Facing the Asashio Canal, there is a nice terrace.

Sit down on a bench here and see ships passing through the canal

It's also a good idea to expand the lunch box I bought at Triton Square during lunchtime.

Calling Mexico Naval Sailing Ship

[Asunaro] September 14, 2017 09:00

The Mexican Navy's training sailing ship, Kuautemoku.

He went through the Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo Bay to serve as an international goodwill.

Anchored at Harumi Wharf.

It is unusual for a Mexican naval vessel to visit Japan for the first time in eight years.

I've seen the inside of the ship that was open to the public.

It's a very beautiful ship.

3 towering masts, polished deck,
The Mexican flag flutters in the wind.

It makes you feel the romance of the Age of Discovery.

The number of passenger ships coming from overseas is likely to increase.

Large sailboats in Mexico open to the public at Harumi Wharf

[saru] September 9, 2017 09:00

On September 6, the Mexican Navy's large training sailing ship Kuautemok arrived at the passenger terminal at Harumi Wharf. Saru, who learned about it by an acquaintance's email, finished his work and flew a car to Harumi. When I arrived, I saw an elegant ship with illumination on the sail girder and full ship decoration. I wonder if it's in the middle of the party on board, and in the wind I looked into the waltz. Of course, I couldn't board outside of hours, so I went up to the second floor of the terminal and took a picture. Harumi often comes to one of the few large overseas sailboats in the world and is open to the public. Surprisingly, Chuo-ku is also the gateway to the sea in Japan. If you like ships, we recommend that you check the information carefully. The public release of the Kuautemoku is open until 18:00 on the 10th (Sun). In addition, on the 9th and 10th, there will be a public release of the Marine Self Defense Force's escort ship Onami, which hosts the ship.
