DSC02141LS.jpg On June 5, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced that "the Kanto Koshin region is expected to have entered the rainy season," and the rainy season has finally arrived.

The rainy season started three days earlier than normal and two days later than last year.

Due to the damp airflow from the front and south, the days continue to be overcast.

Harumi Triton Square 2F Pocket Plaza "Flowers, Water and Trees" is a monthly mini-garden guided tour to stroll through the park with the guidance of a green adviser.

This month was held on June 9, during the rainy season. (14:30~15:20)

This time, in addition to "Flower Terrace", "North Triton Park" and "South Triton Park" tour courses.

During this period, various hydrangeas such as "Endless Summer", white and pink "Anabelle", "evergreen hydrangea blue eyes", "Amacha", "Smidanohanabi", etc. are shining throughout the park.

The slope garden along the Asashio Canal features new faces such as chikori, mallow, pyrethrum, and chocolate vine bananas.

And rare double beconia mixed in a single layer, petunia and perilla with various flower colors.

At "South Triton Park", unique thorns are blooming.

During the rainy season, depressed days continue, but in addition to the babbling of water and the shade of greenery, the gorgeous colors will soften the mood.

Petunia "Sangunate Blue Beine", "Mirage Yellow", "Easy Wave", "Curpet Rose Star", "Pilet".

Do you know Nishinaka-dori? @ Tsukishima & Kachidoki

[Nanako Tsukishima] June 7, 2016 09:00

Do you know the name of the road you walk every day?

In Chuo-ku, several roads are nicknamed.

According to the ward's website, the roads that play an important role as the living space of the inhabitants are nicknamed, making them easy to understand, and 98 routes are currently set up.

There are a total of 10 routes in the Tsukishima area, the town of Nanako, including the Triton Bridge and the Sakura Pedestrian Road.

This time, I walked from Nishinaka-dori, famous for Monjayaki, from the starting point (Tsukishima 1-chome 9) to the end point (Kachidoki 5-chome 11).

Nishinaka-dori begins when you leave Tsukishima Station on the Yurakucho Line. The red signboard of "Tsukishima Nishinaka-dori Ichibangai" is vivid in my eyes. As you go to the second or third Avenue, you will see more signs for Monjayaki shops. Recently, I have seen students on school excursions during the day. Now Monja Street is a theme park. After passing the popular bar where you can line up, "Nishinakadori Shopping Street" ends at the exit of 4th Avenue, but only one-third of "Nishinaka-dori" is over.

From here, there are buildings on both sides, and cross the Tsukishima River at Nishinakabashi and you will reach Harumi-dori St. Cross the police box at Harumi Intersection, proceed between the View Tower and Tsukishima Daini Elementary School, and hit at the Sophia Tower. On the map, "Nishinaka-dori" still continues beyond Shinzuki Shimakawa.

Once on Kiyosumi-dori, pass under the Kachidoki Overpass under construction, return to Nishinaka-dori, proceed between warehouses and condominiums, and end at the end.

The nickname of the road in Chuo-ku triggered me to learn that Nishinaka-dori Shopping Street is just a part of the street.

Roads are the same as the way of living for the residents, and have various faces and tastes.

It is also recommended to walk along 98 routes while looking at the road nickname map in Chuo-ku and enjoy new discoveries.

grey heron also had lunch time together

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] June 6, 2016 18:00

When I looked up at Chuo-ohashi Bridge from Ishikawajima Park Paris Square, a clear blue sky was spreading.

On such a day, let's have lunch time together.

Oh! Mr. black-tailed gull is a big fish get.

Do you pass through your throat? Are you okay?

 Oh! Mr. grey heron.

Usually Mr. grey heron, in this neighborhood

You can see it in the Hamarikyu Gardens, Hibiya Park and Kiyosumi Gardens.

Today we are having dinner with Mr. little egret, a regular member of the Sumida River Terrace.

During this period, young goby fish come to the mouth of the Sumida River in a group.

The sagis have a strong appetite for it.

A big gathering at low tide time of Sumida River with one grey heron and seven little egret.

Why don't you have a blue sky lunch with birds on the Sumida River Terrace?

If a foreigner asks you the way, you'll be kind. Proposal of countermeasures

[Silver] June 4, 2016 14:00

Many customers are coming to Japan, Tokyo, and Chuo-ku due to the easing of Viza conditions and the depreciation of the yen.

I try to be kind to treat foreign customers.

I will show you what was good and troubled in my experience.

1) Travelers from China...

I was asked the way, but I was asked for the way in a language neither Mandarin nor Taiwanese.

In Mandarin, I answered "Shirando", but the customer was smart.

I showed me the photo taken with my smartphone and probably said, "Where is this building?"

   I knew right away.

Please show me a picture of the Sapporo Lion's building that I know very well.

I was able to take you to the front of the shop safely.

2) Foreign travelers who can't speak English ... It's a little long story. Please be patient, please.

