"There is Kazuha in the Meiji era. There is time rain in the Showa era." The famous book "Old Mon Nihonbashi" written by Shigure Hasegawa on the buried grass of "Women's Art", which he presided over. When I read this work, which recalls the girl's age, when the rain was born in Aburamachi, Nihonbashi-dori, was dubbed "Ann Pontan", the appearance of the city around the birthplace of the early Meiji era and the people around it revived lively, I feel like I was put on a time machine. 。 Today, I walked along the traces of several stages drawn here with Iwanami Bunko in one hand.
[On the photo] It is Daidenma Honcho-dori St. Look at Midoribashi from Daimon Street. You can see the sky tree under construction.
Birthplace: No. 1, Nihonbashi-doriyucho
Shigure Hasegawa was born on October 1, 1879 as the eldest daughter of Fukazo Hasegawa, a government official (lawyer) at Doyucho, Nihonbashi-ku (currently 14, Nihonbashi-Daidenmacho, Chuo-ku). Honmachi-dori, which runs through the middle of Yuyu-cho, is a main line from the Edo period heading from Nihonbashi to Asakusabashi. It is a town with many wholesalers connected to Honmachi, Otemmacho, Torigocho, Toyucho, and Toshio-cho, and the rank of the city was much higher than the parallel Kokumachi-dori (currently Edo-dori St.). Toyu-cho was on both sides of Honmachi-dori from Daimon-dori to Hamacho-Kawa Midoribashi, and his birthplace was facing a small alley near Kodemmacho, with Honmachi-dori back. This alley is called "Umaya Shindo" and handles carriages on the opposite Kodemmacho side.
There was a big freighter. The predecessor of this shop was a horse-drawn house for Temmacho prison and a sinner.
There is a large store of glasses and glass wholesalers called Kagayoshi near the center of Yuyu-cho, and when the Constitution was issued, it became a venue for speeches in the town. The spokesman was a government official in 1879, one of the first friends who had only 12 people, and the father of Shiame, who was regarded as new wisdom at the time. Kagayoshi is the birthplace of Kayo Yamagishi, a novelist and calligrapher under the Momijimon.
By the way, Tsuyu-cho was a first-class version of the cypress stage in the Edo period. Kiemon Tsuruya and others have a store, and Juzaburo Tsutaya also advanced from Yoshiwara Ikumamichi, and has Shunsui Tamenaga Monochi Shoshi in Toyu-cho. Tsutashige's store
And they were also working. "Old Mon Nihonbashi" does not mention anything about this area, but I imagine that the DNA of this area was inherited by the book lover Ann Pontan.

[In the middle right of the photo] Daimon Street. I'd like to see Ningyocho.
[Lower right of the photo] The ruins of Midoribashi. I can see the manhole.
Daimaru Kimono Store On the other side of Daimon-dori is the place where the Daimaru kimono shop was located. (currently 10, Nihonbashi Daidenmacho, Chuo-ku) It was also depicted in Hiroshige's "Hundred Views of Edo", and even after entering the Meiji era, "Nihonbashi culture and prosperity center point at that time". It was a famous kimono shop made of Odozo. On New Year's Day, the children in the neighborhood also acted.
[Upper left photo] The trace of Daimaru kimono shop.
[Lower left of the photo] Well of Take Dainichi Nyorai. If you go only two streets from Umaya Shindo, Ann Pontan passed the source elementary school. It's a bit ahead of it.
Hara of the prison
Immediately after the Meiji Restoration, there was a story that my father refused to give a corner of the prison free of charge. The large prison in Temmacho existed until 1875, and a temple was erected around 1882, but it seems that it was crowded with huts and monsters, probably because they tried to pay the unclean land. . My grandmother visits Kobo-sama (Daianrakuji Temple), which was built in Hara of the prison, with Ann Pontan every night.
[Left photo] Daianrakuji Temple. It was erected on the ruins of the prison.
