Kimono Carnival in Nihonbashi! [Kimono Thalone]

[Shiba Inu] September 29, 2016 18:00

Do you know the event called "Kimono Salone"?

This is a major event in kimono and kimono fashion, which has been held mainly in COREDO Muromachi since 2012. Last year, the number of visitors was more than 10,000. What is the secret of its popularity...Whatever you say, the overwhelming gorgeousness that you can see! And it's a free event!

This year's event will be held twice in September and October. The September meeting has already ended, but I would like to introduce it briefly.

IMG_5329.jpg

"Kimono marche" was held in YUITO, next to COREDO. There were about 75 kimono dealers who participated, and kimonos worn by each participating store elaborately at the entrance are slurried.

IMG_5327.jpg

It is exhibited everywhere in the venue.

IMG_5328.jpg

That team's yukata is a hot topic! There is also a back number.

The kimono on display is also popular. All participants can vote. It's also fun to find your favorite kimono and dressing!

At the store booth, all types of kimono and kimono goods are sold, from long-established stores to up-and-coming young people.

IMG_5332.jpg

There is a convenient half-collar tape or kimono hanger that can be stored with closetts, and a stunning Yuzen dyeing that makes you feel like you are in the museum just by looking at it. There is also a special exhibition in Kyoto!

There is a demonstration corner of craftsmen in the venue.

IMG_5330.jpg

There is also a sales corner for kits that can easily tie Japanese hair. You can actually tie Japanese hair (charged).

IMG_5331.jpg

At the event corner, popular dressers gave tips on dressing and care courses, talk shows by popular cultural figures, stage for Nihon Buyo and shamisen, and even fashion shows. All of these can be viewed for free.

In addition, there is a corner where you can compare delicious Japanese sweets and Japanese sake drinks....。 Of course, there is also a kimono rental!

===========

This is the introduction of "Kimono Salone" in September.

October will be held at COREDO for three days, 28th (Fri), 29th (Sat) and 30th (Sun). The main item is coordination of 100 kimonos and a local kimono fashion show. There are plenty of other fun projects. Details have not been announced yet, but please look forward to it because it is a very exciting event every year. The venue, COREDO Muromachi, is directly connected to the station, so it is convenient to go out and safe even on rainy days.

When you go out, be sure to visit the neighboring Fukutoku Shrine. It is a shrine where lottery (lottery) has been held since the Edo period, and it is still a popular shrine that is said to have a spiritual experience in lottery. There is also a sale of "lottery bags" for storing lottery tickets.

Bunmeido Nihonbashi Main Store - Add sincerity to Deliciousness

[rosemary sea] September 29, 2016 09:00

This is the rosemary sea, which covers "gifts and enjoy yourself" as an approach.

DSC01422a.jpgI would like to introduce the Nihonbashi Main Store of Bunmeido, which was reopened on February 4, this year.

The history and background of the long-established Bunmeido has already been written several times on this blog, so I will omit it here.

About Mr. Bunmeido, Rozmari's episode

◎ A long time ago, I often used Bunmeido's castella, which was on the premises of Kiyose Station in Tokyo at the time, as a gift to customers at the expense of work.

◎ In recent years, I went to Bunmeido's Musashimurayama Plant near my home and the affiliated subsidiary "Ichibankan" to buy "Kamadashi Castella (fresh and fluffy castella cutout)" and cookies and cakes. .

From here, I would like to talk to the manager of the Hoshino Main Store.

DSC01416a.jpgCastella "Kisho"

It is a gem for those who love castella, made by selected raw materials such as crow bone eggs and Wasanbon sugar and kneaded technology.

Among Bunmeido, it is sold only here at Nihonbashi Main Store and Shinjuku Main Store.

DSC01415a.jpgNihonbashi Castella

On this day of the interview, it was a pattern and goldfish pattern of the adjacent COREDO Nihonbashi Muromachi aquarium. It's about to be the autumn maple pattern.

DSC01417a.jpgSpecial preparation

Special castella with letters and patterns, Mikasayama, and red and white buns are said to have received the support of customers. In addition to the default design, you can also include the original design.

Castella cools down a day, draws letters and pictures with chocolate, and Mt. Mikasa is branded.

I'll finish it at the factory. It takes about a week from order to delivery.

For orders and consultations, please contact Nihonbashi Main Store at 03-3241-0002.

DSC01414a.jpgGallery

There is a small gallery in the Nihonbashi Main Store and Cafe.

