Near spring

[Satoken] February 28, 2014 09:00

After the heavy snow, warm days have increased.

I often go to Nihonbashi Library, but I took a picture on the way.

It is a small park at the base of Kayaba Bridge. I think it was a plum blossom, but it bloomed beautiful and pretty flowers.

I also went to Koami Shrine, one of Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods.

It's not worshiper like New Year's, but there were quite a few visitors.

It was famous for Zen-washing Benten, so everyone was washing in hope of good fortune.

I washed myself in hope of good fortune. I hope it will increase.

Retro coffee shop [Cafe Sakaiseiken]

A snowy weekend
We took a break at Kissako Kaiseiken, located just outside the intersection of Ningyocho-dori and amazake Yokocho.

kissa2.JPG

It was founded in 1919 (1919)

It's a moon-like expression, but a retro atmosphere. The red enamel sofa chairs, the stained glass of windows facing the street, and the lamp from the ceiling are good.

The ordered blended coffee is fragrant, has a good balance of bitterness and acidity, and smooth.

The cleanliness felt from the entire store is a very cozy healing space.

By the way, "cafe away" means "tea tea" in Zen language.

Snow and Rain Examination Day [Chuo-ku Tourism Examination]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 15, 2014 17:22

kank1.JPG

On Saturday, February 15, I took the Chuo-ku Tourism Test for the first time in three years.

In addition to the snow from the previous day, it is difficult to go to the test site due to rain and wind on the day, disruption of transportation, and it is difficult to go to the test site.

My test site was the Royal Park Hotel in Nihonbashikakigaracho, so I headed to the venue while the Ningyocho-dori shopping association was removing snow.

The photo shows "Koho Inu" from Suitengu, which has been moved to the lobby of the hotel at the examination site following the rebuilding of Suitengu Shrine.

At the venue, I felt that the absence was noticeable due to the weather.

The test took place in 90 minutes from 11:00, 30 minutes behind the initial schedule. There are 100 questions in the mark sheet method of choice for limbs.

After the exam is over, you will receive an answer sheet on the spot, so you can score yourself immediately.

I must have passed ... but as a tourist correspondent, I am a little disappointed that I wanted to aim for perfection.

After all, it's a rule to read the text carefully.

Acceptance announcement is scheduled for early March.

Growing taste <Kyokasuzuke Uokyu>

[whatever] February 12, 2014 08:46

A weekday in which paid leave was taken to receive a ward health checkup. The inspection was completed in less than an hour, and now we went to Takashimaya in Nihonbashi to shop and return.
When I was hanging on the grocery floor on the first basement floor, I noticed a special set sold at the Uokyu sales floor <Irotori-dori family>.
uokyu1.jpg
When I came on the weekend, I sometimes hit the sales time, but since the line was quickly formed and sold out, it was past as usual, but maybe this day was a weekday, some counters still remained on top of the counter.
Last fall, I had the opportunity to eat kasuzuke at Uokyu Main Store in Ningyocho, but since then I have never eaten it and came to this day. "Is it going to be burnt immediately after pickling lees, and it's a bit troublesome to handle it?", He said, "Is it easy to cook at my own house, but when I asked the shop how to bake it, "Is it easy and bought one bag saying, "Let's buy it."
It was opened about 4 days later, not on the day of purchase (the expiration date is 7 days). As was told, wash the lees on the cut with water and put them into the grill. If you look inside the grill over a very low heat so as not to burn, you will gradually smell a fragrant smell. <Family of four people> Yes, there are four slices of fillets. On this day, I had a squid and salmon fillet. The squid is very soft, and it came out after putting it in my mouth and chewing it, "Good! It's very delicious! It's really delicious. I'm still impressed by the deliciousness of kasuzuke. I was impressed by the fact that I was born to a Japanese person.
uokyu2.jpg
Then, on the morning of the weekend, I got up early at the Uokyu Ningyocho store in search of <cutting>. The distribution of numbered tickets began at 9:30, and it was limited to two tickets per person. Of course, this is also an impressive taste.

