"Nipponmaru" at Harumi Wharf

[kimitaku] Nov. 30, 2013 14:00

We walked around Harumi Wharf during lunchtime when we were surrounded by the autumn weather.

Today, a large cruise ship "Nipponmaru" was landing.

Earlier, I introduced the sailing ship Nippon Maru.

Today, I would like to introduce the cruise ship "Nipponmaru".

At the entrance of the pier terminal, the date and time of arrival and departure are indicated.

There is Ho Chi Minh, the front port of Oarai next port.

The rescue boat is orange and beautiful. From the rooftop of the terminal, I looked at the huge chimney while looking at Odaiba.

The guard ship in the foreground looks like a bean grain.
Some customers leave the ship for a short time.

The next two days far away from Vietnam, "Nipponmaru" left the pier.

Junction of Sumida River

[Tachibana] Nov. 12, 2013 15:00

On November 9th, I went to the town walking tour "The junction of the Sumida River on the tide".

It was a chilly day for November, but while listening to the explanation of members of the Chuo-ku Cultural Property Supporters Association, I walked around Tsukuda Island for an hour and a half-walking less than 6,000 steps.

The first thing I went to was Tsukuda Tendai guardian of children and travelers. In the middle of the narrow streets between ordinary private houses and private houses, there was guardian of children and travelers on a small site where only one person could enter. If there are no signs or banners in Yokocho, you will pass by at all. There is a fine ginkgo on the premises, but it is surprising that it is surrounded by the house.

Pass through Tsukuda Namishi Inari Shrine, cross Tsukuda Kobashi, where one of the treasure chests of "Chuo-ku Treasure Hunting" was located, and crossed the square where "Tsukuda Island Bon Odori" venue, "Tsukuda Festival Ryutora / Kurokoma" arrived at the building where two large lion heads are displayed. It is a large lion head famous for being said to be auspicious when you touch the nose of this large lion head first at the Tsukuda Festival.

After looking at the octagonal portable shrine through the glass at Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, I went to the ruins of Ishikawajima Lighthouse.

From here, you can stroll along the terrace along the Sumida River. Mitsui Tower in Nihonbashi could be seen directly above the Kamejima Suimon on the opposite bank of the Sumida River. From here, it's a straight line to Nihonbashi.

Also, it did not pass today, but it was said that Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge has a place where Tokyo Tower and Sky Tree can be seen on the right and left.

After that, we went to the junction of the Sumida River, went along the Harumi Canal via Paris Square, and went to the site of the Kaisuikan, and broke up.

It seems that 15 people were scheduled to participate in the lottery today, but 6 people were canceled due to the cold weather. Certainly, it may have been about half a month to walk around here, but I was able to take a leisurely stroll while watching the Sumida River. Why don't you choose a sunny day and walk?

WINTER ILLUMINATION 2013 <Harumi Triton>

[Sam] Nov. 11, 2013 09:00

R0021562LS.JPGR0021574RSG.JPG This year, at Harumi Triton Square, "Winter Illumination" has started lighting in conjunction with the "Harumi Flower Festival 2013".

The lighting period is from November 2 to February 14.

Just like last year, fantastic LED illuminations based on blue, centered on the "water terrace", with the image of the ocean blue ocean and dolphins as motifs.

Three dolphins emerge above the front pool and two dolphins emerge in the side pool, and the surrounding trees are sparkling in blue and white light.

It's also fun to look at the dolphins object at different angles.

On the other hand, the trees on the "Sakura promenade" from Harutsuki Bridge to Reimei Bridge are decorated with gold and white illuminations and shine against the skyscrapers.

Harumi Flower Festival 2013 Infiorata in Triton

[Silver] Nov. 9, 2013 09:00

"Harumi Flower Festival 2013 Infiorata in Triton" was held from November 2 to 6.
In the morning of the first day, as usual, it is a patient work to pick up rose flowers in the building, design it on a pavement section using it as a material, and paste it one by one.
Regardless of the work in the rain, the participants worked hard to complete the work.
