It's a good hot spring in Kachidoki.

[Silver] September 26, 2011 09:34

I came to "Kachidokiyu" in the Sumitomo Realty & Development building at Kachidoki 3-9-7 for a fun public bath tour. At the entrance of a large building, it is written as "Kachidoki-yu". There are stairs and elevators that go downstairs immediately after entering the entrance. It is a user-friendly design.

The public bath is located in a 10-year-old building and is very clean with polished tiles and walls.

According to a story I asked the landlady, I was operating under the name of "Fujinoyu" at Minato 3-chome, moved to Kachidoki about 20 years ago, and at the corner of Kachidoki 3-chome at that time After the public bath called "Imperial Yu", he started again under the name of "Kachidoki Yu", but he seems to have been relocated to the present due to the development plan.

When you come to Kachidoki, please visit Toyo-in and stop by Kachidoki-yu without saying "Yes goodbye" like Tokasha 19.

Morning in Kachidoki (Light, Sea and Ship)

[Yurikamome] September 21, 2011 08:30

In the clear early morning of autumn, sunlight illuminates the scenery from the side.

The western ridgeline of the chimney (cross-section triangle ▲) at Harumi Incineration Plant is shaded by the sun.

It was shining brightly as shown in the picture.

Compare the sides of the surrounding buildings. It's strange. Why is it?

2011_0918 Harumi Incineration Plant Chimney 003.JPG, which reflects the morning sun twice and shines.

I looked around and looked for him.

Considering the direction of the sun, a super high-rise apartment is located about 350 meters north-northwest of the chimney.

The light reflected on the southeast glass wall hit the ridgeline behind the chimney.

It's considered to be something. It takes a limited number of minutes to take this picture because the sun moves.

It is a skit of continuous reflection of light 150 to 200 meters above the ground.

In the same way, the glass windows of buildings that stand in various angles from the southwest to the northwest of Chuo-ku and Minato-ku.

This is also wonderful because the morning sunlight is reflected from here and there one after another.

For example, the MORI Tower at Green Hills in Atago, about 2600 meters west-northwest strongly reflects the morning sun.

I did it. It is a dazzling, shining building in the center on the other side of the Hamarikyu Garden in the photo below. The light is in the garden

It was reflected on the sea surface in the foreground.

2011_0918 Atago G Hills MORI Tower 004.JPG reflecting the morning sun

This time, we could see a straight line reflected light on the opposite bank in the southwest direction. Park Shibaura Building.

If the wall of the building is flat, the entire surface will glow, but it shines straight like this wall is like a tea tube.

It's because it's a cylindrical plane.

That's good, the strange thing is that the light reflected on the sea surface is not a straight line.

Of course, the sea surface is a horizontal plane. Even if there are small waves, the reflected light will be blurred.

And please take a look. The shape reflected on the sea surface is "reverse hatena mark".

But what is not always this mark ...? ・What's it?

2011_0918 The reflection of the morning sun is reverse hatena mark 001.JPG (It is considered to be a subtle, slight mad of glass windows, and mischief such as ripples.)

The southwestern quay of Harumi Wharf is for government ships.

In the daytime, the sun from the south illuminates the other side of the ship, and this side is shaded.

However, as early as in the morning, sunlight illuminates this side of the ship, so it looks beautiful.

By the way, on the left is the Fisheries Agency's fishery research vessel "Teryo Maru" (2,214 tons, 87,6 m, completed in May 1998).

On the right is the large training boat "Seiun Maru" (5,890 tons, 116m, completed in September 1997) at the Voyage Training Center.

If you look at it, you have a dream!   In the foreground is the fire boat of the seaside fire department.

This is the building of the total glass of the passenger ship terminal at Harumi Wharf. I'm shining in the morning sun.

We welcome those who go on a boat trip or from overseas who have visited Tokyo.

Various Ceremonies and meetings will also be held.

When you pass through the Rainbow Bridge, you can see this and feel, "Oh, I'm back to Tokyo."

"Three Colors" red spider lily <Tsukuda Park>

[Sam] September 21, 2011 08:30

R0014865S.JPG R0014860RSG.JPG Today is "the entrance of the equinoctial week."

As there is a saying saying, "The heat and cold to the equinoctial week," the event of the Higankai Buddhist memorial service, which celebrates the blessings of nature and honors its ancestors, has been established since ancient times.

The flower that symbolizes this season is "red spider lily". (Many of them have triple chromosomes.) Flowers bloom but don't actually tie. It is said that the bulbs are divided and nutritious, so it blooms all at once in autumn on the equinoctial week.

It is also unique that the flower season and the leaf season are different.

In satoyama, it shines well in the yellow of rice ears, blue of the sky, white of clouds, and green of vegetation, and bright red flowers have a presence in the city.

Here at Tsukuda Park, in addition to the red red spider lily / Manjushage (Cluster Amaryllis), the yellow shoki sensen (Shoki daffodil) and the light pink and white shirabana manjushage (Shirohana Cluster Amaryllis) (which is said to be a hybrid of red spider lily and Shokissen).

New Peace Monument and Tsukishima Daini Children's Park in Chuo Ward

[Yurikamome] September 20, 2011 08:30

The Kachidoki View Tower stands at the intersection of Harumi-dori St. and Kiyosumi-dori.

Tsukishima Daini Children's Park was opened on the south side.

A new peace monument has been set up in the Peace Plaza facing the sidewalk of Kiyosumi Street.

Based on the purpose of the Heiwa, Chuo-ku City Declaration (March 15, 1988), a new peace monument was set up at the "Peace Plaza" in Tsukishima Daini Park to deepen understanding of peace.

This is a mosaic plate in which children from 16 Chuo Ward elementary schools (all) draw original drawings and go to the welfare center cooperated in the production.

Each is a masterpiece of peace.

I took photos one by one, but I would like to see the chance and upload it.

2011_0918 Tsukishima No. 2 Children's Park Monument and Road 0052.JPG This newly opened children's park had some shiny playground equipment.

Because it was a holiday, most of them were accompanied by "Ikumen" dad.

My husband, who was looking at the candidate's page for the election of a ward council member the other day, said, "What is Ikumen? ? ? ・・・・」

When I asked me ... I was stunned and answered, "It's a word that you don't have to know ...."

And the times changed, and I learned the sadness of becoming a fossil human.

 It's my favorite playground equipment.

"If you climb a small mountain with colored balls embedded in a ladder, what's there over? ・・・・」

If I were in childhood, I would have thought about this.

The children of Chuo-ku who have such a playground are happy.

A fruitful autumn front

[Sam] September 2, 2011 08:30

R0014760S.JPG From today to September. Although the sunlight during the day is still strong, the wind felt on the skin began to feel refreshed every day.

Autumn is a fruitful season.

Along with the leaves of the trees that are brightly colored in red and yellow, it is a beautiful season for nuts.

Here at Harumi Triton Square's "Green Terrace" and "Flower Terrace", you can see that the blue fruits that have not yet been colored are growing little by little while waiting for time to come.

At the turn of the season.

Please enjoy the breath of nature in the foreground of fruitful autumn.
