Aunt's Morning Market in Ningyocho Katsugiya

[kimitaku] June 22, 2013 14:00

P1000207-1.jpg
Walking along Ningyocho-dori in the rainy season, a morning market began on the east corner of amazake Yokocho.

I heard the rumor, but an aunt is expanding the store alone and talking with customers with a smile.

P1000208-1.jpg The cucumber in the photo is wonderful. Cucumber full of baskets.

I tried to count the gloss of the morning picked, but I can't count how many there are. It looks very heavy if you have it. 。

The customers are familiar, and everyone leaves the store with a word. There are lots of vegetables in my hand.

I try to take a picture of my aunt, but I can't easily cut the crowd.

Looking at her aunt from a distance, she always smiles to the coming people. This woman is not just a man.

Since the store was finally vacant, go near, I squashing in and greeting with "Hello".

Aunt greets with a smile saying, "Konchi is a customer, cucumber is good, 100 yen for 4 bottles, let's lose a little more ...".

P1000211-1.jpg

When I asked, I started when I was still in my twenties, saying, "I was still a punchy ... hahahahahahaha" was born in 1928.

Young people may not know, but he said that he was doing "Katsuya" at that famous Keisei Electric Railway. Stop it 20 years ago.

After that, he said he was doing a morning market here in Ningyocho. He said he brought vegetables from his house in the morning.

"It's close to you here and there, it's nice," he said. Shortly after that.

"How about tomatoes, this is another, how about?" Everyone was happy to buy. 500 yen for 4 bags.

P1000209-1.jpgWhen I heard, "I don't have any money."

"It's good, I'm a hobby," "I'm boring at home, and I'm going to talk to you here."

"Young now, I can't carry this luggage, because I got on the train many times heavier."

In the 1940s, aunts of "Katsugiya" boarded from around Sakura, the leading car of the Keisei train at that time.

When I entered the city center, I went around to dealers from various places and sold vegetables.

P1000212-1.jpg Now, my aunt lives in Abiko. My husband came in a light tiger until 7 o'clock in the morning, left it here, and sold until 11 o'clock.

Today's aunt, the vegetables were sold well, and only cucumbers were left, waiting for her husband to come.

The shop is closed once a week on rainy or bad weather days. It seems that you can't go out unless you are in good physical condition.

Shake hands with your aunt. "I'll come again," he said, "You're well."

 "What's your name?" When asked

"I don't have enough to give my name,"

Grandma gave me the hot youth of Showa.

The live house "FANY FANY FANY" opens in Kyobashi

[Apricot peony] June 20, 2013 14:00

Speaking of Kyobashi during the Edo period, it was the birthplace of Edo Kabuki, where the first Kanzaburo Nakamura raised the tower, and was bustling as a downtown area.
Today, however, large buildings are lined up, and most of the people who come and go are businessmen or OLs in ties and suits.
There were a lot of people in the daytime, but at night they disappeared, and it feels like a business district that was a bit unsavory.
However, some businessmen in suits may say that they stretched their hair and played the guitar when they were a student, or recently started "Oyaji Band" with the punch pattern they took in the past.

Music producer PaPa (Kazuo Makita) has opened a live house in Kyobashi where such people can easily drop in and relax after work.

On the day I went, an acoustic live with singer-songwriter Yoshitaka Kobayashi and Kahon's Hachiya joined.

Most were Kobayashi's original songs, but from songs I made during my school days to recent songs (the title is "Red-chanko soon") where my 60th birthday was visible, spelling the honest feelings I felt at that time In the lyrics, I laugh bitterly as the same generation, and nodd when I understand it.
Listening to your child when you were small, what you thought when you were caring for your mother, your favorite soccer and the sea, and comments before the song, it seems that the scene will really come up .
Mr. Kobayashi's bright and warm personality wrapped the venue in a gentle atmosphere, and it took time in no time.

Mr. Kobayashi is scheduled to appear regularly, but it seems that a variety of other performers are planned, so why not come back to work?

It was pre-opened in May and has recently started full-scale operations.
Business hours for the time being are Monday to Friday from around 17:00 to 23:00.
It seems that Saturday and Sunday are scheduled from 12:00 to 23:00.

Long-established Japanese paper Nihonbashi Ozu Washi

[Mumin] June 19, 2013 14:00

We visited Nihonbashi Honmachi to visit Ozu Washi-san, a long-established Japanese paper company founded in 1653.

F1001171.JPG

Director Matsuura of the Ozu Archives, Mr. Nakamura, in charge of the gallery and cultural classroom, responded comfortably.

Currently, this building is under seismic construction, so the historical archives and galleries are being reduced and exhibited.

Thousand boxes (used in the Edo period) If you put a thousand cars in this box, it weighs about 20 kg.

The founder is from Ise-Matsusaka, and among his relatives, Motoori Norinaga, is also a Japanese literary scholar. However, in 1929, the founder of Ozu withdrew from the business. The president has been decided from among the employees. It seems that the current manager is the 17th generation. The photo below shows the Ozu founding family tree.

The production areas of Japanese paper are mainly Echizen, Tosa and Mino.

Recently, the needs of Japanese paper have become scarce, so most Japanese paper producers are their families alone.

In the hall, a creative weden dress made of wonderful Japanese paper is displayed.

6/12 (Wed.) to 6/24 (Mon.) "Utrilo Exhibition" will be held at Nihonbashi Takashimaya 8th floor hall.

It's done. Maurice Utrilo (1883-1955), who was said to be "the painter of Montmartre".

This is a retrospective exhibition commemorating the 130th anniversary of his birth.

When I was a boy, I became alcoholism due to family circumstances and painted as a rehabilitation.

It was the starting point for me to enter this road. His talent blossomed in a blink of an eye, and many masterpieces have been created.

 I sent it to you.

On the other hand, there are many problems due to the effects of alcoholism and human relationships, and pictorial expression.

The only thing may have been the relief of one's soul.

Drink 8-10L of wine a day and get to be called "ritorilo" and draw pictures. What

 Did you spend your days?

In this exhibition, 70 works that express the pure soul while being hurt are exhibited.

"Gallery Sunayama" during the special sale of ceramics

[Satoken] June 3, 2013 08:07

I went to "Gallery Sunayama" in the nearby ceramics gallery.

It was just a special sale.

It seems that it was moved to its current location three years ago.

In the current special sale, masterpieces who were active in the Showa era will be gathered together, and more than 50 items such as flowers and sake ware will be exhibited and sold mainly in bowls.

A lot of rare items are available, and the works of nostalgic artists are displayed. There is also a painting depicting the father of the owner, Mr. Ishikawa.

You can buy it at a reasonable price. Mr. Ishikawa, the owner, kindly taught me to me who is an amateur in ceramics. Please drop in at this opportunity.

The location is as follows.