As a representative example, a Japanese painter famous for beauty paintings, Shinsui Ito (Meiji 31-Showa 47) painter "Moon no Echi" (<Monday> of Setsuki Hana trilogy) [Earlier picture] Is posted all year round. It seems that they are sometimes lent to the Shinsui Ito exhibition. Other works may change depending on the month.

BUNMEIDO CAFE

The Nihonbashi Main Store has a "BUNMUIDO CAFE" where you can enjoy cafes and meals.

How about using it for lunch?

03-3245-0002

Normally, business hours are from 9:30 to 23:00, but business hours and regular holidays are subject to change depending on the season, so please check the store or website.

DSC01418a.jpgSignboard

The foreheaded signboard displayed in the store is also handwritten by Shinsui Ito.

It has been posted since the reopening of February this year.

Until then, he was sleeping in the warehouse.

DSC01427a.jpgJapanese shop curtain and Other Books of Civilization Hall

The logo of the historic civilization hall is based on the book of sculptor Fumio Asakura (Meiji 16-Showa 39).

Many of his works called "Rodan of the Orient" are famous, but as you all know, Shigenobu Okuma on Waseda University campus and Kazuo Hatoyama and Haruko statues at Hatoyama Hall in Bunkyo-ku.

By the way, the person in the lower left of Japanese shop curtain is manager Hoshino.

[Silver] September 27, 2016 18:00

From the front of the Bank of Japan to the front of Mr. Kaishin's storefront across Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi and Chuo-dori.

It was called "Nihonbashi Busy Plaza: Area B", and on September 22, it was a great rain leg at first, but it rained around 4 o'clock.

Antenna shops, including Tohoku and Kyushu, and shoppers from local communities sold local specialties and products.

We will show you the shoppers and famous items in order. Please note that we cannot introduce everything in photos.

First of all, Kyushu is a truck with specialty products from Kagoshima Prefecture. Products sold include "Satsuma-age", "Red Satsuma" and "Golden Senuki" gifts from the earth, delicious Satsuma potatoes, and "Fresh-eared mandarin oranges" of flooding.

DSC01909.JPG

From the Ginza cotton shop, "Mensore! At the Okinawa Product Fair stall, TAKO RICE, Champloo, Okinawa soba, specialty confectionery, Chinsuko, etc. were sold.

DSC01912.JPG

At "Zarai Oita Zarai Oita", I bought a sweet called "Nanbanka Zabiru". This is a baked confectionery containing 3 pickled raisins and 3 white bean paste.

At the Ureshino Tea Industry Youth Association in Saga Prefecture, we had a delicious Ureshino tea. I'm really happy!

At the Tokyo Good Manners Project's tent, a campaign calling for good manners. I received a paper tote bag containing a wonderful smile and a pamphlet that guides you to the activities. This was very useful for shopping.

DSC01920.JPG

Among the famous items that Nihonbashi Nagasakikan opened and sold, "hand-baked Kasumaki" is a completely favorite. I love red bean paste in the castella, so I love it.

At Nihonbashi Toyamakan, purchase "famous confectionery Tsuki World". It is a dried sweet and recommended for tea.

At Eitaro's booth, "I'm making handmade." I got this right away. This time, I decided to buy it at the shop.

At the antenna shop in Iwate Prefecture, the popular product "Chera va?" "Purchase a set of 3 cans. Eat the mackerel and get blood smooth. Let's get well.

DSC01936.JPG

At the booth in Miyagi Prefecture, you can taste sake "Matsushima of Jotama Junmai Sake Snow". Yes, this was a beautiful sake.

DSC01937.JPG

And I purchased a very affordable "Karinto 400g". Is it suitable for me to keep the sweetness low?

At Nihonbashi Fukushimakan "MIDETTE", this time only delicious white peach. It is a rare peach in this September season. I also love "famous confectionery Mamadoru".

DSC01939.JPG

The final part of "Nihonbashi Busy Plaza: Area B" was near Mr. Kaishin.

The Nihonbashi Cuisine and Food Business Association was selling beer and other products, saying "Unagikuri Karayaki".

DSC01940.JPG

The final purchase was on this street, very heavy.

