The flowering time of Kawazu cherry blossoms is affected by the weather of the year, and it is said that it is difficult to predict.

In Izu and Kawazu-cho, it usually blooms from late January to early February, and it is said that the best time to see it is from late February to early March, but this year the flowering is delayed by more than a week due to the cold wave, and as of today, The log blooms for 4-5 minutes, and the cherry blossoms along the Kawazu River bloom for 2-3 minutes, and the best time to see is in early March.

Kawazu Sakura is a hybrid of cold scarlet cherry blossoms and early blooming Oshima cherry blossoms. It is dark red when the buds are buds and light red after flowering.
