Lunch buffet at Royal Park Hotel! "Chef's Dining Symphony"

[Edamame] April 30, 2017 14:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

Actually, my friend from middle and high school was working in my neighbourhood.

So when she's not busy with her work, she sometimes has lunch together.

That's why I've had lunch with her today as well.

The location is on the first floor of the Royal Park Hotel.

It's "Chef's Dining Symphony"!

DSC_1044-1.jpg

Actually, the coffee shop was renewed this March, right?

At that time, I was looking at a flyer and thinking I wanted to go someday.

I'm looking for a lunch buffet! (3,564 yen (including tax and service charges))

It's exciting for some reason to have a buffet.

I can't eat as much as I was a student because I'm not young anymore.

It's fun to have a lot of things.

That's why I came to the hotel lobby.

IMG_2576-1.jpg

This atmosphere is gorgeous, isn't it?

But... just today

DSC_1037-1.jpg

Dango rather than flowers!

Rather, meat!

It's the flower of the lunch buffet.

It was a soft and delicious steak.

The sauce on the sauce is exactly the taste of the hotel.

And this is the dish of the 1-year-old daughter, Azuki.

DSC_1038-1.jpg

The good thing about the buffet is before the rice comes out.

I don't have to wait for time.

It is safe to give a small child a meal right away.

(If you wait too much when you are too hungry ... it will be a riot.)

What's your favorite of Azuki?

・Sandwich (Ham Cheese & Potato Salada)

・Spanish-style omelet

I did it.

The sandwich is large enough for small children to hold.

I think it was very easy to eat.

Azuki, who is just practicing fork, has Spanish style omelet

Great size and hardness to eat with a fork yourself.

I was flattened at a faster speed than usual.

In addition, the white fish seemed to be moist and soft and easy to eat.

Vegetables are also tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.

There was something that was easy for even small children to eat, so I ate it.

・・・ I was surprised that my friend said, "Azuki-chan, I eat well!" (laughs).

And speaking of a buffet ...

DSC_1039-1.jpg

Delicious cake!

I'm happy to be able to eat a lot little by little! That's right.

In addition, fruit jellyApple, mousse, etc.

There were a lot of things.

That's right. The banana caramelize was delicious!

Simple, warm bananas and applesApple are made of caramel ...

It was a gentle sweetness that made me happy.

(And forget to take a picture of it. 。 。)

I want to conquer all of them.

The limit of the stomach is

Let's go on again.

There's still a lot of talk with friends ...

It's a hotel right next to Suitengu Shrine, so it's very smooth and smart.

After all, it's safe.

By the way, this time, Azuki used a high chair (so-called children's chair).

You can leave it as a stroller.

DSC_1040-1.jpg

There is also a hotel-made cake counter next to the checkout counter.

DSC_1042-1.jpg

Among them, I was worried about it.

DSC_1043-1.jpg

"Tsuboyaki Honey Pudding" (1620 yen)!

The bowl is cute and has an impact in size.

Someday, when I take my chase somewhere

I thought I wanted to use it.

The season is coming! To a trip around Edo by waterway

[Shiba Inu] April 30, 2017 09:00

The cherry blossoms have passed, and the cold season has finally ended.

And he said...It is the opening of the Edo boating tour season, "Touring around the water city, Tokyo by boat"!

DSC_8601.jpg

Edo is a water city and a prosperous town based on logistics by waterways. Currently, there are many major roads in Tokyo that were originally waterways. And in Chuo-ku, there are a number of active waterways, led by the Sumida River and Nihonbashi River. Let's go around there by boat! That's a boating tour. It's not just a boat play, but a journey through the Balibari arterial road where trade boats come and go until a little more than 100 years ago, the waterway that was the gateway. In addition to the remnants of Edo, there are many remains where the gorgeous Meiji Taisho era remains. You can see Are and Chore, which can not be seen from the ground, along with the guide's explanation.

IMG_7272.jpgIs there anyone who knows where it is here?...!? (The hint is the site of a certain subway.)

Of course, I also go around the hot places now.

DSC_8537.jpg

In Tsukiji Market...

DSC_8551.jpg

Toyosu planned site!

There are various types of tours, so you can choose what place, how much time, and how deep you want to see according to your preference. Each tour has a professional guide, so it's very interesting.

DSC_8580.jpgYou can also see landfills under construction in Tokyo Bay.

The boating tour is not held in winter, so the next few months will be the on-season. At that time, a wide variety of tours are held. For more information, please visit our website.

The Association for the Creation of Water City Tokyo

When you look at Tokyo in Heisei from a spacious waterway, you can see a completely different figure. I think you can also experience the people and things from Edo to the pre-war period, the flow of culture, and how to connect with neighboring areas such as Asakusa.

It is a very fulfilling event, so please come and visit Chuo-ku from the waterway in the coming warm season.

By the way...

This is for those who say, "I like bridges rather than rivers!"

