Walking in Chuo-ku (Harumi West District 1)

[kimitaku] July 31, 2014 17:00

The first time is information on the west side of Harumi-dori St. in Harumi district.

Transportation is Kachidoki Station on the Oedo Line.

By bus, get off at "Kachidoki Station", head toward Harumi, and follow the west side of Reimei Bridge toward Harumi.

When you cross the Reimei Bridge, you will see the morning tide canal boat landing on the right.

There are many boats coming and going in the afternoon, and at night the lights of ships such as Japanese lantern are exceptional.

Customers wearing yukata on both the houseboat and the cool-down boat are also on board.

Cross the bridge, on the right is the newly renovated Reimeibashi Park.

Instead of a fountain, a fog fountain ...? It will heal the visitors who come. I feel good in summer.

Go out of the park and go along the right river. When you go down Asashio Water Park, you'll get a sea sign.

Looking at the numbers.

The bottom of the river is quite deep.

In front of Tokyo Towers, Ring Route 2 toward Shimbashi is under construction.

Head to Harumi Wharf and go through the overpass Route 2. Around this time, the appearance has changed rapidly over time, such as the construction of a high-rise building related to the Ring Route 2.

P1000892-1.jpgLet's go through Plaza Harumi and look at Tokyo Bay. This is a spot where you can see Mount Fuji while walking.

Early in the morning, when the atmosphere is stable, the male figure is.

However, this "Mot Mount Fuji" may be full of this year.

A high-rise building is under construction in the direction of Shibaura. "Mount Fuji" will soon be over the building. I'm sorry.

At the end of the harbor fire department is a spot.

Next time, from Harumi Wharf.

New Bridge on the Sumida River

[Ryokichi] July 13, 2014 15:00

A new bridge was built on the Sumida River and in Chuo-ku. It looks like this when viewed from a nearby building.

IMG_5782.jpg

This bridge is a part of the Route 2, tentatively named "Sumida River Bridge", and is the bridge that was built downstream of Kachidokibashi, that is, the most downstream of the Sumida River. The construction of the bridge itself was carried out on May 8, and a method was taken to carry the bridge by a ship with a large crane. The road is scheduled to extend the recently opened "MacArthur Road" Sotobori-dori St., and extend the road connecting Toranomon to Shimbashi, connecting Toyosu and the city center. You.

The location will be closely related to the Olympic venue and the planned site of the athlete village, and it is expected that he will be active in the Olympics.

For me who like walking, I want to walk quickly along the pedestrian passages on the left and right. Since it is actually opened in March 2016, it will be a while ago. I can't wait.

Enjoy the refreshing scent <Harumi Triton Garden>

[Sam] July 8, 2014 14:00

R0029101RSG.JPGR0029116LS.JPG July 7th was a little summer.

The Harumi Triton Square Garden, which consists of three terraces with the theme of flowers, greenery and water and two green spaces, North/South Triton Park, is a place for walks, rests, and relaxation for local residents and workers.

This season is colored with Tanabata decorations.

It is time when the heat is in full swing, but rooftop greening, shade of trees, and the babbling of water relieves the heat and gives moisture and peace to the heart.

The hop jet (polka dot fountain) of the "Water Terrace" where 28 polka dots jump out from the floor shows five rhythm exercises: "Kaiteten", "Issei Uchiage", "Oikakekko", "Midareuchi" "Nami". Show me and produce coolness. I hear that it also has the effect of generating negative air ion and lowering the surrounding temperature.

It is written that "more than 600 species of plants that show different expressions depending on the season are planted in the garden", but "see, touch, listen, and learn about the fun and how to enjoy the plants" and "Mini Garden Guide Tour" is also held.

This time, the theme of the "Mini Garden Guide Tour" held on July 3 <Flowers with attractive herbs and fragrances> I picked up "herb" along with it.

Herb is derived from Herba (herb) which means grass in Latin.

General term for medicinal herbs and herbs.

Wraps various scenes of daily life with a refreshing scent.

The upper right image is "Apple Mint" (also known as Marbahakka). White spike-shaped flower. When the leaves are rubbed, sweet fragrance like apples. It has a strong reproductive power, underground stem grows well, and the stock grows. )
