The goby in the morning tide canal! Thinking about biodiversity

[Silver] October 28, 2010 12:30

On October 23, we saw the following information and applied for and participated in the survey. .

"Information from the Asashio Canal Renaissance Council!: fune:: fune:

The Asashio Canal is an area where one of the few shallow areas left behind in the inner part of Tokyo Bay: -o.
The shallow area is an important place for the growth of living things, and is especially important place for the sanctuary of goby fry and undeveloped fish that represent Edomae. We conduct a goby fishing survey so that everyone can reaffirm the importance of the Asashio Canal: -D: fune:. 」

It was an event that everyone thought seriously so that the redevelopment would not destroy the growth environment of the goby.

By the way, on the day, in addition to the officers of the council, Mayor Mihide Yada also appeared and gave a greeting.

Tokyo Port and Harbor Bureau, Chuo-ku Civil Engineering Department, Tokyo Fisheries Promotion Association, National Environment Promotion Association, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's National Institute of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Ocean Research, Tokyo Island Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Research Center, and NPO Seaside Building Study Group participated in the event with care. In water quality tests, salt content is 2.7%, water temperature is 21. C, DO (dissolved oxygen) is 2.6 in the surface layer and 1.5 in the lower layer.

In other words, it seems that there is little oxygen. (By the way, you need 4 oxygen to cultivate red sea bream.)

The goby cannot live without this mud left. Yes, in an environment like a plastic aquarium, ordinary creatures cannot live. If you're too clean, fish can't live.

 The white heron was flying.

That's also living in harmony with the fish living here and in the food chain.

[Shitamachi Tom] October 14, 2010 09:00

Sports Day _R.JPG

October 11, "Sports Day". Today is Chuo-ku "Citizens' Sports Day".

Various sporting events were held around the Tsukishima Playground in Harumi.

Marathon (1)_R.JPG

Above all, there were many participants and supporters, and the marathon event was exciting.run

Several events were set, such as 10km, 5km, elementary school students, and families, and many runners ran fast under a pleasant blue sky.

It was a day when you could see another real face of the central inhabitants.

Marathon (2)_R.JPG

I took the plunge to participate in the 10km marathon. It was my first experience, but I sweated with many people and remembered it.key

I can't afford to run while running, but still, the scenery of the towns of Tsukishima and Harumi jumps into my eyes one after another, and the familiarity spreads.

There are times when you notice the charm of the town in various scenes. It was a good experience.scissors

◎Correspondents visit the shopping street (10th) ◎ There are plenty of events all year round / Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping Street Promotion Association

[The cat on the slope] October 8, 2010 16:45

The center of commerce Chuo-ku There are many lively shopping streets in Japan.

Correspondents visit, see, and hear the shopping streets that are loved by the locals, prospered with the residents, and familiar to them. It conveys the lively charm and vitality, special information, etc. Chuo-ku This is the 10th "correspondent's Shopping Street Visit" that introduces the shopping associations and shopping streets.

*******************************************************

◎Correspondent Visit to Shopping Street (10th)◎

There are plenty of events all year round /Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping Street Promotion Association

Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street, commonly known as Monja Street, is crowded with many people whenever you visit.

We talked to Shotaro Kobayashi, President of the Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping Street Promotion Association, who supports the behind the scenes, and Kosaku Murata, Vice President. Mr. Murata is also the president of the Tsukishima Monja Promotion Association Cooperative.

PA060092.JPG  PA060093.JPG

Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street. The roofed arcade makes it easy to walk, and the road is clean so shopping is fun.

Mr. Kobayashi (the owner of the interior shop on the left) and Mr. Murata (the owner of Monjaya).

Q: First of all, please tell us about the history and structure of the shopping street.

A: Around 1950 (1950), open-air and stalls began to line up. At that time, food and daily necessities such as fresh fish were mainly sold, and were used by local residents and people working in surrounding factories.

The number and types of stores gradually increased, and the association was founded in 1963. While growing as a shopping street, when Tsukishima Station on the Subway Yurakucho Line was opened in 1988 (1988), customers came not only from the local area but also from various places. Just the same year, the roof of the shopping street arcade was renovated into a neat design and stubborn one, allowing you to enjoy shopping without worrying about rain, wind and sunshine.

Also, since that time, there have been an increase in requests from customers to "I want to eat Monja when I go to Tsukishima", and shops where I can eat Monja were born one after another.

Q: Please tell me the scale and structure of the shopping street.