IMG_3385.jpg"Bridge Pocket Map" edited by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Construction. It is a wonderful book that covers major rivers and bridges in Tokyo.

It's like this when you open the inside.

IMG_3386.jpgEach one is pocket-sized, 5 books in total. The price of the box set that contains all is 800 yen. It is also sold at the Kachidokibashi Museum, located at the base of Kachidokibashi. I don't really recommend these maps.

A new nice cafe in Hamacho! 「FRUIT & HERB TEA CAFE ONE'S」

[Edamame] April 27, 2017 09:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

The other day, I was waiting for a bus at the Hamacho 3-chome (Tornale) bus stop on the Metro Link Nihonbashi E Line.

I found a nice cafe on the other side of Shin-ohashi-dori St.

Certainly, I've been worried since I was doing interior work.

A wonderful Saga with an interior design that gives you a little glimpse.

What kind of shop will it be? I thought it was a wonderful cafe.

That's why I can't help not go.

It opened on April 19

FRUIT & HERB TEA CAFE ONE'S!

IMG_2563-1.jpg

From the shop, the dogs are Hello

This shop, a shop where you can bring your dog into the shop.

When I entered, half of the customers were with their dogs.

Azuki, a one-year-old daughter, seemed to be happy because there were many cute dogs.

Well, when I get a seat.

IMG_2558-1.jpg

IMG_2557-1.jpg

The flowers on display are also beautiful!

And I can use WIFI as well.

Because it is this time of life, there are many people who can help.

IMG_2562-1.jpg

It seems that this blackboard is handmade (hand-painted) by the staff!

IMG_2570-1.jpg

The atmosphere of the seat is like this.

IMG_2571-1.jpg

There are also cookies that look delicious at the counter.

Well, let's order.

IMG_2559-1.jpg

Recommended is organic soy milk smoothies (420 yen + tax).

"Rose & Strawberry" or "Lavender & Blueberry"

That's right...

IMG_2556-1.jpg

Choose "Lavender & Blueberry".

It's not too sweet and refreshing.

And I wondered if my daughter, Azuki, can be a snack ...

I ordered "Backet French toast (bananas and fresh cream)" (700 yen + tax).

Ask the shop, "Can you make a part that doesn't have a sweet?"

Why don't you listen to it?

IMG_2560-1.jpg

Two of the four French toasts have toppings.

(Banana & raisins & fresh cream & maple syrup)

IMG_2561-1.jpg

And the remaining two sheets are "no toppings".

I served it on a separate plate.

Thank you very much for your attention.

The taste is also delicious.

I was healed by the gentle sweetness of fresh cream.

Azuki also likes French toast.

It was pakupaku, sir.

As a gift to commemorate the opening

IMG_2565-1.jpg

I had herb tea and magnets.

IMG_2568-1.jpg

It was a fruity, sweet, and gorgeous tea.

And...

IMG_2566-1.jpg

Actually, this shop is near here

It seems to be the sister store of Green Park Avenue, a specialty store of herb tea.

So there are many kinds of herb tea menus.

I'm going to try it next time.

※For those with children.

This shop does not have a chair for children, but it is OK to enter with a stroller.

Azuki (1 year and 10 months) took off his shoes and sat down on an adult chair.

Is the cutlery big? I thought it was

Surprisingly, I used an ordinary fork for adults.

There is a "small spoon for ice cream" in the shop.

"Plastic Spoon Fork".

If you are uneasy, it may be safer to bring a fork for small children.

(I think French toast would be okay if you use your hand.)

And yeah.

Even if you're worried about eat-in,

There is also a menu where you can take out.

I think it's an ant to try it out.

Kashiwa mochi of Shigeru Chizuki, Nihonbashihamacho

[May rain George] April 26, 2017 16:00

This week, the long-awaited sale of Kashiwa mochi has started at Shigeru Chizuki.

This shop's Kashiwa-mochi is sweet and sweet. The rice cake that is not too soft has a reputation for being delicious. The wrapping method is a type that wraps rice cake on the front of the leaf (some shops wrap it on the back), and it costs 150 yen each.

IMG_5732.JPGIMG_5733.JPG

"Shigeru Chizuki" beside Hamacho Park is a small Japanese confectionery shop known to those who know it. The exterior doesn't look like a shop.

There are handwritten "Dorayaki" and "Kashiwa Mochi" paper on the entrance. The first person may be a little difficult to enter.

The standard Japanese sweets are dorayaki, in the middle, chestnut bun. It is seasonal, and Sakura mochi and Kashiwa mochi are added.

In particular, dorayaki (160 yen) is large enough to think how to put it in a bag (135g when measured!) It's good to eat.

IMG_4838.JPG
I asked Mr. Mochizuki, the master of the appearance of craftsmanship.

"How do you put this dorayaki in a bag?"

Then the master broke his expression and said, "Once you take it out of the bag, you will not enter anymore."

And this question was distracted.