On the way back to Kumamoto-kan, I was a little hungry, so when I was looking at the menu in front of the restaurant to eat something, I was going to eat something.

An older woman than me spoke with a smiling face.

She said, "Psycho, Goo." I said, "Is Psycho the name of the place? What does Goo mean?", But I don't speak English.

Once upon a time, on the island of the Caribbean, local people said, "Psycho! I remember saying "Seiko Issciko."

Is Seiko a Seiko? Do you mean Gu (Gu)? If you hear that, you can't respond clearly.

"Well, let's take you there," he said.

While walking, "Where did you come from? Are you a Frenchman?" He was a traveler from a Middle East country that has friendly relations with the United States.

As I expected, Goo was GU and was meeting with a friend at 18:20 in front of the store across it.

The arrival time was 18:23, so we waited together for a while for her friend to appear.

Even if you wait for about 15 minutes, it will not appear at all. There is no incoming record because the mobile phone should be contacted. Do you know your friend's phone number? When asked, "I haven't registered!"

You can go home because you wait alone.>I said something like that, "So, what is the name of the hotel you are staying in?" When I heard that "Ginza!"

There are a lot of Ginza 0., etc. Ginza Hotel.

When asked what direction it was, in the direction of Ginza 8-chome, go about three traffic lights and turn right.

"I'll check the name of the hotel in that area at the police box there, so please wait a moment," and go to Ginza 4-chome police box.

At the police box, I was pasting a map with the name of the hotel in Ginza.

I wrote down the name of Ginza Kokusai Hotel or Ginza Com's Inn, returned to her, and said two names, and replied, "The two are different."

When I thought it was in trouble, "Yes. I had a hotel card key." That's right. The hotel is a famous hotel located in Ginza 1-chome.

"It's the opposite direction. But it's a place I know very well, so I'll send it to the hotel. "

On the way to the hotel, "Did you see Tiffany? Then, what about this florist?" When asked, "Oh! I remember this florist. ", even at the corner of Melsa, I feel uneasy. "Do you see the sign called Hotel M over there? That's what you say, "I think so."

In such a way, I sent it to the hotel and shook hands firmly in front of the hotel door.

Taking this opportunity, <Let's save photos of famous places in Ginza on your smartphone and use them for directions!>I thought it was.

Walking course around Harumi

[O'age] June 1, 2016 14:00

Along the course of "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" p110, which can be seen on foot, some proceeded with a little detour. What is the current status of the Olympic Athlete Village in Harumi? What is the location of the "Harumi Trade Fair Venue" monument on p112? It's a walk with two questions.

Start in front of Kachidoki Station and go to the Sumida River Terrace. You can see Kachidokibashi on your right and Tsukiji Ohashi on your left.

①Cross Niijima Bridge under construction, turn left at the corner of a high-rise apartment, and 2 Asashio Kobashi. Turn right on the street behind the Central District Incineration Plant (Daimeibashi Koen-dori St.), and soon 3 Hot Plaza Harumi on your left. Then go off the course of p110 and go further south along Reimeibashi Koen-dori St. to Harumi Wharf Park.

DSC01208.JPG DSC01222.JPG DSC01232.JPG DSC01236.JPG DSC01242.JPG DSC01253.JPG

And Harumi Wharf (to the passenger ship terminal). I'll go up to the observation deck. There is a reference image diagram of the athlete village, and you can see the current status of the site below. Get off to the first floor, walk along the bus road and head toward the plaza. Take the Plaza Harumi on your left and look at the main gate of the Central District Incineration Plant on your left. There is a walking path entrance at the northeast corner of the site, and there is a monument to the "Harumi Trade Fair Venue" in the planting on the right side immediately after entering. It seems that the name of the large road in front of this Incineration Plant is Subway Route 314. The next intersection of this road is the Loop No. 2 road. As soon as you turn right, you will cross Toyosu Ohashi and your right will be Toyosu New Market. Turn left (Tsukishima Police Station) and go through Tsukiji Ohashi to the direction of Toranomon Hills. Both directions have not been opened (Ring No. 2).

DSC01265.JPG DSC01266.JPG DSC01274.JPG DSC01276.JPG DSC01279.JPG DSC01280.JPG

If you go further north on Subway Route 314 without turning left, you will see the explanation version of the "Phantom Expo" secretariat building on the sidewalk. Turn right at the traffic light at Harumi 3-chome. At Ariake-dori St., you will find the Hometown Harumi Archives on the left side of Harumi Ohashi. Turn back the next road and turn right at Harumi 3-chome traffic light (before turning right at police box), go up with the escalator entering Harumi Island Triton Square, and cross Triton Square in the direction of the Asashio Canal. Go out to the sidewalk beside the canal and turn left toward the Triton Bridge. On the way, cross a pedestrian bridge (under construction) that moves sideways across a new pedestrian bridge to reduce congestion and go to Kachidoki Station.