A: There are currently 128 stores lined up between about 500 meters along Nishinaka-dori, which extends straight. From the north, it is named 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and "11 (Toichi) Association (1st), Futamorikai (2nd)", "20th (3rd) "and" Showakai (4th Street) "support their activities. Nearly half of all stores are Monja stores.

Q: What kind of customers do you have?

A: 70% are women. On weekends, there are still many families, and you can often see them surrounding the monja iron plate in three generations.

It is popular among students on school excursions during the daytime on weekdays, 90% of which are junior high school students. From Aomori to Kyushu, about 30,000 students come annually from all over the country. The Tsukishima Nishinaka-dori shopping street is safe, straight and easy to understand, making it perfect for students to walk around freely. The teachers are also safe.

On the other hand, on weekday nights, everyone who works in Ginza, Marunouchi, Odaiba, etc. takes a detour after work and heals fatigue while filling the stomach. If you come to Tsukishima, you will be relieved of the tension in the office district, and you can enjoy it with a much less budget than the downtown area, so it has become particularly popular recently.

Q: Do you have any services in the shopping district?

A: We hold a surprise sale on the 27th of every month, the fair of Tsukishima Kannon. You can buy popular products from each store at a reasonable price. Also, if you make a happy card, you will earn points every time you shop regularly, so you will enjoy it.

Q: Please tell me the event information.

A: We are planning a variety of events throughout the year. bean-throwing ceremony in February, Flower Festival in April, Cherry Festival in June (Co-sponsored with Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, Cherry Seeds Skipping Tournament!) Tsukishima Kusa City in July, Midori City in October, Toshi City in December, etc. By the way, as the Tsukishima Monja Promotion Association Cooperative, we hold a thank you fair in spring and autumn. At the thank you fair, lottery where you can win overseas travel tickets etc. is popular. You can draw lots until 10 p.m., so please join us.

Now, let's introduce some of the best event information we obtained in this interview.

<Yoridori Midori City>

October 11 (Monday, noon to 5:00 pm). It's a system where you buy tickets in advance, so children can enjoy it.

PA070104.JPG<60th Anniversary of Tsukishima Kannon>

October 17 (Sun). Tsukishima Kannon in the shopping street seems to be a statue of Zenkoji Temple. This year, there is a commemorative event for the 60th anniversary, and a child procession is scheduled.

<Monja Festival>

November 14 (Sun). The parade will be held twice at 12:30 and 14:30 to coincide with the song of Monja. What kind of dance will each ream perform for the victory? The autumn pre-festival will be held on November 14th. The main festival will be held on March 20 and 21 next year, so please begging here too.

PA080092.JPG

What the dancers have in hand is a monja no peel!

In addition, Nishinaka-dori Shopping Street is also popular as a running tournament and bicycle tour path to the coming season, and it seems that everyone in the shopping street prepares barley tea etc. to support participants .

Q: Finally, please give me a word.

A: The Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping District Promotion Association is engaged in various activities to revitalize the shopping district and the area. The severe situation surrounding the shopping district is reported daily in the news, etc., but at Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street, we plan various events throughout the year, welcome customers from all over the country, including school excursion students, shopping and eating and drinking I enjoy it. Monja has become quite famous, but from now on, I would like to send it to the world as "I want to fly to the world."

Since I live in Tsukuda next to Tsukishima, I often go to Nishinakadori Shopping Street, but I have the best conditions for enjoying shopping while walking slowly, such as a size of about 500 meters. Perfect for guiding family and friends who come to play. Enjoy your time with peace of mind from children to the elderly. In addition to Monja, there are various shops such as general stores, food stores, liquor stores, florists, etc., and all daily necessities are available here! You can go casually, visit according to the event, or feel free to come many times.

Last but not least, Mr. Kobayashi, Mr. Murata, thank you very much for your busy schedule.

From Chuo-ohashi Bridge, Sky Tree Winter Bird Water Bus Boat, etc.

[Yurikamome] October 8, 2010 08:30

The Sky Tree is 478 meters and has a presence even when viewed from Chuo-ku, and thanks to the Sumida River, it is from Chuo-ohashi Bridge that you can see it firmly without being disturbed by the building.

I took a picture with a sky tree in the middle of Eitai Bridge.

2010_1006 Building and Sky Tree 4.JPG

On the way back ...

A lot of winter birds were playing when viewed from the top of Chuo-ohashi Bridge.

I guess it's an early group that came to Japan soon ...

