DSC00094RS'G.jpg Harumi Triton Square 2F "i green Pocket Plaza Hana, Water, Trees" is an annual mini-garden guided tour to stroll through the park with the guidance of an exclusive gardener. This month will be held on May 12th.

The azalea on the flowerbed of South Triton Park is finally a remnant.

This time, we will focus on plants with beautiful pink from more than 600 species of plants that show different expressions depending on the season.

Flower terraces and green terraces are blooming in bells, and in fact, they are reminiscent of Benibana Japanese snowbell, a toxic containing saponins, and temari, rugosa rose, a traditional craft, and feel the wonders of natural beauty.

The North Triton Park has a unique barbena "Pink Parfait" with pink on the outside of the petals and red on the inside, and looks like a ring, Oxalis Bowee, etc.

It is a gorgeous flower unique to this season.

The Tokyo Olympic Village is under construction now. (From Harumi Passenger Terminal)

[kimitaku] May 10, 2017 12:00

 In the Harumi area

I'm busy making the Olympic athlete village now.

From the south exit of Marunouchi, Tokyo Station, take the Toei Bus bound for Harumi Pier about 20 minutes.

The bus turns right over the Reimei Bridge, and soon, cranes, trucks and many heavy equipment are in front of you.

The signboard under construction of the athlete village in Tokyo and the logo of a major construction company are also vivid.

From the end point, take the elevator of the passenger ship terminal to the top floor.

When you go down, you will see the Toyosu Market in the distance, Toyosu Ohashi, and to the left, Sumitomo Triton Square and Tokyo Tower are beautiful.

It's soaring. 。

 And underneath

Harumi Wharf Park (in the middle of the barbeque where everyone enjoys it)

Right next to it is in the middle of construction.

Everyone, please take a look at the exciting construction sites and the skyscrapers in Chuo-ku and Minato-ku from this Harumi Passenger Terminal. It's very dynamic.

To the Harumi Passenger Terminal, it is convenient to use the Toei Bus bound for Harumi Wharf from the south exit of Marunouchi, Tokyo Station. It is about a 30-minute walk from Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line.

Wild birds on the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park in May

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] May 5, 2017 14:00

This is Tsukuda Usako, which has been in birdwatching in Chuo-ku since last year, especially on the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park.

We will inform you of wild birds that can be seen on Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace in May.

The bird of the capital city of Tokyo, Urikamome, has almost disappeared in order to breed in the northern part of Eurasian Continent after wintering in Japan, but several birds, which seem to be the final set, have a black face It has completely changed to summer feathers. Also, how many days can you see at Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace? I'm in the countdown of Ganglo? If you want to see the squirrels, as soon as possible.

The travel bird's Kyojo Shigi came on April 30! After wintering in South Asia, on the way to breed in northern Eurasian Continent, they come as a relay point in spring and autumn in Japan as a relay point. At Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace, you can see it only around the low tide until mid-May. If you would like to meet Keijo Shigi, named for its gorgeous feathers like a kimono of a woman in Kyoto, the next time is the low tide period from May 7 to 18. (Lower and left)

common sandpiper has come to show her well. common sandpiper is a resident bird and stays in Naka Nihon for a year, but it can be seen frequently from this season. It is a sharp beak with a characteristic of Shigi, aiming for crabs coming out of the rock. If you want to meet common sandpiper, who walks up and down the tail feathers, you will be able to meet quite a chance in the coming season. (Lower and right)

oriental greenfinch. jpg

oriental greenfinch

I came to see oriental greenfinch on the grassland of Ishikawajima Park.

oriental greenfinch is about the same size as sparrow and is distributed only in East Asia.

Breeding and raising children will begin in the future, so you can see them in pairs.

If you would like to see oriental greenfinch with a high voice, listen to a different sound than a sparrow.

Other than that, it sounds well with Japanese tit. Hakusekirei is always flying in pairs with the contrast between white and black wings. Swallows fly at ultra-high speed. In late May, sparrows can meet chicks by looking at the fine Chunchun in the grassland.

It was a good season for a picnic in Paris. Please visit the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park in May.

Carp streamer

[Sam] May 2, 2017 14:00

DSC00020RSG.jpg Of course, the carp streamer that swims magnificently in the sunny May sky in the suburbs is also attractive, but the carp streamer that rises in the open space in the city center is also a different taste.

The Dango Festival is a traditional event celebrating the growth of boys since ancient times.

There is a legend in China that "a carp that has climbed the waterfall called" Longmen "in the upper reaches of the Yellow River can become a dragon and climb to heaven." It is transmitted as a symbol of success.

In the Edo period, the common people of Edo looked like carp as a banner, and "There is nothing on the belly and chest" in view of the above origins, against the samurai whose armor was decorated in inner room and the flag was decorated outdoors. It is said that he set up a carp streamer.

The Tsukishima area (Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, Harumi), where population growth is remarkable even in Chuo-ku.

Saturday, April 29 is the first day of GW, and the park is more crowded with parents and children than ever before, and cheers are echoing.