Home of Tsukuda Island
His father, Fukazo, secluded on the shores of Aioi Bridge on Tsukuda Island in his later years. In 1904, he separated from his husband and lived in his parents' house. 3-5, Shin-Tsukuda Nishimachi, Kyobashi-ku (currently Tsukuda 2-chome, Chuo-ku). Here, I will become a leading female writer. Aioi Bridge was a wooden bridge, and few people crossed the bridge. There was a ferry that arrived in front of the gate from the time of Eitai Bridge, and the willow of the gate was a landmark of the ferry. It seems that the time rain went to a women's language school (currently Futaba Gakuen) in Tsukiji Reservation by Tsukuda. In September 1910, Tsukuda Island was severely damaged by the tsunami, but the breakwater was safe because the pine, which my father had elaborated, firmly rooted.
[Lower photo] See Tsukuda 2-chome from Aioi Bridge. Of course, there are no pine trees on the willow and breakwaters at the gate, and there are stunning rows of cherry trees.
Shigure Hasegawa died on August 23, 1941. At the beginning, "There is Kazuha in the Meiji era ..." is a praise in the condolences of Eiji Yoshikawa. In addition, Yaeko Nogami is a great meritorious person who sent many female writers to the world from "Women's Art", and mourns "unexperienced people like Ougai and Soseki". At present, it is not very popular, but it seems that there are no monuments or explanation boards related to time rain in Chuo-ku. (Speaking of that, it seems that her name was not in the text of the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification.) I don't feel very sorry.
"The atmosphere of the downtown summer is that the sunset is pushed up from Okawa with the upper tide." It was a hot day, but near the evening, I felt the same cool breeze as before.

This year, the Oedo Festival Bon Odori Tournament was held grandly at Hamacho Park on Friday, August 27 and 28 (Sat). . Even in the evening, I went on the first day while the heat still remains, so I will introduce it.
[Venue]
Go straight through the park through Edo-style Daimon of the Oedo Festival Bon Odori Tournament, and you will find a plaza in the "Friendship and Exchange City Corner", where tents in each city sell special products such as products and food .
Friendship and exchange cities are Ishikawa-cho, Hibara-mura, Fujikawaguchiko-cho, Higashine-shi, Tamano-shi, Tochigi-shi.
And just after passing through the gate, on the left pathInhabitant of a ward facility (Villa Motosu, Izu Highland-so) Following the tent of PR
Chuo-kuTents from antenna shops in Hokkaido (Hokkaido, Niigata, Gunma, Aomori, Yamanashi, Fukushima, Nara, Yamagata) sell specialty products side by side.
Immediately after passing through the gate of the "Oedo Festival Bon Dance Festival", a panel of "Oedo cut-out picture" jumped into my eyes. late Tokugawa shogunate's Kaei era, such as "Omawanai Daimyokoji pictorial map", "Kanda Hamacho Nihonbashi Kita", "Honsho pictorial map", "Naito Shinjuku Sendagayabe map", "Toto Shitaya map", etc.
The ground is the Bon Odori venue. There is a tower in the center, and from 4:00 pm, the ondo by folk singers (Susumu Fujiyama, Yuriko Shima, Shozo Fukuda) was performed from the top of the tower, and the people of the folk song Federation had already begun dancing.
In the surrounding area, ticket sales offices, town associations (Tsukishima Union, Shinkawa 2-chome Koshiichi / Koshiji, Shintomi, Nihonbashi 3, 5, and 7 divisions, Kyobashi Shichinobe Hatchobori Sanno, Kachidoki Toyomi district) Tent, fair's yakisoba, baked and morokoshi, Frankfurt, shaved ice, cotton candy, dumplings, and other drinks such as draft beer and soft drinks. In addition, on the ground, there was a Hisamatsu Kotsu Mother's Association, a corner for fixing the arrival, a game corner (Arima Elementary School, Nihonbashi Elementary School PTA), and a rescue station.
In addition, the tents of "Setonoichi" held in Ningyo-cho the other day, "Betara-shi" to be held in the future, and "Toshinoichi" paid by Yagenbori were also small. There was.