The surface of the water, which looked thin and pink, was a little sunset.

2010_1006 Yurikamome 2.JPG

I found a water bus around Paris Square.

It looks like the last guest of this day was dropped from the water bus and the way home after completing the mission.

 2010_1006 Water bus Hydrangea. JPG

A tugboat passed through the same place.

I was pulling the barge, but at the same time I couldn't show it.

This tugboat is very useful when a large ship arrives at Harumi Wharf, pushing the ship sideways and backwards to reach the quay.

I think that the area is surrounded by rubber so that you can hit wherever you hit.

Treasure hunting event "Chuo-ku large investigation line-chase the legend of Oedo treasure! ~」

[O umbrella] October 5, 2010 14:30

One of the events of the "58th Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival" (October 1-November 5, 2010), hands-on treasure hunting event "Chuo-ku Great Investigation Line-chase the legend of Oedo Treasures! ~ (until 11/5).

After seeing the opening ceremony of the Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival (10/1, from 11:00 to 11:30, main venue: Ginza Mitsukoshi 9th floor "Ginza Terrace"), the weather seems to be interesting, so we challenged a treasure hunting event Did.

It took half a day, but without taking care of the hint store, I found 8 treasure chests (wooden: vertical 10cm x 7.5cm, height 8cm) and collected 8 keywords inside I was able to do it.

IMG_6308tcomp.JPGThe treasure hunt identifies eight places by looking at a picture (in the pamphlet) that serves as a clue to the place where the treasure chest is located, but the place with the treasure chest is scattered widely in Chuo-ku, Edo Bus It was a very good walking and gymnastics with the mind while being troublesome (
10/1 was free).

If you want to challenge this treasure hunt, first get a pamphlet containing "how to participate", "cues", "keyword entry column", etc. at public facilities and antenna shops in Chuo-ku.

In addition, the pamphlet also contains a list of "Discovery Reporting Offices" (9 locations) and "Hint Offering Shops" (40 locations) and a "map" showing those locations.

If you look closely at the clues in this pamphlet, you will find out where the treasure chest is located.

IMG_6309tcomp.JPGAnd there is also an image of what order to turn around.

IMG_6310tcomp.JPGBut even if you don't know everything, it's best to go to the place you know first. I understand the feeling.

IMG_6241tcomp.JPG

The photo shows a treasure chest (open state) at the base of the bridge. It's small.

On the way, I often met a group of two or three elementary school students who were challenging.

IMG_6257tcomp.JPG

This photo shows a group of elementary school students who came to the treasure chest with the help of their mother.

There is a treasure chest for a squatting child!

IMG_6264tcomp.JPG

This photo captures the keyword of the treasure chest at the base of the pole.

Mothers who exchange information at the following points, and elementary school students who look at clues and maps to consider the following.

If you find more than four treasure chests, write a keyword in the keyword entry field, go to the discovery report office, press a confirmation stamp, and get the "Discoverer Award". If you find all eight, you can also get the right to win luxurious prizes by lottery as a "perfect prize". (The "Discoverer Award" is limited to the first 3,000 people.)

IMG_6282tcomp.JPGFill in the keyword, fill in the same address and name and questionnaire, cut off the page from the pamphlet, put it in the application box of the discovery report office to complete the treasure hunting game.

The photo on the left shows the application box and pamphlet

I think some people have already been cleared, but if you haven't yet, by all means (return to childhood?) Please try the treasure hunting event. Adults can enjoy quite a bit!

I wish you success. (O umbrella (Oh))

If it is absolutely difficult to understand the location of the treasure chest just by looking at the clues of the pamphlet, "O umbrella" will give a little comment below about the picture of the "guide" on the pamphlet (I hope you will not understand it ...)

Keywords of Treasure 1: The opening ceremony near the main venue!

Keywords of Treasure 2: There is a line written, but it's a road.

Keywords of Treasure 3: There are three bridges with similar names, but pay attention to the stone wall in the figure!

Keywords of Treasure 4: The statue of a bear is located in front of the yagura.

Keywords of Treasure 5: The pink track goes to Taito-ku. The grass-colored track goes to Chiyoda-ku.

Keywords of Treasure 6: The master of the sword is famous for his Sukedachi in Takadanobaba.

Keywords of Treasure 7: Think of the town from the first line.

Keywords of Treasure 8: In the Meiji era, there was a ferry boat from Tsukiji to Tsukishima Reclaimed Land. It's not on the terrace along the river.

GOOD LUCK !!
