The night view from Harumi Ohashi is exotic.

[kimitaku] January 31, 2018 18:00

At around 7:00 pm on a sunny day, go along Harumi Ohashi from the upstream direction toward Shintoyosu.

The night view of Toyosu is in front of you.

Along with the green illuminations of the former Ishikawajima dog, the lights of skyscrapers are on the surface of the water.

It's very beautiful to reflect.

The night view of the Sumida River is also wonderful.

Every time you walk up the Harumi Ohashi Bridge, the light flashing on the surface of the water is about yourself.

It feels like turning around, and something is very exciting.

Even on a sunny morning, the morning sun is a skyscraper, and it is reflected on the surface of the water.

But it's dazzling like a prism.

Sunlight at Harumi Wharf

[Shitamachi Tom] January 30, 2018 14:00

Harumi Wharf is an important point of transportation in the sea where many cruise ships berth, but it is also a recommended place as a walking course in Chuo-ku.

Mariners Court_201801(4)_R.jpgLooking at the Rainbow Bridge in front, it is magnificent to see the boat going through Tokyo Port.
The neat appearance of the passenger ship terminal is also worthy of the sea entrance.

Around Harumi Wharf, construction to create an athlete village for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games is accelerating. In the near future, a modern residential building will appear around here.

At the time of the Olympics, many foreign players will surely interact with residents and tourists. . I am looking forward to seeing the history of international exchange in Chuo-ku once again.

Mariners Court_201801(3)_R.jpgOne of the landmarks of this area is [Mariners Court Tokyo], which is popular with local residents. Since it is a related facility for seafarers, the lobby is decorated with a fine cruise ship model.

A napkin is folded into the shape of a ship and set on the table when the banquet is held. Outside the window, the sparkling sea spreads out, making you feel like you are eating on a large ocean liner.

You may enjoy drinking and eating comfortably and feel like you are shaken by the waves.

Please enjoy a stroll around the Harumi area in search of a time to rediscover the charm of Bay Front Chuo-ku.

Sumida River Terrace snow scene

[Slow of Satsuki's Koi] January 23, 2018 14:00

The weather is fine this morning, but since yesterday the Kanto region has snowed as expected, and the Sumida River Terrace is also snowed.

It was covered. In the morning sun, you can see a different view than usual.

I usually see people who enjoy jogging and walking even in winter, but as you can see, because of the snow.

Although there are footprints, I can't find it today.

I think you can see snow scene today (1/23), but be careful when walking.

Especially the stairs that go to the shade or terrace.

Snow Tsukuda Park

[Sam] January 23, 2018 12:00

DSC01739ELS'.jpgDSC01752RS'G.jpg On January 22, a cyclone with a front developed near the west and south coast of eastern Japan and proceeded almost east, and snowfall in a wide area.

In central Tokyo, "Sleet", which is a mixture of snow in the morning, followed by snow falling, heavy snow in the afternoon, and heavy snow warning was issued for the first time in four years since February 2014.

The snow this time is wet and heavy snow that contains a lot of moisture due to the "South Bank Low Pressure".

At 10:00 pm, the snowfall in the city center recorded 23 cm, approaching the level of 27 cm observed on February 8, 2014.

Tsukuda Park is also a silver world.

It is wrapped in a sense of silence that is different from usual, and the St. Luke's Tower seen from Tsukuda Park is hazy and fantastically emerges.

A bridge with a view of the sky tree in the center

[Silver] January 21, 2018 12:00

In winter when the air is clear and beautiful, we recommend taking photos of the competition with the Sumida River. For example, if you walk Ishikawajima from Tsukuda, you can take such photos as Chuo-ohashi Bridge seems to be gently wrapping the Tokyo Sky Tree.

You can also enjoy meals at famous shops around Tsukuda, Shinkawa, and Hatchobori.