[Opening Parade]
At 5:30 pm, the parade began, led by a music car (Hamacho Hayashi float) and two white bikes.
The banner is held by a female student at Nihonbashi Junior High School, followed by a group of woodworking and Matoi by members of the Edo Fire Memorial Association First Ward, and a Chuo-ku Tourism Ambassador Miss Chuo.
After that, the children's portable shrine and the children's balloon group (Nihonbashi small, Arima small, Hisamatsu small, Tokiwa small) continue. The portable shrines are handmade by each elementary school.
The parade departed from Ningyocho Dori and amazake Yokocho Intersection, passed amazake Yokocho, crossed Kiyosu Street, and entered the venue of Hamacho Park.
[Opening Ceremony]

After 6:00 pm, for a celebration, the first ward of the Edo Fire Memorial Association (mainly)Chuo-kuIn the Edo period, the first and second groups of the fire extinguisher in the Edo period (equivalent to the jurisdiction) sang "Kirikiri" and entered, and two "Transfer of Matoi" and a ladder (ladder) Three members each showed their skills of riding a ladder using one unit.
Ladder riding techniques include "Tomi", "Hasso", "Handan", "Haragame", "Haragame", "Sagame", "Shachi", "Kimo crush", and "Kimotsubushi", and on the way, "Hana no Shiwa", "Blower", "Blower", etc. The audience sent words "cool" and "wow amazing" and generous applause.

There was a greeting saying, please dance and enjoy a lot from children to the elderly. Next, there were greetings from Mr. Mihide Yada, the mayor of the central ward, and Mr. Hiroaki Nakajima, chairman of the ward assembly.
(The photo below shows the order from left: Chairman Kobori, Mayor Yada, and Chairman Nakajima)
The invited guests were Mariko Okada, a member of the city from Chuo-ku, Abe, director of Hisamatsu Police Station, and Mr. Hara, Nihonbashi Fire Station Hara, and the vice chairman of the Oedo Festival Executive Committee from the town council lined up on the tower.
We met the 28th Chuo-ku Tourism Ambassador, Miss Chuo Tomomi Sawada, Mana Mikami, and Azusa Takajo, who attended the opening ceremony at the ground. Was. (Photos are from left to right: Mikami, Sawada, and Takagi.) Is this the last job? In September, the next 29th Miss Chuo will be decided.
Thank you for your hard work for a year. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
[Bon Odori Festival]
The opening ceremony is over, and the Bon Dance Festival is finally at around 6:40 pm.
A dance circle centered on dance teams such as the folk song Federation and the town council around the tower (Yagura) in line with the familiar Bon Odori songs such as the Tokyo Ondo, and the Chuo-ku original Ondo `` This is Edo Bon Dance '' Was made.
"This is Edo Bon Dance", some people may pull that if you see the title of the song and some English in the lyrics, only young people can dance ... However, singing singers, folk singers, and melody are still Bon Odori songs, and they are very familiar as ordinary Bon Odori songs.
As you may know, I will post the lyrics of "This is Edo Bon Dance" for your reference. (I quoted from the "Tokyo Chuo Net" site.)
Everyone from adults to children was familiar with Bon Odori, gestures, and as the night went on, many people filled the Bon Odori venue and gradually danced in a big whirlpool.
As the annual "Oedo Festival Bon Odori Tournament", the population of Chuo-ku is also increasing, as one of the important events in the hometown (Furusato) Chuo-ku that deepens "contact" and "bonds" It will continue to develop.
I'm looking forward to next year.

On August 18, a “town walk tour” was held with the participation of eight people.
Yamamotoyama's shop is very convenient after going up the B4 exit of Nihombashi Station.
Despite the visit just right time, we were greeted with a full smile.
First of all, we received cold tea, followed by delicious sencha, Mr. Yamamoto, the company's history, Q & A, and
Everyone listened seriously to the explanation of how to make delicious tea.
