Koami Shrine celebrates its 550th anniversary this year. It was built at the end of the North and South Dynasties! The religion from Michio Ota, the founder of Edo, is now counted as the Seven Lucky Gods of Nihonbashi (Fukurokuju, Benzaiten), and is gaining popularity among young people as a power spot for improving fortune and eliminating good luck.

It was during the war that Koami Shrine became widely known in protection against misfortune. Everyone who went on the expedition with the protection of this shrine was able to return safely. And he escaped the war even in the air raid. From these, we have come to be worshiped as a god of good luck. Also, even in the Great Kanto Earthquake before that, when Miyaji evacuated to Shinohashi with his body, many people who were in the same place were saved, so it was said that it was a sacred virtue of Koami Shrine.

In the precincts, Chozubachi, which was burned down in the Great Kanto Earthquake, is still active.

"Kyokasuzuke Uokyu" is the main store of Ningyocho. Sometimes I buy pickled lees and return home, but it is very popular with my family, and I have brought it as a souvenir at my workplace, but it was very popular.

Walk about 100 meters to Shin-ohashi-dori St. on the narrow street in front of the amazake Yokocho intersection. You can also eat in the store.

At the Suitengu intersection, there is a famous doll ware and Zeitaku rice cracker Shigemori Eishindo and Mihara Domoto store. Miharado has a wide variety of salt rice crackers and Japanese confectionery.

At the Suitengu intersection, you can see Mr. Mizutengu who has just been transferred. Walk about 200 meters toward the Sumida River, and you will find Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT) on the left below the Metropolitan Expressway. The 2nd floor "Chinese cuisine Ryu Otori" Tantan noodles are popular menu. You can get a line after 12:00, so it's better to take off noon.

If you take T-CAT further to the Sumida River, you will find Sumida River Ohashi. spinning top (Koma) is the most important item in Keigo Higashino's novel "Newcomer" (which is made into a TV drama and famous for his leading role). It is known as a model for the folk art store "Hoozukiya" that handles this spinning top. It seems that the location was also held in the store. Today, including around that, we interviewed President Oda of Yuma Kogei Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of Japanese miscellaneous goods and other products integrated with the shop. Mr. Oda is in front of the store. By the way, the shop is organized by President Oda's wife.

"Our shop is mainly made of original cloth. Our company is particular about Edo Komon and Age Komon. Edo komon is a play of words. It is said that the old people were playing on the back when they were frugal. Among them, only the lucky patterns are selected and stylized. The company wholesales are nationwide, but the shop displays and sells originals made by the company. It became independent about 30 years ago, and the shop has been operating here for about 25 years. The company has been certified for management innovation in Tokyo. The Tokyo Olympics in 2020 have been decided, and the emblem has become a Ichimatsu pattern, so I applied for thinking that the demand for Japanese miscellaneous goods will increase.
