whole area of Ningyocho was the sea, and I thought that it was just a monument where whales were caught, but there was also the following episode about the relationship between dolls and whales.

In the Edo period, in Ningyocho, in addition to the Edo Kabuki huts called Ichimura-za and Nakamura-za, there were also huts such as Yukiza, a puppeteer from puppet ballad drama, and Satsuma-za, a puppeteer who produced dolls.

These puppeteers used elastic whale beards on the spring of the puppet doll to enable subtle neck movements, which can be said to be the life of the doll.

And the current name of Ningyocho became the official place name of Ningyocho in 1933, because there were many shops selling puppeteers, Hina doll, and handmade goods that make these dolls.

Setsubun Suitengu Shrine

[Nathaly] February 12, 2013 08:30

February third is Setsubun.
The Setsubun event was held at a shrine in Chuo-ku, but I went to Suitengu.happy01

In Suitengu, celebrities don't sow beans, but the moderator is the gorgeous sign01voice actor Whale and the lead of bean-throwing ceremony. It's a very nice voice, and you'll get well when you listen.happy01

The bean sowing took place at 13:00 p.m. Beginning with the invited bean-throwing ceremony, about 10 people x 4 to 5 sets, bags containing Setsubun beans and candy are scattered. There are golden stickers on some of the scattered bean bags, and when you get them, you canhappy02notes exchange them for prizes. It feels like a little lottery (laughs) (I couldn't get them, but the prize seems to be a sweets set and stationeryshine.)

The concert was held from 13:30.
At first, I thought it was a shrine-like concert with performances by Gagaku, and after that, Shinichi Ishihara, singing the theme song of Kamen Rider AGITO, and Masako Shiono, a singer, sang songs, POPs, etc. The concert was full of content for both children and adults.notes

At the end of the concert, sowing was performed by general participants. If you wish, the general public can also participate in Setsubun (participation fee required). I participated last year on the scatter side, but I can have you purify in main hall or receive a sweeping bill after bean-throwing ceremony.

Usually, Suitengu Shrine is crowded with pregnant women, but it was an interesting day to see different scenery.
