"Cool of Goldfish"-Art Aquarium Exhibition in Nihonbashi

[Vickie] September 7, 2011 08:30

"You can see fashionable goldfish art in Nihonbashi."

I heard this at the beginning of summer. "I can't see it carefully because it's crowded anyway," says it's a private way to go out of the season and go to see it. But! While I'm wondering, this event is over this weekend! You have to hurry!

That's why I came to Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall, where the "Art Aquarium Exhibition" is being held.

Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall is a new famous spot that Muromachi is proud of (3rd place in the ranking of TV Tokyo's "Ad Street Heaven" broadcast in June!) It is located on the 5th floor. After passing through the entrance on the 1st floor, I went to the escalator while pulling my back hair to the smell of "Ninben", which smells fluffy. The reception desk is on the 4th floor.

When you enter, you suddenly see this Japanese modern aquarium.

The beauty of the goldfish and the flower arrangement competition are wonderful. Expectations are growing!

Various types of goldfish are displayed in a beautiful aquarium that reflects light.

It's just like an "art aquarium". Have you ever felt that the deposit was such a fashionable one (laughs)?

Two polyhedrons. jpg

There are two large polyhedron aquariums. It's a masterpiece. Goldfishes that move dorsal fin gracefully in response to the reflection of light. Beautiful!

With Japanese lantern in the background. jpg

This is with a lot of Japanese lantern in the background that reminds you of the "Mitama Festival" at Yasukuni Shrine.

It is a novelty that overturns the old image of night shops and goldfish. The bright goldfish swimming in the giant goldfish bee "Oiran". It's a great presence.

I didn't look closely, "What is it like?", But the number of goldfish swimming (more than 1,000!) I was overwhelmed by the perfect fusion with the art of light! Please enjoy the world view of Hidechi Kimura, the leading "aqualist" player.

After 19:00, it will be transformed into a bar lounge, further enhancing the atmosphere of the adult.

Why don't you enjoy the coolness of Edo in a different space in Nihonbashi this week, when the remaining heat is still severe?

Introduction of Chuo-ku Tourism Association member stores 14 Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo Hanagoyomi

[Silver] September 6, 2011 08:30

Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo is located at 1-3-22 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, across Yaesu Street from the north exit of Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station. Today, I went to the restaurant "Hanagoyomi" for lunch.

From the entrance on the first floor, head to the front lobby and restaurant on the 15th floor. In front of the elevator platform on the first floor, there is a sign of "Ryokan Gofuku Bridge Ryumeikan" at the time of its founding. It is said that it is a ryokan with a history of more than 100 years.

CIMG8989.jpg

The buffet I was looking forward to is a smile of the staff who welcomes smiles, and the spirit of Japanese hospitality and the dishes of Japanese side dishes are carefully seasoned. Lunch at "Hanagoyomi" is a Japanese-style buffet, entitled "Four Seasonal Food Ayazen", and it costs ¥ 1,200 on weekdays. Another dish of grilled fish pickled in Saikyo is ¥1,800.

CIMG8992.jpg

CIMG8996.jpgThe first side dish was taken too much and it was not served very neatly, but boiled oysters, sukiyaki, and so on.

Vegetable tempura, Takano tofu, egg-yaki, pumpkin, river shrimp fried, etc.

Rice and miso soup are served by women.

You can enjoy the view of Yaesu Street by the window.

I'm looking forward to seeing you at night.

The next serving you replaced

Assist, hijiki, boiled egg, green onion egg binding, egg-yaki, potato salad, bath-fried radish in the middle. It's very polite and elegant seasoning.

Next door was a young couple who seemed to be Japanese and enjoyed eating and talking.

Oh, it was delicious.happy01

I'd like to come with someone next time.

As an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Nihonbashi Bridge, "Japan Hundred Highway Exhibition special exhibition" (panel display) will be held from August 20 to September 21, 2011 at the underground concourse between the Ginza Line of Nihonbashi Muromachi and Mitsukoshimae Station on the Hanzomon Line.
IMG_1729coltcomp.JPGThe path pioneered by far ancestors. The road that the daimyo passed in sankin kotai. And the path that is indispensable for the lives of local people. Spots are placed on highways and sideways (side highways) that are closely related to such areas.

IMG_1659coltcomp.JPGThe map of Hyakukaido on display includes Oshu Kaido, Tokaido, Kiso Nakasendo, Nikko Kaido, Dewa Kaido, salt roads, Kawagoe Kaido, Hokkoku Kaido, Gujo Kaido, Mino Kaido, Kumano Kodo, Inaba Kaido, Tosa Kaido, Nagasaki Kaido, etc. are displayed on the map at a sharp edge. (I'm sorry, I can't see the details in the picture above. Actually, please visit the venue and see it.

There were 7 corners as follows.
"Edo-Gokaido" (Chuo-ku), "Koshu Kaido" (Chiyoda-ku), "Hida Takayama, Historical Road" (Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture), "Hagi Gokai" (Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture), "Great East Japan Earthquake and Road".
Each feature is compactly expressed with photos, diagrams and words. There's also a pamphlet in each corner.

IMG_1727colcompt.JPGIf you are interested in history, highways, earthquakes, and product exhibitions, why not take this opportunity to visit us? Also, on the wall of this exhibition hall (underground concourse of the subway metro Mitsukoshimae Station), a photo exhibition (air photographs around Nihonbashi) and "Kidai Shoran" are shown in permanent exhibition.
IMG_1725coltcomp.JPGIn the photo exhibition, two large photo panels are displayed side by side. One was from 2006 (2006), and the other was from 1944 (1944) before the Tokyo Air Raid. In 1944, there was Ryukagawa, Sakaigawa, a ward in Chiyoda-ku and Chuo-ku. Can I find it?

IMG_1739colcomp.JPG"Kidai Shoran" is said to have been drawn around the 2nd year of culture (1805) during the Edo period, the 11th Shogun Ienari Tokugawa, and detailed picture scrolls of the 7 towns (760m) from Kanda Imagawa Bridge to Nihonbashi. I am.

This picture scroll is a replica of the one owned by the National Museum of Asian Art in Berlin (actually expanded from 12.3m to about 17m by 1.4 times).

It's a valuable resource for knowing the state of Edo town at that time.

There are 88 stores, including Mitsukoshi's predecessor, Mitsui Echigoya, and 1671 people come and go, as well as 20 dogs, 13 horses, 4 cows, monkeys and hawks. If you look at it, you can see the bustle of the time.

It seems that he was visited by the Ushimachi Fire (Heitora Fire) in the following year's culture (1806), and it is a valuable picture scroll because it was the picture just before that.
I think many of you have already seen it, but if you haven't yet, please take a look at this "Japan Hundred Highway Exhibition".