Shigeru Chizuki (business hours) 9: 30-18: 00 (regular holidays) Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

IMG_5730.JPG

Chuo-ku is a city with many Japanese confectioneries.

Dorayaki is famous for its famous Kiyokazuken (Horidomecho) and Usagiya (Nihonbashi) in addition to Chizuki Shigeru. In addition, "Hikokuro" (amazake Yokocho), Kintsuba's "Umekatei" (Kodemmacho) and "Eitaro Sohonho" (Nihonbashi), Taiyaki's "Yanagiya" (amazake Yokocho), golden potato "Judo" (Ningyocho), "Tachibana" of Karinto (Ginza).

Everyone, please find your own delicious Japanese sweets shop in Chuo-ku.

Hamacho Park Cherry Blossom 2017 Kiyomasa Koji Temple

[Silver] April 24, 2017 18:00

In mid-April, I went to Hamacho Park to see Yae-zakura and other places.

If you thought it was warm this year, the cold days continued, and it rained every other day in early April, and it would have been lost if the cherry blossoms could bloom.

Because of such weather, weeping cherry tree, which usually blooms at the end of March, was still blooming, and it was a competition with Yae-zakura. The building behind is Meijiza.

DSC04981.JPG

The flowers of Chuo-ku, "Azalea, Satsuki" were also beginning to bloom. The park is decorated with beautiful flowers.

DSC04983.JPG

In Hamacho Park, there is a "General Sports Center", and the restaurant, Hamacho-tei, has a full menu.

DSC04984.JPG

And there is Kiyomasa Koji Temple, which enshrines the Prince of Kato Kiyomasa.

DSC04989.JPG

According to the "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia for Walking,"

"This place used to be the Nakayashiki of Hosokawa, Kumamoto feudal lord, and after the Kato family was destroyed, Hosokawa, who took over the Kumamoto clan, was founded in 1861 by Kumamoto Honmyoji in 1861 to enshrines Prince Kato Kiyomasa. The temple was located in the mansion, but it is said that ordinary people were allowed to worship in the Edo period. " Recommended for a walk during the good season.

A lot of good things! marche Hamacho (April 2017)

[Edamame] April 22, 2017 18:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

The other day (April 16 & 17), a market event in the neighborhood of my home.

"Hamacho marche" was being held!

IMG_2543-1.jpg

※It is an event that is held regularly.

I think I will introduce you several times in the future.

Therefore, "Year / Month" is included in the title.

This is the 8th event that started about two years ago.

There are many stores this time, and it is full of people.

The place is right next to the intersection of "Hamacho Nakano Bridge".

Tornale Map. jpg

Complex facilities such as condominiums, office buildings and shopping

This is the square of "Tornale Nihonbashihamacho".

IMG_2544-1.jpg

First of all, prepare your stomach ...

It is a food stall where Ningyocho Shopping Street is open!

IMG_2538-1.jpg

IMG_2542-1.jpg

The very popular Ningyocho steak last time!

This time, it was a little time.

What a delicious restaurant with two major beef in Ningyocho

It is the meat of "Hiyama" and "This half"!

It's usually a Takamine flower shop, but I'm very satisfied if this is 700 yen.

The meat is also soft! It was delicious.

And next to it

IMG_2539-1.jpg

"Daikon no Araki" was also a small and cute seller.

The taste of radish is also stain

It seems that the 1-year-old daughter, Azuki, also loved it.

And the restaurant Elinor

https://www.facebook.com/elenacorporation.jp/

IMG_2545-1.jpg

It's a mama's special Torotoro borcich.

IMG_2546-1.jpg

Both meat and vegetables are really thick! I did it

It's also authentic that sour cream is attached!

Well, then, I'll go shopping

First of all,

IMG_2548-1.jpg

100% straight orange juice that looks delicious!

IMG_2549-1.jpg

It was not too sweet, and I could taste the refreshing orange itself.

Is it okay if I drink azuki? ?

It is called "the dining table of the furnace."

http://dandanronosyokutaku.com/

At this shop

IMG_2551-1.jpg

amazake, which is also featured on TV, seems to be famous.

There were a lot of rare things that could not be seen easily.

And here's

IMG_2552-1.jpg

"Katsunori no Farm."

https://www.facebook.com/KatsunoRinaFarm/

We also handle juices and sweets, mainly for the cultivation of pesticide-free vegetables.

I know the existence of this pesticide-free vegetable.

And the carrots I bought on trial were very sweet and delicious.

(and that's the same as the price in the supermarket)

That's why I thought something more delicious.

I also tasted very sweet carrot juice.

What I actually bought and went home

This turnip.

IMG_2553-1.jpg

The turnip is soft and chewable even for small children.

Today's standard vegetable in my home.

The leaves seem to be fresh and crisp.

Fruits and leaves are combined into miso soup.

My daughter, Azuki, also flattened.

It was delicious!

IMG_2547-1.jpg

Next time ... July 2nd (Sun) & 3rd (Mon)

It's a coincidence.

I'm going to have fun shopping again.
