Correspondent-only tour "Brother Tokyo Showroom Visit Meeting"

[Edamame] May 31, 2017 09:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

But this time it's not an article with children.

With the cooperation of family members, it will be held on weekdays morning.

We have participated in a tour limited to correspondents of the tourist association.

DSC_1186-1.jpg

Thank you for visiting the Brother Tokyo Showroom.

IMG_2729-1.jpg

The location is very close to Kyobashi.

It's next to Tokyo Square Garden.

First of all, I would like to talk about the history of the company.

(Because the head office is Nagoya, he came all the way from there. Thank you very much.

IMG_2704-1.jpg

Brother, a sewing machine! It's an image.

The birth of a domestic sewing machine is from here.

However, the current company's mainstay is digital office equipment.

IMG_2707-1.jpg

It is necessary to make molds necessary for sewing machines.

What is it because I was able to use it to create detailed prints for typewriters.

Furthermore, the business development of the karaoke “JOYSOUND” developed from network technology.

IMG_2720-1.jpg

At first glance, it doesn't seem to be connected, but in fact, the roots of technology are the same.

I am looking forward to seeing how our business development will progress in the future.

What surprised me in the story was the color of Brother's printer.

It seems that they only make white or black.

The reason is "consideration for the environment."

The reason is that adding other colors = the hassle of painting = also leads to environmental impact.

IMG_2714-1.jpg

Certainly, our printer (made by Brother) is also white!

I thought it was simple and good.

For the first time, I learned that there was a reason.

Well, from here, the experience corner!

1: Embroidered with a sewing machine on the hand towel.

http://www.brother.co.jp/product/hsm/embropc/index.htm

・・・ This is a challenge for Edamame who has not used a sewing machine since home economics class in the first year of high school.

I thought it would be okay, but what is the current sewing machine?

It's all written on the machine with a number on where to put the thread ...

At the same time, the machine also does the needle through the thread ... ! !

In fact, the so-called "garden goods" when my daughter Azuki goes to kindergarten.

I heard rumors that they are often required to be handmade.

I was so clumsy that I was afraid two years away.

I think I can still do this! It's excellent enough to think for a moment.

It was fun to choose various patterns of embroidery.

(I would like to post a photo, but I made it with the "real name" of Azuki ... I'm sorry ((+_+)))

No. 2: Making a craft card.

Put a group photo of today's participants on a postcard.

Let's decorate it.

First of all, it's the appearance of label sealing equipment.

IMG_2716-01.jpg

http://www.brother.co.jp/product/labelwriter/index.htm

I think label stickers also have a strong image of "office supplies".

There's also a Disney mount.

There are a lot of things that are cute and want to use.

It is designed to print a lot of cute patterns even on the machine.

Recently, transparent bottles and storage cases sold at 100 yen shops have been sold.

It is said that the number of people who enjoy decoration and enjoy it is also increasing.

With the correspondents sitting on the same table

I was having fun working with you.

And here's what I was most surprised.

It's a machine called "Scan Cut".

IMG_2728-1.jpg

http://www.brother.co.jp/product/hsm/cm/product/index.htm

When I was a company employee, I wanted one in the office! !I thought it was a clumsy edamame.

(I was a clumsy person who was always having trouble decorating at the event.)

It is a cutting machine that allows you to cut paper and cloth into your favorite shape without using scissors or cutters.

There are many patterns built into machines.

If you specify "this shape in this size", it will cut it neatly.

Of course, you can also take in the illustrations and photos you wrote yourself with a scanner and cut them out.

Even if I'm clumsy ...

IMG_2730-1.jpg

It was so beautiful!

It was a really fun experience.

It was also a good opportunity to chat with other correspondents.

I would like to participate again if I have the opportunity.

[rosemary sea] May 30, 2017 09:00

It's rosemary sea, remarking "gifts and I enjoy myself".

Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO (Toshiyoroizuka Tokyo) of Kyobashi Edgran, last time I introduced some cakes.

Click here for the previous article ⇒ /archive/2017/05/toshi-yoroizuka.html

This time, we will introduce the main gift, baked confectionery, which is the theme of rosemary, and the bread corner.