In Yamamoto's explanation, expensive tea is slow to warm the temperature a little.
When I asked a woman, the way of brewing delicious tea is slow at about 85 ° C.
Please refer to it.
Participants looked at the coffee room and a very conscientious set menu of tea and sweets.
Next time, I slowly said that when I came to Nihonbashi, I would definitely stop by.
My recommendation today was ¥350 for a set with mizuyokan.
Next, go to the "Pen Museum" by a pilot in Kyobashi.
Not only did you explain the history of the company's founding, pilot marks, exported Dunhill Namiki, and other high-grade lacquer lacquer makie products?
In Q & A, for example, it was better to use a practical pen depending on the application, for example, thin letters are for stationery, medium letters are suitable for signs, medium letters are suitable for signs, etc. .
He also said that kanji is limited to Japanese fountain pens.
With the kindness and polite explanation of the director, even if you ask everyone at least once, it is over 25 minutes.
Everyone said, "I'm glad I came!"
This is a souvenir from Mr. Yamamoto and the pilot Pen Museum.
Ginzo purchased "Nihonbashi Bijin", a powdered tea that is convenient to carry with Mr. Yamamoto.
Now, let's work on pen calligraphy to correct the bad writings.

I led the long-established tour course (town walking tour industry course) on July 21. It started at 10 o'clock, and 9 people participated today.
①"Ninben" of bonito flakes First of all, I visited the bonito "Ninben".
I sat down in a chair in a cool place under the ground and listened to him. There were only interesting stories about how to make bonito using bonito "Kaitai-kun".
(Dismantling-kun is sold for 3990 yen!)
In particular, bonito flakes are the hardest food in the world. Bonito-bushi made with bonito belly meat is called female-bushi, and bonito made with back meat is called male-bushi. It is said that there is such a reason for the use of bonito in marriage celebrations and drawers. It was especially interesting.
Also, it was my first time to see the whole bonito flakes so close before shaving. I was able to eat the bonito cut on the spot, and it was a great study.
The participants were also asked a lot of questions, and it was so successful that the stay time was slightly exceeded.
I asked the store manager who was limited to the head office and bought it. Go with Edo reshing and bonito! In both cases, naming is interesting. With bonito, I bought a lot of go for homecoming souvenirs.
In the shop, there were also tastings such as eel and sea bream rice, all of which were delicious. All participants received dashi as souvenirs (*^^ *)
Ninben's website
②Nori Yamamoto Next is Mr. Yamamoto-noriten. When I entered, there was a chair and a TV on my left. There was a panel of Yoko Yamamoto from a young age. I sat in this chair and listened to the manager's story.
While tasting seaweed before baking and seaweed after baking, tasting and tea Everyone was eagerly listening to the store manager's story. The Maruume logo mark used by Nori Yamamoto is used. Nori values the scent like plums, and high-quality seaweed during the cold when plums bloom. It is said that it was named after it was collected. It is also said that Yamamoto-noriten was the one who produced the Azuki seaweed.
By the way, Yoko Yamamoto seems to have been the image talent of Yamamoto-noriten for 42 years. It is said that it has been certified as a Guinness Record as the world's longest exclusive model contract years. The panel of the Guinness certificate was also displayed.
I couldn't see the demonstration today because the seaweed roaster was absent, but I couldn't see it. This demonstration finish glue is limited to Nihonbashi. I also bought a lot of souvenirs for homecoming.
And this collaboration with Kitty-chan. I had previously received Kitty's canned seaweed chips from an acquaintance. Nori chips were also very delicious, but this can be purchased at department stores all over Japan.
The one in this pack is on a seaweed that is large enough to be wrapped around rice balls. Mentaiko and plums are scattered, and it seems that they are sold only at the head office at the moment.
I've never seen anyone who doesn't like seaweed, so it's a good souvenir!
The commercial of Nori Yamamoto is being broadcast on the TV in the store. After leaving the store, "♪ Nori is Yamamotto-, Yamamotto-no-ri" I didn't leave my head for a while (laughs).
