On March 20, when I went to the ground from the subway "Mitsukoshi-mae", a large hanging advertisement on the wall of the department store "Echigo-ya, Onushimo Spring Yonou"
This is a playful and stylish copy that makes you look shiny even if you are not a historical drama fan. Ryuishi, I was a little happy to be able to afford the large store Echigoya, and as I walked on, I saw a new view opposite the street.
Today's Coredo Muromachi 2-3, the grand opening. Despite the unfortunate rain, there is a great crowd. I'm worried about what kind of shops are in, but I'm sure I'm looking for it. To TOHO Cinemas Nihonbashi, the first cinema complex in the Nihonbashi area. It is choledo Muromachi 2. If you buy a ticket here on the second floor at the entrance and wait in the lobby, there will be an announcement on the start of guidance to each screening floor 10 minutes before the start of the screening. After all, there are 9 screens. Listen to the announcement of the start of entry and order drinks (Note: Drinks are not sold on the screening floor). The screening floor is on the 3rd to 5th floors. I go to the 5th floor, a movie version of "Nihonbashi" by Kyoka Izumi, starring, directed, and edited by Tamasaburo. It will be open to the public from the 21st, but it will be a preliminary screening in line with the opening of the building. I'm watching the stage of the Nissei Theater in December 2012, but every time I saw the information of "Cinema Kabuki", I wanted to see how it was different from the stage and the movie, so it was just a good opportunity I ran. Since it was not Kabuki, it was called "Grand Cinema" and "Shoot the entire film in a theater without spectators". The cast below Tamasaburo is the same as the stage. The impression after watching is natural, but "stage" and "movie" are different. There are many ups and it's impressive. It's this up that I think it's hard for actresses, but Tamasaburo is still beautiful. It may be said that it is unique to a movie that you can clearly see even the pattern and texture of the kimono and the painting of small items such as hot water only. It feels unsatisfactory that there is no response to the excitement of the expectation of waiting for the audience seats at the theater or the reaction to the performance, but it was troublesome to applaud by hearing the shy pumps. I recommend you to see it now. It's not a good idea to enjoy Nihonbashi in the new Nihonbashi Muromachi. If you have time, it may be a good idea to go to the "Jizo on the West Riverside", which appears many times. Next time, I would like to go out to the shop slowly.

"COREDO Muromachi 2" and "COREDO Muromachi 3" opened on March 20.
15 stores, "COREDO Muromachi" and "Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower", were reopened on the same day.

◆"COREDO Muromachi 3" on the right, "COREDO Muromachi" on the left, and "COREDO Muromachi 2" on the left.
◆"COREDO Muromachi" and "COREDO Muromachi 2" are connected by a crossing corridor.
"COREDO Muromachi 2" and "COREDO Muromachi 3" were full of fun and delicious shops with all 68 stores.
There is a sense of unity in the Japanese atmosphere, and it is a very pleasant space.
In addition, "Sakura Festival" is being held in Nihonbashi.
The cherry blossoms are lit up to enjoy a night walk, the iconic large Japanese shop curtain where tradition is revived, and the cherry blossom bar where you can go around long-established stores and the latest shops are being held.
The cherry blossom light-up is very beautiful and memorable.

"Sakura Festival" will be held until April 6th.
I recommend it.

Nihonbashi is the center of Edo, which prospered as a big city that surpasses Paris and London. As a starting point for water transportation and land transportation, many people and goods gathered in the neighborhood and played a central role in the economy and culture.
In recent years, redevelopment plans have been promoted with the aim of creating a city that combines cutting-edge urban functions while inheriting the genealogy of history and tradition, with the government, private and local communities working together. On March 20, new commercial facilities "Cored Muromachi 2" and "Cored Muromachi 3" opened, and the city is bustling newly dressed.
In the Nihonbashi area, from March 20 to April 6, the event "Nihonbashi Spring / Sakura Weeks" is held on the theme of "Sakura", a symbol of spring.
This time, we will focus on the main event of the "Sakura Festival", "Sakura Light Up", which aims to "let you experience new ways to enjoy spring and cherry blossoms while feeling the tradition of Nihonbashi."
The venue will be Mitsui Main Building, Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, Choledo Nihonbashi, Choledo Muromachi, Choledo Muromachi 2, Choledo Muromachi 3, and Himotohashi Mitsukoshi Main Store Main Building.
The entire area, from historic buildings to new facilities, is lit up with cherry blossoms.

During the exhibition period, "Japanese shop curtain", which colored the eaves of Nihonbashi shops, revived during the Edo period. (Right and lower left)
From March 22nd to 23rd, around Edo Sakura-dori St., there is also a limited time "Night Sakura Open Bar" where you can enjoy the taste of nearby commercial facilities and stores. (in the lower row)
The free bus "Nihonbashi Sakura Bus" (lower right), which allows you to travel around the surrounding area, is also operated for a limited time, and you can enjoy a night walk of a new entertainment event while the whole is wrapped in a graceful cherry blossom-colored light.
In the second half of the exhibition, Ningyocho amazake Yokomachi "Sakura Festival" (March 30) and Nihachikai Sakura Festival (April 4-6) will be held.