I'm looking forward to this as the antenna shop stamp rally will begin in October. Silver

Wild flora and fauna panel exhibition [Nara Mahorobakan]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] September 27, 2016 12:00

On the second floor of Nara Prefecture's antenna shop "Nara Mahoroba-kan" in 1-chome Nihonbashi Muromachi, a panel exhibition of endangered wild flora and fauna living in Nara Prefecture was held.

redd01.JPG

It seems that the current status of these flora and fauna Nara Prefecture Red Data Book for Wild Animals and Plants in Nara Prefecture has been published.

redd02.JPG

The period is from Tuesday, September 13 to 22 (Thursday), and I think that the panel exhibition is over by the time this blog is posted, but Nara Prefecture alone is such an endangered wild flora and fauna I was surprised that there were (some)

redd03.JPG

It seems that Red Data Books are made in each prefecture, but with this book, I thought that it would be better to deepen our understanding of protecting animals and plants and nature, and link them to some specific action.

redd04.JPG

It seems that these are all endangered animals and plants, such as Nipponbaratanago, Oyamarenge, Shirabiso, Himetaikochi, Gifcho, Komadori, Nagoya Dalma frog, Kasumi Salamander, etc.

redd05.JPG

There are many historical shrines and temples in Nara, and there are many natural and human heritages that should be preserved for future generations.

Tourism EXPO Japan 2016 JAPAN NIGHT

[Silver] September 26, 2016 12:00

Tourism EXPO Japan 2016 JAPAN NIGHT will be held on September 22 (Autumn Equinox Day. It was held on holidays.

The Japan Tourism Organization (JNTO), the Japan Tourism Promotion Association, the Japan Tourism Association, the Japan Tourism Association, the Japan Travel Agency, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Chuo-ku Tourism Association is also a series of names.

DSC01951.JPG

The stage was set in Nihonbashi, the starting point in Japan. They paraded at a special venue set up on Meibashi Nihonbashi in front of Colled Nihonbashi, demonstrating traditional performing arts and everyday training techniques.

The moderator's greeting included the mayor of Chuo Yata, the history of Nihonbashi's famous celebrities, and the greetings of guests.

"Edo Fire Memorial Party" showed Edo fire extinguishing woodworking and waming.

DSC01971 (360x202). jpg

A brave ladder ride that I practiced on a daily basis was shown. It's cool! This would have greatly increased his stock.

DSC01976 (360x202). jpg

Everyone at the venue was cheering for the wonderful techniques.

And I would like to introduce some of the participating organizations from all over the world.

"Kanuma Sculpture Stall" inherits the skills of Nikko Toshogu Shrine and decorates the entire surface (all around) with sculptures, or it is too fine to say a normal "float" . I felt it was a "moving Yomeimon gate". Before we went to the parade, we had a close-up.

DSC01960.JPG

Yes, this is designated as a "nationally designated important Intangible Folk Cultural Property" and is currently applying for UNESCO Intangible Cultural Property Commission registration. Let's start!

DSC01970 (360x202). jpg

And "Kanuma Imamiya Shrine Festival stall Gyoji", which has 27 such fine "Kanuma sculpture stalls", will be held on October 8th and 9th (Sun).

For more information, please visit the Kanuma City Tourism and Local Products Association website. http://www.buttsuke.com

And the memories of the Japanese team who played a great role in the Rio Olympics and Paralympics will be revived. Parade with the rhythm of small drums and samba by Brazilians and Japanese.

1474677481558.jpg

That heat will be transmitted! Eu gosto muito de Brasil! Next is Tokyo 2020.

And this is the appearance of the Akita Kanto Festival, who was waiting for the paper Japanese lantern to get wet while the light rain flickered.

"Well, next is Tokyo!" on the wall of Colled Nihonbashi. But it gave me energy.

DSC01981 (360x202). jpg

From the venue, I heard a lot of voices saying "I'm waiting!"

DSC01991 (360x202). jpg

The members of the Japan Tourism Promotion Association Tohoku Branch, which I saw at the venue, were also working hard to support.

The last is "Ushibuka Haiya Odori", a beef deep in Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture, led by Kumamon.

DSC01996 (360x202). jpg

In any case, in Ushibuka, more than 90% of local residents can dance this dance and it is a traditional culture loved by the locals. With this spirit, I hope that everyone in Kumamoto will be able to recover well. Let's do our best, Kumamoto! Let's do our best, Japan!

It was 2 hours to say yes. I hope that the Tourism EXPO Japan will continue to be held in Chuo-ku, and hope that the Japanese tourism industry will continue to develop toward 2020. Silver
