Follow the 497m sky tree

[North Yujin] Nov. 4, 2010 11:45

Let's check the Sky Tree that we followed before along the Sumida River again.

Trees are reported that the tower body made by assembling steel frames has reached the top.

When the second observation deck is completed, the silhouette will change a little further.

First of all, from your favorite shots from Miyuki-dori, the street between Higashi Nihonbashi 1-chome and 2-chome.

SUMIDAGAWAst 001.JPG

This is kanji, but if you pass through Ginza, it's Hiragana Miyuki Street.

Let's walk along the Sumida River from the northern end of Chuo-ku.

Then from the south side,

SUMIDAGAWAst 005.JPG

Let's go down to the Sumida River Terrace and head downstream.

The camera was playing, blocked by a building on the opposite bank to Shinohashi.

Next, from the center of the bridge of Kiyosu Bridge.

SUMIDAGAWAst 018.JPG

You can see the sightseeing boat Ryoma and the fire boat from Asakusa.

Next, from the center of the bridge on the Sumida River Ohashi Bridge.

SUMIDAGAWAst 024.JPG

You can see the tree over Kiyosu Bridge.

Next is from the top of the Eitai Bridge.

SUMIDAGAWAst 053.JPG

You can see the Kiyosu Bridge slightly.

This time, I went to Chuo-ohashi Bridge.

The tree over the Eitai Bridge is also quite scaled.

The weather was nice, so it was a little hike to St. Luke's Tower.

"Chuo FM" Live IN "Navel Exhibition"

[Satsuki Yanagi] Nov. 4, 2010 11:15

At the "Navel Exhibition" held in Harumi Triton, "Chuo FM" on Monday, November 1 [I love it! A live broadcast of Chuo-ku was held at a special studio in the venue.

The venue around noon is full of ordinary customers, people working near Harumi, and elementary school students visiting social studies.

P1030346.jpg

It's very fun just to look at each booth, such as introducing the main industries of Chuo-ku and selling specialty products, and it's a valuable opportunity to see the stories of the companies and shops!

"Chuo FM" will be broadcast live from here during the "Navel Exhibition" period.

The one who appeared on this day was ... P1030356.jpg

"Atsushi Kotobuki" and I am "Satsuki Yanagi".

This year's theme of the "Navel Exhibition": We had a talk related to "Manufacturing and Environment".

Earlier, I wrote about the article (the following three cases) that I wrote on the theme of [ECO], and I myself did not tell my grandmother or mother by mouth, but in everyday life. He talked about ECO (valuing things, recycling, etc.) that Japanese have been coming for a long time.

Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store "eco Christmas"

ECO Chuo-dori

SAKURA also ECO

The booth of "Chuo FM" is also covered by green power.

By the way, there are items and foods sold in this venue unique to the "navel exhibition", and unlike purchasing at shops, things that can be exempted from consumption tax, prices are extremely affordable There were lots of things! !

Finally, I would like to introduce what I wanted to challenge the most.

・・・ I'll refuse, it's not a park attraction!

A special car was prepared outside the venue, and a businessman & OL at lunch was trying.

I was experiencing the shaking of seismic intensity 7, but when I was pointed at the camera, I was doing a piece with a smile! ! !

Participating companies, long-established companies, people who visited the venue, ↓↓↓↓↓↓ Such wonderful people ...

After all, I love it! Chuo-ku, right?

Harumi Triton <Autumn Flower News>

[Sam] Nov. 4, 2010 11:15

RIMG0764S.JPG

"A town surrounded by waterside space and flowers and greenery" Harumi Triton Square.

The shopping zone recreates the cityscape of Southern Europe. About 60 shops and restaurants are lined up like a detached house. In the center of the second floor, there is a patio "Mythical Square". There is a large ceiling painting with Greek mythology motif, and the floor is mosaic tiles with "Triton of the Sea".

The "Flower Terrace", which changes from season to season, the "Green Terrace" with beautiful Kiki, and the "Water Terrace" directed by waterfalls and fountains also have variations in the color and way of stacking of bricks, making it a comfortable space where you can relax and comfort visitors.

This time, I would like to introduce "Autumn Flower News" of "Flower Terrace".

2010 Harumi Infiorata <Light Up>

[Sam] Nov. 2, 2010 08:44

RIMG0954S.JPG"Infiorata" is an Italian word "flower carpet". It is said that Infiorata in Jenzano, a suburb of Rome, which is held every June, has a history of more than 200 years. It is said that it originated in Italy around the 13th century, when it was customary to line up on Christ's sanctuary holidays and spread flowers on the road.

Harumi Triton Square, which has a terrace on the theme of "flowers, greenery and water" along the canal, has been holding the "Harumi Infiorata" since the opening year as an event to coexist with nature and communicate with the local community.

Arranged in a triton style, such as using rose petals while retaining the artistry and technology of the authentic Jenzano city (listen to use carnation petals and seeds at the festival of Jenzano city), and created a flower picture with a theme every year Created. The roses used are thinned flowers to grow large roses produced for overseas export in India, the country of origin, and the leaves of Tateyama cedar, which decorate the frame of the flower painting, are thinned wood.

This year is the 10th anniversary. The theme of the work is "Thanksgiving Day in the Sky".

Scheduled to be held from October 30 to November 3, the period and scale will be reduced from November 1 to 3 due to the stormy weather last weekend (50,000 rose petals, half of the average year) . It is lit up at night from November 1st to 2nd.