Everybody came from a rural area to reach Nihonbashi.
In sankin kotai during the Edo period, only the three clans of Shinano, Takashima, Takato and Iida used Koshu Kaido.
Kiyonari Naito, the second head of the Takato Domain, who had the confidence of Ieyasu Tokugawa, was the lord of the Tokugawa family.
It is said that when Ieyasu entered Edo in 1590, Kiyoshige and Tadanari Aoyama examined the land around Edo in advance and welcomed Ieyasu.
The purpose of this achievement is to protect the important traffic points west of Edo Castle.
The current land of Shinjuku Gyoen has been given to Kiyoshige as "Yotsuya Yashiki". (See Shinjuku Cultural Map)
That said, today we decided to aim for Nihonbashi from Shinjuku 3-chome via Yotsuya, Kojimachi and Hanzomon through the moat of the Imperial Palace.
Of course, the purpose is not only healthy walking, but also a certain restaurant in Nihonbashi.
At Shinjuku Sanchome, I saw the picture of "Yotsuya Naito Shinjuku", one of the 100 famous Edo scenes of Hiroshige Utagawa, and imagined the streets of the time.
Ah, I finally came to see Cored Nihonbashi. Turn left here and it's Nihonbashi right away.
Well, where would you like to have a cup of "Thank you"?
Would you like to stop by the newly opened restaurants of Chored Muromachi 2 and 3 on March 20?

Postscript: In early March, when I walked from Nihonbashi to Shinjuku 3-chome, it was just 2 hours.
Shinjuku has a height of about 20m above sea level, so this time it took less than 2 hours to walk slowly.

The chilly days continued after Keihaku, but Sunday morning when the temperature rose and the weather became warmer. As I walked along the sidewalk along Ningyocho-dori, I noticed the display of Judo.

There was a branch with magnolia buds. As I thought it was cute , I found a magnolia in a street tree near the amazake Yokocho intersection. There were a lot of buds that seemed to open soon.

I thought that spring could be found everywhere in the city soon, so I finished my errand and moved out around Ningyocho-Nihonbashi after 3 pm. When I went to see the magnolia I saw in the morning again, the buds are swelling more than in the morning.

The number of people going to the city increased, and many people stopped and watched. In addition, I would like to introduce "Spring" that I found.
***

Mitsumata (Ningyocho-dori). The back is Rigare Nihonbashi Ningyocho, a high-rise apartment.

There was a branch with white flowers at the entrance of Yoshiume.
This street, called Geisha Shindo, seems to have not been damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake or the war, and it seems that the buildings at that time remain.
The winter scenery of February was also tasteful.

A cherry blossom tree near Yabusoba, Ningyocho. It's similar to Yoshino cherry tree. Is it different?

I think it's a cat willow ... (Ota sushi)

Walking toward Nihonbashi and crossing Showa-dori, the hydrangea street in Nihonbashi Honmachi is Okamezakura.
The dark pink and small petals are lovely.
Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms in Hashizume Japan were still small buds.
Sunlight cherry blossoms in front of Mitsubishi Warehouse Edobashi Warehouse Building under renovation. This was still a bud, but it's colored, isn't it?
After a little walk, the margaret was in full bloom in the planting of the Sumida River Terrace near Kiyosu Bridge.
However, the most favorite spring I found recently is Sakura Mochi and Sakura Dango from Mihara Domoto.
After all, dumplings rather than flowers

Looking at Kidai Shoran in Nihonbashi, I expanded my dream of traveling to Nikko and Oshu Kaido and started walking.
Turn right at the corner of Nihonbashi Yuito and go straight.
This corner is in front of Murata Glasses Store, Japan's first eyeglass specialty store.
There are buildings of major pharmaceutical companies on both sides. When you come to the "medicine museum"
I hit a highway. Beyond the highway, you can see Ozu Washi's store building.
Cross the pedestrian crossing at Honmachi 2-chome or Honmachi 3-chome.
Then go straight ahead with Ozu Washi's building on your left.

The opposite of Edoya, a brush specialty store that has continued since the Edo period, is currently a parking lot.
In one corner, there is a bronze stone monument. This is the Nikko Kaido signpost.

If you go straight, you will find a wholesale district in Yokoyamacho, follow the road and you will reach the intersection of Asakusabashi.
Here, use the underpass to go to Asakusabashi and Asakusa Mitsuke ruins.
At the police box, there is an explanation version of the ruins of the Gundai mansion, Asakusabashi and Asakusa Mitsuke.
Rather than simply walking honestly on the Nikko Kaido,
Visit Ozu Washi's gallery, visit the Satake Dainichi Nyorai wells behind the building, and visit Takarada Ebisu Shrine.
I think it would be good to listen to the bell at Jisshi Park, the ruins of the Kodemmacho prison Ishide sword, and the regrettable voice of the former prisoner of Yoshida Shoin.
To accompany your trip, it is recommended that you walk with an old map or the 100 famous Edo views of Hiroshige Ando.
You can also purchase a book with 100 famous views of Edo in one book at the Chuo-ku Tourism Association (the number is limited, please check it.) Telephone (03-6228-7907)
Let's have a good trip!