The homepage of Yamamoto Nori
③Eitaro Sohonbu Next, we crossed Nihonbashi and went to Eitaro Sohonho. Eitaro is famous for candy, but this main store is Japanese sweets and karinto. There are a wide variety of products, and there is also a coffee room where you can enjoy sweetness and meals.
There's a big goodwill on the storefront. Kyoto and Osaka sweets and goodwill are often printed on a white background. In Edo and Nihonbashi, trademarks are common for dark blue goodwill.
There are also red cobblestones and granites, and the story of the origin of the stone. He also talked about the origins of Umeboshi candy and Kintsuba, which are known for its round and red cans. When I ate Umeboshi candy for the first time, I was surprised that it was not dried plums (laughs). The woman at that time used this candy like a gross on her lips. It seems to have been painted, so it's an interesting wisdom.
And I asked the store manager again for a limited one. The limited items were raw and couldn't be a souvenir. We purchased karinto, Peasen, Nihonbashi buns, etc. as souvenirs for homecoming. Eitaro's shops are located in the basement of the country. Most of them are classic candy, and they do not sell karinto. Actually, I handed it to an acquaintance in Osaka as a souvenir. "Eitaro has Karinto and Manju ~ I thought it was only candy ~" I was surprised (*^^*) Also, Nihonbashi Manju was a souvenir for grandma. It was so delicious that I was bothered to call me because of that (laughs).
I bought warabi mochi and black pepper peasen for myself. When I ate it cold, it was very smooth and delicious.
All the participants received a candy set as a souvenir.
The origins of stones, candy, and kintsuba are also found on this website.
The homepage of Eitarou Sohonbu.
It was very hot this day, but it was 2 hours in no time. There are many long-established shops in Nihonbashi, and you may be able to go around various shops in a short distance. It seems that the long-established tour course is a popular course. Next time there will be a tour of the same course on Wednesday, September 22nd. Everyone, please join us~ (*^^*)

I didn't know that subway Nihombashi Station and Kayabacho Station were connected by underground passages.
Two years ago, when I walked from Nihombashi Station to Kayabacho Station, I went out to the ground on the way, and I thought that the underground passage was cut off.
When I got off to Kayabacho, it was a strong shower.
It's going to be soaked to walk to Nihombashi Station on the ground.
According to the underground guide map, it seems that the passage is cut off at Exit 11, so I decided to walk along the underground passage because I thought it would be better to avoid rain even before that exit.
When you come to Exit 11, there is an underground passage on the left side.
Display to Nihombashi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line 6:00 to 23:00 In Arikabe, traffic hours are 6:00 to 23:00 Other than the above, notes that are closed.
The passage leads to the stairs, and the ceiling going forward while going down and climbing is rounded out such as pipes.
Arriving at Nihombashi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line There is a ticket gate for Haneda.
Go down the stairs in front of the ticket gate
Here we proceed to the flat road on the right, divided into two hands, a staircase and a passage.
I was taken to the ticket gate (platform) of the Tozai Line.
Go up to the ticket gate floor (B1) with the elevator just before.
I arrived next to Cored.
Today, I was able to go through the underground passage from Kayabacho to Nihombashi Station.
It takes 8 minutes.
The underground passage is connected.
●Check the way home from Nihombashi Station.
Why did you go to the ground two years ago?
Why wasn't it possible to pass through the passage that came today?
I searched for directions to Kayabacho Station on the underground passage at Nihombashi Station, but I couldn't find it.
For the time being, I will aim for Nihombashi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line.
There is an escalator in front of the Toei and ticket gates. I'll try it.
Only the exit of D3.D4 is on the top. I can't find an underground passage.
Two years ago, I was mistakenly riding this escalator
I'll go down the stairs near the ticket gate a little more.
Certainly, there is a guide to the ticket gate for Haneda.
It was good.
If you walk along this road, you can go back to Kayabacho.
This passage is very convenient.
It is useful when the weather is bad.