uokyu3.JPGuokyu4.jpg

Even though it is a cut-off, Uokyu's kasuzuke. It contains about 7 pieces and is full of great value. In the upper right of the photo below, this is also soft and irresistible. Below is the salmon kettle part. The expiration date of this product is 7 days, but if you wait until the last minute, the taste will be further condensed and it will have a different taste. By the way, the fresh scallop in the upper left is not something that was in the cutting, but a normal product. I bought it the day before I bought it.
uokyu5.jpg

In my usual diet, meat is easy to cook, so I just buy it, but I've always been thinking about how to eat fish, especially grilled fish (I'm worried about the smell), but there is no such thing, This is a solution for many years of worries at once. What a fateful encounter with Uokyu?
It is a set of valuable <cut-off> lined up, but on the salary day, I increased one more pleasure to buy sweet bream, which was about 1,000 yen. There seems to be such a set.
Uokyu

Cut-off (630 yen) * Ningyocho store is open on Sunday.
A family of four (735 yen) will be sold from 16:00 on the grocery floor on the first basement floor of Nihonbashi Takashimaya.

Limited taste Kuju mochi <Sweet restaurant Hatsune>

[whatever] February 6, 2014 09:00

When did you come out, this sticker I'm going to pass at least once a week, but I didn't notice it at all.

hatsune1.jpg

So, I don't have a longing feeling of waiting, waiting, waiting ~, but I'm sure many people were waiting ..., so I had to try it. , I touched the door of the shop.

I always looked through the showcase saying, "I want to eat anmitsu ...", but on this day, when I plunged inside, the interior of the store was an interior that retains the taste of Showa, and at this time there were many customers It was a space where the air was slowly flowing because there were few.

"Amamidori Hatsune" was founded in 1837. It is said that the first generation who likes Kabuki and rakugo was named after Hatsune's drum. Indeed, if you look closely, the doors and windows are "investigation" (strings) of the drum.

hatsune2.jpg

I took it home and immediately put it in a plate. This is not a normal kinako, but a bright "Uguisu powder". Judging from the name of the store, the kuzumochi was also solid, and when combined with black honey and slightly sweet Uguisu powder, it became a very elegant taste. It was delicious. There is no doubt about Ningyocho.

 hatsune3.jpghatsune4.jpg

Next time, I wanted to taste it while feeling the atmosphere inside the store.

Fast food downtown version <Mina Fuku>

[whatever] February 3, 2014 09:00

Oden is delicious all year round, but in this season when the cold gets severe, it feels even more delicious. At Odenya's Mina Fuku (Minafuku), which is located just one from amazake Yokomachi to the intersection side of Suitengumae, you can enjoy a nostalgic taste at reasonable prices.

minafuku1.jpg minafuku2.jpg

Order from outside the shop. The shop differs depending on the day, but if you are a mother wearing a kappo clothes, you can enjoy small talk while choosing oden. On this day, my mother seemed to be sitting and preparing at the back of the shop. Daughter (marriage?) The person who thinks it was a customer service.

The price of Mina Fuku's oden is most attractive. There are a lot of seeds less than 100 yen. I was born in Kanto, so I always buy "Chikuwabu". Oden nichikuwabu, I've been eating it for granted since childhood, but I don't seem to eat it in the west. It's delicious, but the soup has a strong Kanto style, but it's never salty. Take-out on this day

 Chikuwabu (I bought 2 pieces) 60 yen x 2

 Tsumire (2 pieces) 80 yen

 Octopus 250 yen

A total of 450 yen. I bought croquettes and kushikatsu in this half, so I kept this much in Mina Fuku. There is also a mustard, but this is very spicy, and it's quite tun.

minafuku3.JPG ←It's always like this.

"This doesn't have to be the coldest," said your mother before. When I asked, "Would you like to bring a container from the house?", "I want a plastic bag because it cools down, hits and collapses," so don't do anything extra! He also said, "Go home soon and eat while it's warm." Your mother's professional desire to eat deliciously will be conveyed.

I transferred it to a bowl and had it right away. The octopus was soft and delicious ~ You can eat it on the spot (it will stabs on the skewers), so please stop by when you are hungry.