This time, I also took care of Mr. Miyagi, sales manager of Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO.

Then, from the corner of baked goods ...

DSC02395a.jpg

Assorted baked sweets

A set of baked confectioneries perfect for gifts.

The left is 15 pieces, the most popular one. The right is 11 pieces, the popular NO.2.

It is an assortment carefully selected by Mr. Toshiyoroizuka. It seems that it is put in from popular baked goods.

In addition, it seems that "Okonomi assortment" will begin on June 1st.

DSC02393a.jpg

Chef coat

The package is popular. It is an assortment of 8 baked goods.

Next, from the bread corner ...

DSC02397a.jpg

Special curry bread

Bried curry bread using Semorina wheat. Products limited to Kyobashi. It's a self-confidence bread.

Bread with crisp surface. Among them is butter chicken curry.

I'd like you to add the attached curry sauce to this, but this is a vegetable curry sauce that uses plenty of onions.

Please enjoy synergistic effect of different flavors of curry.

DSC02398a.jpg

Bread with only soy milk

It is made only with soy milk and flour without using any water.

Since it is only soy milk, it is a very rich bread.

The interview date was May 19, but it was a product released from this day.

DSC02400a.jpgThe image on the left is a picture of the banner in the store.

It is a combination of Kyobashi's ukiyo-e and Toshiyoroizuka's logo.

"Regishi Island Strategies and Water Marks" and "Japan Standard Field"

[O'age] May 28, 2017 09:00

"Regishi Island Strategies and Water Marks" (2-32-1, Shinkawa, Chuo-ku)
tide level was defined as the average tide level in Tokyo Bay (1884), and was used as a standard for zero altitudes. The altitude of the "Japan Standard", which was established in Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku in 1891, was determined by surveying from the intersection. At present, the standard tide center has been replaced by an oil pot tide center in Sagami Bay, but it is an important historical site in the history of modern surveying technology in Japan.

IMG_9126.JPG IMG_9131.JPG

IMG_9138.JPG IMG_9139.JPG

Tour of Japan Standard Field (Chiyoda-ku)
June 3 was one of the events related to the survey day (the survey method was promulgated on June 3, 1949), Japan's standard point and open to the public. I can't usually see the door closed, but I've seen it for the first time. It was a very interesting event lecture.

IMG_9325.JPG IMG_9319.JPG

In the early Meiji era, a British-style benchmark was set up, and a method similar to an immortal character was carved into immortal objects, and heights were surveyed. In Western Europe, we heard that there were many cobblestones, and instead of digging holes on the road surface to set a benchmark, they carved symbols on the wall and set equipment on the horizontal line (nogroove). Since then, the surveying method has changed in Japan, and punctuality standards have been no longer used, and since then, it seems that the number of remaining non-textual notations has decreased due to disasters, war disasters, or burials. In Chuo-ku, the standard sign is clearly present at the bottom of the "Ichiishibashi Lost Shirase Stone Mark". (The role as a benchmark has been completed.)

IMG_9287.JPG IMG_9289.JPG

In addition, the related "Japan History Origin" is located in Minato-ku. This is also an important starting point.

Kyobashi Sweets full of chef's commitment-Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO-

[rosemary sea] May 27, 2017 14:00

It is rosemary sea, which shows the frontier spirit of "gifts and enjoy yourself".

Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO, which opened in Kyobashi Edgran on November 25, last year, is a restaurant of Chef Toshihiko Yoroizuka, a very famous and popular patissier, as you know.

A shop in Kyobashi filled with chef's commitment.

Half a year has passed since this shop opened, and I would like to introduce the patisserie on the first floor.

Thank you to Mr. Miyagi, sales manager, Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO.

DSC02385a.jpg

The cake showcase is very gorgeous.

The interview time was 1:00 pm, so it is this assortment, but most products seem to be sold out every day. Even if you add products, it seems that it will be very low around 7 pm.

DSC02387a.jpgThe most popular here is Jean Pierre.

Chef Armizuka, this cake bears the name of the teacher.

The chocolate mousse contains pistachio clambrulele.

The image is the size of Hall 4. As expected, the most popular, the smaller ones at this time were sold out.

DSC02392a.jpg

Showcasing a number of cakes lined up in the showcase, 5 of them.

I will introduce it in order from the right of the image.

Aprico

It's a cake limited to Kyobashi.

Apricot mousse contains caramel mousse and other items.

It's a bit bittersweet even though it's sweet and sour.

Cassis

Cake for adults with cassis mousse and fig dough.

Tart phrase of strawberry

Limited time cake of strawberry.

Among them, it is a strawberry tart with custard cream and strawberry sauce.

Eldeberencase

Caese is "cheese" in German. Here's a cheesecake.

Fresh cream is contained in the souffle type case.

Shupeizanne

Paizanne means "country style" in French.

It's a naming because the fragrant nuts used create a rustic feeling.

It is a cream puff that combines custard cream and nuts cream one by one, and finally uses plenty of nuts.

It's a very luxurious dish.

Finally, Toshi HEALTHY SWEETS (Toshi Healthy Sweets) is the hot topic now.

Low curve = low carbohydrate. In the world, there are some people who call "rocabo" or "rocabo".

Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO, we focused on "delicious low curves" and pursued deliciousness.

Body-friendly sweets that anyone can enjoy with peace of mind using racants made from natural sweet ingredients extracted from arkan fruit.

It is available only in Kyobashi.

DSC02391a.jpg

Low carbohydrate tiramisu

Low carbohydrate tiramisu using Hokkaido mascarpone cheese.

DSC02389a.jpg

Low carbohydrate berylol

It is a soft, low-carbohydrate roll cake of strawberries and strawberries.

Here is one announcement.

Toshi Yoroizuka TOKYO, we have set up a terrace seat in front of the shop.

You can now have the sweets and bread you have purchased on the spot as it is delicious.

Next time, we plan to introduce baked confectionery and bread, entitled "There are still many, special gem." I'm looking forward to it.

nomenn04.JPG

When I asked the person himself, he originally liked paintings and sculptures, but since he started, his own study, sincerity, and passion for face-to-face were overflowing from the displayed side It seemed to be

Turn into a shiny white motorcycle member!

[Koedo Itabashi] May 23, 2017 09:00

Helmets, uniforms and rider boots of traffic riot police.

All of them shine brightly.

If you change your clothes and straddle a white motorcycle, you will feel a good child member.

I feel like I'm almost hanging on the handle.

With the sound of the engine, with the sound of the bullring.

I'll be dispatched urgently.

Both dads and moms repeat the series on their smartphones, saying, "Our child's best."

There are other uniforms for women and police officers.

It is fully equipped with changing clothes, so you can transform comfortably.

On April 29 this year, the Polys Museum (Police Museum) was reopened.

The location is 3-5-1 Kyobashi.

Facing Chuo-dori, opposite Tokyo Square Garden. In front of the highway.

On the exterior of the building, the word POLICE MUSEUM and the Asahi Sunsho, the symbol of the police, appear.

I was interested in how the contents of the exhibition changed.

The exhibition floor from the first floor to the fifth floor has become very bright.

On the first floor, police vehicles that were actually used are displayed.

There was also a children's uniform try-on corner on this floor, and it was named "Pipo-kun Hall".

There is a diorama of the city on the second floor, where you can experience crime prevention.

You can participate like a game and get hooked.

If you go around the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors, you can learn from the history of police to activities that look forward to the future.

In the fingerprint collection section, you can experience the work of a criminal drama inspector.

The appearance of working carefully using equipment is like a chemical experiment.

In the police walk corner on the 5th floor, materials related to Toshiyoshi Kawaji, who built a modern police system and called the "Father of the Japanese Police", were displayed.

It is only known through novels by Ryotaro Shiba and Futaro Yamada, but various materials convey the breath of the early Meiji era.

By the way, I thought Pepo-kun was just a loose character, but I have a job properly.

On the 5th floor, there is a "Music BOX", a collection of songs related to the Metropolitan Police Department, and I heard "Pipo-kun's song" with headphones.

"Pepo, Pepo, Pepo, Pepo--kun, police officer,"

? ?! I'm afraid.
